Terrible car – Had for 3 months. The road I live on is being widened, therefore there's a short unsealed section of road (approximately 500m) I have to travel on, nearly every second time I drive on it, it picks up a stone between brake pad and disc causing a horrible screeching. This requires trye removal every time, I just don't understand how a supposed of road vehicle should do this so often, I'm sick of it.

Great car, too many issues – It’s a 2021 S Limited, was has been great to drive and a comfortable car, but two years in and I’m over the problems. Buying it new, I am the only driver and it has had a number of issues. - plastic seat trim has been replaced twice. Dealer said the clips breaking is a known issue - tyre pressure sensors don’t work, have been replaced and stopped… Read more

working two days later - clear coat on the paint started peeling, had to be re-sprayed under warranty - software issues, the screen won’t go into day made even manually making it hard to see on a sunny day - cable connector faulty to the A/C compressor

It’s my second Jeep, don’t think I would buy one again

Worst car with poor technical and customer service – Bought in 2017, since then had issues with connecting bluetooth, audio, camera, heating and cooling. The whole unit of car is already been replaced 3 times in 2 years and still not working well. I have been advised that they will install another 4th unit, as if im employed by Jeep to often visit their service centre. I have no other job. Show details

Those horror stories about Jeep are still true – I’ll start off with a warning, do not buy a Jeep! We were really impressed with the car, it was good value for money and all the additional features really gave it a feeling of luxury and class. That feeling has absolutely diminished now that we are 8 months into our ownership and the car is at the dealership (for the sixth time) pending a… Read more

complete replacement of its engine!

Since purchase we’ve had the whole entertainment unit replaced as it freezes and is non-responsive (still does this even after replacement), and we’ve also got an issue with the onboard clock (constantly out of sync, no available fix) and the self parking. Our most concerning issue relates to excessive consumption of oil. We found this out when the car came to a halt with a oil pressure low warning on a busy road. A visit to the dealer resulted in a top up and a warning to check the oil levels.

A month later and the car had gone through a litre of oil and the dealer conducted an oil consumption test. Following the test, it was confirmed that the car is using too much oil and the solution is an entire engine replacement. Currently FCA can’t even tell us when this will occur because the engine is on back order from overseas, nobody can give us an accurate timeframe. Despite concerns around the safety of driving the car, the dealer and FCA insisted the car is safe for the road, but we aren’t convinced and can’t risk the car stopping on a busy road again.

I would honestly suggest you avoid this brand and this model of car, a simple google search on this model and brand finds numerous other concerns around oil consumption and issues dealing with FCA. The biggest issue we’ve had is that the dealer can never just “fix” anything, it always requires them to lodge cases with FCA and then bring it back another time... which just annoys me because it’s so inefficient and a real waste of time. The biggest thing is that the dealership seem inexperienced and unqualified to even diagnose and repair problems, every single issue we’ve had is “something new” and requires consultation with the head office. Honestly, how can you sell a car and not give your dealerships training on issues and how to manage them.

Don’t fall for the sales gimmicks, Jeep are absolutely horrible to deal with once you’ve got a problem. Ours still hasn’t been resolved and so far the people we’ve dealt with have been useless! I lodged a formal complaint and had some young lady call who clearly didn’t even read my complaint because she had zero idea what the complaint was about. Luckily, I’ve sent a complaint to the CEO and we’ve finally got a case manager. We are unfortunately stuck in a 4 year lease otherwise we would be selling the car immediately! Our aim is to force FCA into a replacement or buy back so that we can just move on with our lives!
