Best coffee ever – Excellent coffee. The machine is fairly easy to use and the coffee consistency comes out great. The coffee is ground well and tastes amazing. I believe this is the best coffee machine on the market. Show details ·  1

If you can get one 2nd hand it's amazing – Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the newer models, however it produces amazing espresso. I prefer this over the new models because the LCD and the smart phone integration doesn't interest me. Does the job, built well, and can be found 2nd hand for fairly cheap. Highly recommended. Show details

Can't live without it – You know that saying how the Swiss do and make everything better ? Well this coffee machine is proof of it. This coffee machine has never let me down. Makes my coffee just the way I like it, every time. Very sleek modern design very easy to use. Cleans itself .  Show details ·  1

LOVE our S9 – We love our Jura Impressa S9 it is just so easy to use even I (Hubby) can make cappuccino. The servicing fees are expensive if you stick to recommended services, but we have had ours serviced once in 8 years because it had a faulty heater thingo. The taste of the coffee is more to do with your own taste than the machine so like wine try different… Read more

beans and suppliers until you find one YOU like. Grinding etc makes for a smooth nice coffee.

It is the simplest of all auto one touch machines to clean (No Removing Heads required) I would buy another if they still made them!!! :(

PS fits most Travel Mugs

Good – I have had my machine for more than ten years and religiously do all the cleaning etc required. I have made more than 10,000 cups of coffee. I could not be happier with the machine. Only once did I have to send it on for service at about 6 years old. Since then, not a problem.  Show details

i have not had a better coffee from an automatic machine – This machines produces an excellent grind with thick crema. The milk is always warm. As for service i went to the team at outwest coffee solutions and they replaced the brew unit o rings and serviced it. Less than $70. Very happy i did not get a cheap pod machine.  Show reply

Two flawed to recommend – Not all that thrilled with it. As others have mentioned they have leaking problems which are expensive to fix. Maybe I'm not an expert user but I'm not all that thrilled with the coffee it makes. Not remotely comparable to a decent cafe coffee. The worst problem is that it is a cockroach magnet. It's got warmth, water (in the waste water… Read more

tray) and innumerable crevices and crannies. It's pure cockroach heaven and as a result makes a truly revolting smell as it heats up. I've been scrupulous with cleanliness but have not been able to completely eradicate this problem.

Great Machine, Service silly and expensive-Better to DIY – I've had S9 for 8 years. After 4 years the machine intermittently stopped pumping out coffee and would leave dry powder in reject tray. Jura replaced brew unit-$600 Now doing it again-took apart-found due to small plastic toggle to metal piston on water valve broken-super glue piston metal/plastic together. Now working great!! Great coffee, convenient, parts hard to get in Australia-better to get from Europe Service silly & expensive Show reply

"Jura" Cleaning Tablets – No complaint about the machine, but the service is sadly lacking. The "clean machine" function does not work with the Jura cleaning tablets. My Jura Impressa 9 was sent to 'Austins' at Broadmeadows NSW which resulted in them clearing the blockage at a cost of $175 (still under warranty) and three weeks to be returned after I phoned them. It has… Read more

just happened again, so I ran the cleaning function six times with only water and managed to clear the blockage. I will not use these tablets again nor recommend the product.

Customer Service a joke – I had my s9 now for 4.5 years. After 2.5 years the grinder needed to be replaced. Not happy...A year later the machine started to leak.Had that fixed as well. Than 11 months later, the same thing happend again. Thought would be under warranty, which it was but than i got hit with a bill that knocked my socks off. Because they "found" that the… Read more ·  5

grinder was just about to break down. Ok, if they would let me know what was going on and asking me if i want that fixed i could still make a decision on my own, but there was no communication what so ever this time around. I payed, because i really wanted my machine back after 2 weeks...So the courier came without my box!!!! And of course the machine was scratched. I nearly exploded. Not only they send out a 3000.00 machine without my box, but it was also filthy! After calling them, they told me the machine came witout a box. I told them that i'm not mad, sending such an expensive item without a box. And finally they found it, somewhere...I arranged the machine to be picked up with my box and getting a replacement ( finally somebody was thinking). The next day a courier arrived to pick up my machine without my box and the replacement !!!! Are you people trying to test me? Making a call, it turns out two couriers were sent out. One to pick up my machine and the other to deliver the replacement. Please, where is the box ??? That is so funny, i want to scream ! So now i finally have my replacement and i just wonder what they are going to do with my machine....I'm really not happy about the fact, they replaced the grinder without my knowlegde and asked for the money. I have the feeling they just wanted their money for the repair, which was still under warranty. Yes, they fixed the leaking, i hope, because i didn't even tried it out, after finding all the scratches. My next step will be to contact jura switzerland direct to let them know, how their customers are beeing treated in australia. That is the best ever Coffee machine, I don't know if it's the machine itself, or the rapair hasn't been done properly. One thing is for sure the customer service is shocking. And than it takes them 2 weeks to repair

It is like our third child – We have been so impressed with this machine. After doing quite a bit of research we found ourselves buying this one as an ex demo model. We wanted a machine that ground beans as needed, was easy to use, had different coffee options and was fairly low maintenance and easy to clean. This ticked all the boxes for us. Everything about it is… Read more ·  1

amazing - we love the ability to customise the coffee settings and the fact that the coffees are the same every single time. The milk froth isn't cafe quality but still pretty darn good. We certainly haven't looked back and recommend this machine. Consistently good coffee; customisation of buttons and coffee types; variety of options available; very reliable; very easy to clean; low maintenance. Pricy - but you get what you pay for!

