Great caravan but no warranty commitment

Is the best caravan we have ever had but we have a major problem with all of the checker plate pealing.we have contacted JB on five seperate occasions only to constantly being passed on to another person or department with no result or answer.
Today we have taken our van to have all the checker plate paint removed and the base metal to be prepared so it can be painted. This is due to JB not preparing the checker plate at all in the first place confirmed by the company repairing problem.Cost approx $2675.00
Would I buy another JB,Due to the lack of customer backup No.

Poor customer service

Have a 5 year old Scorpion. Initially had some warranty issues small things that were easily rectified … JB sent the parts from Melbourne Hubby fitted them … Lights with condensation in them Fusion entertainment system stopped working , also issues with Dometic fridge - dealt directly with Dometic. At 5 years old snapped an axle 100km outside Birdsville tried to contact ALKO direct … told they do not deal with public need to go through manufacturers only to ring JB and to be told not their issue out of warranty. They were unhelpful until we mentioned consumer rights and they became slightly more helpful … but wouldn’t recommend based on this experience very hard to deal with Show details

Great Product, Fantastic Customer Service

We have taken delivery of our second JB caravan and can honestly say we are extremely happy with our purchase. Paul at JB WA has been amazing to deal with and has always kept us up to date with what has been going on. We unfortunately had to deal with delays with Covid and the Swift Oven issues, but these are out of the control of JB and although disappointed with the delays, we understood it wasn't JB's fault. The product and after sales service is second to none and I would highly recommend. We are very happy with our Sting (with air) Show details

JB caravans are just that - JUST BRILLIANT

We recently purchased a 20ft 6 Scorpion from JB Caravans at Caboolture. The sales and delivery staff were excellent and attended to our every wish. We took it for a shakedown on the dustiest and roughest roads we could find. Absolutely no problems and not one sign of any dust inside whatsoever (can't say the same for the outside). Since had a service and their staff could not do enough for us. Should be named JTB - JUST THE BEST.

Picked up my 20ft scorpion 2 weeks ago from the factory. It was a long weekend and they were very busy. We had a few things that had to be altered and the firm were more than obilging Towed the van back to Perth and had a wonderful time. It was my 6th van ; you would think I would get it right. This van did all I wanted and then some. Could not be happier and see me and the missus having wonderfull trouble free holidays. oh what a feeling. You need a serious tug for these brutes

Could not fault the van

Best easiest to use is a bottle jack.Place jack directly under the coil spring.bottle jacks are strong, reliable, hydraulic and safe.

We can’t understand why we got the constant runabout re the peeling of the paint on all of our black checker plate.
We have recently had the problem fixed at a cost of$2600.00.to us.
The problem was caused because the checkerplate had never been prepared or undercoated from new.
Such a good van ruined by being given the run around and frustrating lack of backup.

Thanks for the info Tracey and Phil. I’m in Wollongong nsw and I’ve got a local custom spray painter. Hope I get the same result. Disappointed with JB.
