WARNING ! Do not purchase anything from Joom. There is absolutely zero way to contact them, return anything, exchange anything - just nothing. There is not even any way to contact them for any reason. I ordered a pair of shoes and they are way too big. It took me ages to figure out how to ask for a return/refund (so sketchy) and when I submitted the request I got an email saying "we should be able to get back to you WITHIN 8 WEEKS!! ). Seriously! There is no way to follow up with anything on their website so I would avise you to NOT ourchase anything at all on Joom. Use Temo, Amazon or Shein as they all have excellent returns systems in place.

I ordered a computer mouse which was supposed to be delivered between Feb 24 and March 1. The order was placed on Feb 13 but wasnt even despatched till March 1st. In the meantime I was told there was a delay and delivery would happen by March 14 at the latest.

I received 14 parcel tracking updates over the next 5 days and then NOTHING!!!! the last update was on March 6 with my order STILL in China.

However, Joom has NO system to chase up orders to see what has happened. When I did manage to send a message telling them what had happened (or not happened to be more precise) I got a reply that ignored the specifics of my case and just reiterated the parcel was on its way.

And the best part, I can not even apply for a refund despite it not turning up, until sometime in May, and then I have to notify them within a specific two week period!! They will THEN take up to 2 weeks to refund me!

Do NOT use this company. The slightly lower price does not cover the frustration of slow or NO delivery, or of having no way to get any sort of customer service.

Chinese companies are pretty much all the same, either shoddy quality or non-existent service.

 Follow-up  · Apart from the TERRIBLE customer service, which was LESS than useless, they lie from the start. On the website it appears the orders come from Latvia, yet the company is based in China which is where everything comes from - EVENTUALLY! When they first advised there had been a delay, I wasn't allowed to cancel the order, even though it hadnt been despatched yet, so obviously they KNOW they are giving out false information in regards to despatch of their orders as so few leave on time, or arrive on time. They appear to have a built in NO cancellation policy. I think I can say dishonesty is the only thing Joom do well!!! I would NEVER order from them again and in fact the experience has ensured I would think twice before buying from any Chinese company in the future.