When it works its worth the money, but when it doesn't I wish I repaired my old capp makers – Like most consumers I did a lot of research on this item. Based on what I saw and read I purchased this machine..but if there is even one degree off the settings it does not work. I have had it since February and almost weekly find that yet another issue will not create the beautiful coffee that I was rooked into believing it would discover.… Read more

Don't buy any other coffee machine – Fabulous machine! I did a lot of research before buying a coffee machine and found Jura had an excellent reputation for producing automatic coffee machines. Each coffee is the same as the last - it's very reliable. It is also very easy to program to make your own specific coffee (for example, my husband likes a big cup of slightly weaker coffee… Read more ·  1

whereas I prefer a smaller stronger cup and the machine allows you to program this so in one touch we can make our own coffees!). It also has one of the highest nozzles, so if you like a tall cup, this machine is for you.

The cappucino frother is fantastic - it heats milk (for a flat white) or froths milk (for a cappucino). The froth is fabulous - my sister is a properly trained barista and commented on how good the froth is - smooth and creamy.

The only problem we had was getting hot milk using the frother. The trick to get hot milk (using either the flat white option or the cappucino option) is to move the little dial as close to the centre as possible, right before it starts to spurt. This probably doesn't make sense typing it, but have a look at the machine and hopefully it will make sense.

Maintenance is very easy - the machine prompts you to clean, change things, rinse etc - and it's also relatively inexpensive. We use the Claris filters, so no need to decalcify (and they are fairly cheap at $10-$20 every three months). Machine cleaning is easy and cheap - costs about $5 every 80-100 coffees. Daily cleaning is cheap and easy - cappucino cleaner which we use once a day is $25 for 1L and that's lasted us nearly a year. Be vigilant about cleaning (especially the milk pipes, make sure you rinse them well!) and you won't have a problem.

It has options for you to put it on power saving mode, too, which is good.

Jura customer support was excellent - they helped me sort out the hot milk situation pronto.

We bought our machine from Harvey Norman, after a lot of haggling. The machine IS expensive, but if you buy a coffee from a shop each day, you'll soon see how the machine pays for itself!

We bought this machine because we wanted it to make excellent coffee and be easy and cheap to run and maintain. It is all those things and more! We love this machine! reliable, energy efficient, makes beautiful personalised coffee, cheap and easy to run and maintain a little expensive, but then you get what you pay for - well worth the $$

Problem machine – I have had the Impressa S9 One Touch for 3 years now and had no problems the first six months, since then we have had nothing but problems and it has been back and forth to the technical department approx 8 times. Good – You like coffee varieties? You'll like the machine. I drink a lot coffee and I am often happy with a simple Long Black with a shot of milk, so I don't use the machine all the time. But still, I love the coffee it makes. You choose the grinding grade, you can add hot milk or even milk foam ... Large cup, small cup? Doesn't matter. You set it up and… Read more

you can offer every guest what he or she wants.

And even with the pre-heating: if I am on the run in the morning, I can get my coffee without hassle by a simple push of a button.

Usually, this machine is very reliable. But at some stage, we moved and it didn't work afterwards. So we needed it serviced. This was quite expensive, but they have done a great job! Unfortunately, it can be rather tricky to find the cleaning tablets and filters. You'll get the coffee you want! This machine is extremly versatile, easy to programm and easy to use. Has an energy save mode. Takes a bit space on the counter top. Expensive service and accessoires.

Good – I have had this machine for nearly two years now without a single problem. I have had a few other machines and enjoy a good cup of coffee. This has been a great buy and whilst still not the absolute best shot producer, (the comercial grade manual machines are still the best) it is not far behind, a good crema and the strength can be adjusted. looked for a fully automatic machine after owning a manual one and realised that I had to compromise a bit in terms of convenience and quality coffee. This machine is so much easier and quicker especially in a large dinner party situation than my old manual machine and still produces wonderfull coffee. The automatic milk frother doesn't produce a really dense foam but again is a good compromise. You can still use the manual steam wand to perfect the milk, but again it's primarily about convenience for me. If your in the market for a fully automatic machine and have the dollars, buy this. It's fantastic. Huge amount of user programmable settings. Excellent build quality. Reliable. Great espresso shots. No option for plumbing in. Expensive. Automatic milk frother doesn't produce a dense foam.
