Worse customer service ever on Damaged furniture – I spent almost $30,000 on furniture a few years sold our big house was moving to an apartment to rent before we build our beach shack. I didn't want removalists moving my JP. I decided to get my lounge/dining restrained at a cost of $1700. The day of moving we had the delivery arrive I was at storage shed with removalists my husband met up with the couriers the table was too big to fit in lift & the guys were suppose to go upstairs but were flat out moving it out of their van let alone go up 20 flights of stairs. We got the couriers to store in our apartment basement as we are on the 10th floor they backed van right up to garage & walked, at the same time we had another delivery from harvey norman the couriers were in a rush to get back to Brisbane to avoid traffic as we live at Kirra. The lounge fitted upstairs when unwrapped they noticed chips were in our lounge the couriers did point out but the table wasn't really expected the next day we rang JP Brisbane my dealings with [names removed] have been very unpleasant to say the least. I was told by [name removed] I quote it wasn't her that did the damage & they are only human no apology keep in mind I did this as I didn't want my removalist moving my precious expensive furniture there wasn't even a scratch on it in perfect condition than [name removed] rang me & basically talked down to me to say will get a interior designer to look at lounge next morning that lives on the gold coast. He came 30mins late & agreed it wasn't good enough. However, I never took him down to see the table in basement because at the stage I didn't know it was damaged . That afternoon when we turned on lights I noticed two chips on my table exactly like my lounge! Coincidence of course not!! I had been unpacking boxes & was exhausted as removslists didn't leave the night before until 7.25pm arrived at 7.25am been going 12hours. When I tried to explain that to [name removed] she told me she wadnt interested. Can you believe that!!!

I had removalist here for 12 hours nite before obviously I didn't realise my damaged table sitting in our basement hadn't expected it as it was mayhem with the move. The next day after [name removed] expected the lounge it was that afternoon we discovered that our table was chipped as well rang [name removed] straight away still no apology. I was told by her we will investigate get back to you next Friday. [name removed] rang me on Wednesday yesterday to tell me that they were prepared to send a Malcolm down to repair the lounge that was chipped but not the dining table as their couriers didn't see it. Easily missed as it was dark & in a hurry. My husband didn't really check as we had another delivery from Harvey Norman. [name removed] call from Malcolm didn't call me today I need to move my JP table before next Tuesday as our house settles & that spare space in the garage is for my kids dinghy. No call from Malcolm as to date no apology. I rang JP Bendigo left message for a [name removed] to be told she is in meetings all day. Still waiting for a call back from head office. Moral of the story sent & paid my lounge & dining table to be restained got it back almost 2 months later damaged no apology & have offered to only pay for repair of lounge but repair man still hadn't called & the reason won't do dining table is their couriers didn't see it but same chips in furniture as lounge coincidence I don't think so. They are responsible not us. Worse customer service I have ever experienced all I wanted was an apology & to say we will fix it. I will be building in next 12 months was considering to buy more JP after this no way. I may add spent $1000 at harvey Nornan in a KS bunk bed for my boys bedroom ladder damaged straight away an apology & replacement no questions asked & manager delivering it personally. My husband are thinking of suing JP if don't fix. I paid final balance on my credit card before arrived thinking of calling up my bank putting stop to payment until fixed. Really at the end of the day I shouldn't have to. Where is the customer service after spending almost $30,000 on furniture. It's disgusting & very disappointing my expectations of JP is Don't waste your money go to Dare or Harvey Norman there is no customer service at asap. So much for a family run business they don't care!!

Would Give Zero Stars If I Could! – So so disappointed with this company. We bought a number of items from here, lovely styles but for the price, the quality just isn't there. Wish we had of purchased elsewhere, the after sales service hasn't been great either.

Gone Downhill – So surprised at the poor quality of a recent purchase and the terrible after sales service. Won't buy from here again or recommend.

Jimmy Possum Canberra DFO is awesome!! – I'm so happy right now with my new lounge! Thanks to the Jimmy Possum team at DFO. The furniture is lovely and stylish and of good quality plus practical and easy to maintain. Everything I've been looking for in a lounge. JP staff are helpful and show what customer service should be. We were kept up to date and received a courtesy call after delivery for feedback.

One big bonus, the delivery guys were awesome and got a tip for their efforts. They were friendly and polite and not the usual knuckle scraping troglodytes I'm used to dealing with.

Will be very happy to shop at JP again and am now gushing their praises to anyone who will listen long enough.
