The repairs done by Shahab to our chimney this week were excellent. He kept me informed, showed photos prior to repair and on completing the work and was well within the time frame the improvement was amazing. He was friendly, and efficient. I would happily recommend Just Screw It and Shahab for any home improvements.

They attempted to overcharge me by quoting me an exorbitant amount which I was just too busy to question/query initially... a friend told me I was being overcharged: I challenged the amount. Since then, back in September they have retaliated to me questioning a simple works job performed of drilling a few holes in a wall with absoultely NO "electrical" work done by:

- threatening to take me to the Small Claims Court (great idea: they'll guaranteed make a MINIMUM $75 loss given I did pay $285 already... out of the $544 they're trying to threaten/extort/coerce out of me NOW...)

- repeatedly bombarding me with threatening and f-word laden abusive text messages, which I'm in the progress of reporting systematically to Telstra's unwanted calls team

- in those text messages, they've IMPLIED that they might "visit" my place and will "knock on your door" which is VERY worrying and a bit scary tbh.

- the voicemail message greeting of the phone number of 0407 462 103 identifies itself as that of firstly "[Name Removed]" (the only [Name Removed] locatable online associated with the company is "[Name Removed]" who LinkedIn confirms is in fact the Director of their company Paperock Pty Ltd) and "[Name Removed]", both of whom HAVE been involved in emails with me prior to the harassment/SMS text abuse commencing

To be CLEAR: the job, as I stated it was very clear: "install" a doorbell security camera against the brick wall outside my front door.

Again, to be clear: "install" does NOT mean just drill a bunch of HOLES in the wall! I made it crystal clear to "[Name Removed]" that I needed this camera working. He did NOT get it WORKING.

[Name Removed] or whoever the hell is using this phone sending all the abuse texts to me virtually DAILY keeps telling me the absurd utter nonsense that I have to PAY because "you agreed to the quoted amount". That is NOT how the LAW works: under Australian CONSUMER LAW, any QUOTE for works becomes VOID/INVALID the INSTANT that the work/s are/is either:

- a) incomplete - b) misrepresented in terms of their SCOPE (of the works)

The SCOPE included to get the CAMERA WORKING. It was NOT and for an ENTIRE 1-2 weeks AFTER... Wtf. Seriously. There was NO electrical wiring. He keeps telling me "it's an electrician's" RATE. NOT if there's NO actual "electrical" WORK being done... Goodness me.

All I can say is... they've definitely LOST ME forever as a customer. They're welcome to TAKE me to (Small claims) COURT if they want! And make a GUARANTEED LOSS of $75 and counting the second they pay that $344 filing fee. What kind of IQ does someone need to think that is somehow a SMART IDEA? Making a LOSS of $75 or more... just to prove a point?? These people are unbelievable, just reall odd individuals imo.

I'd personally avoid. At the very least... QUERY and QUESTION whatever QUOTE they give you. SHOP around, look/ring around elsewhere because once you AGREE to any quote with them... they will pursue it aggressively (at least if my experience is any indication).
