FAULTY PRODUCTS AT JW FURITURE – Horrible Furniture! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Bought the Pi Desk, Over $2,500 Looks really nice on there website and they say itll take months to get to you, however when you recieve it, it is very poor quality wood. Breaks apart so easily and all the parts started falling apart as soon as you put it together. Tried to contact support and they never respond or they would tell me to buy glue and put the pieces back together myself.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

STAY AWAY – Desk is too high to comfortably rest your wrists at a keyboard. While bottom of desk is too low so you cannot even cross your legs let alone adjust your chair height to comfortably rest at your keyboard. Unless you are in the 0.001% of the population that has a way-above-average length torso AS WELL AS way-below-average leg length, this is NOT ergonomic for you.

They list the “knee space” in the description then claim it’s our fault for not reading it. But listing the knee space does not suddenly suddenly make it ergonomic unless you are in the 0.001% of the population I described above.

The inflexible returns policy forced us to keep the desk and hope we got used to it over time. But all that happened over time (1 month) was OH&S injuries.

So we emailed them raising the issue of non-compliance with OH&S standards but they simply deflected, got defensive and did not even acknowledge any potential issue with the design of the desk.

I REGRET buying from JW Furniture. There are so, so many excellent furniture companies with great service and flexible returns policies that acknowledge the risk that customers are taking by buying furniture online. I wish so bad that we gave our money to them instead.

So now, $1800 later, we are stuck with a desk taking up space in our home, that we cannot with any ounce of integrity sell on (though we have tried - prospective buyers sat at the desk and shared the same disappointed sentiment). What a WASTE. How do we even get rid of it?!

Couldn’t be happier with the product & Service – I recently purchased the Luna Entertainment unit with white draws from JW Furniture and, I have been absolutely delighted with both the product and service I received. The quality of the unit is second to none. It has beautiful aesthetics, with rounded corners and a contoured front facing. It instantly lifted the appearance of the room providing a modern, unique focal point that was not only very pleasing to the eye but also very practical with plenty of storage within the 4 soft touch draws. Despite it’s beautiful appearance it complemented my existing furniture very well and uplifted the overall appearance of the room. This piece was well packaged and came fully assembled. It was so great not to have to put a flat pack together which is the norm these days. I just had to unbox and within a couple of minutes I was siting back enjoying my new purchase. So if you want a modern piece that screams quality and you are over flat-packs or not good with your hands, I can’t recommend the Luna TV unit enough. It is my favourite purchase in years. The service I received from JW furniture was also outstanding. I have made a lot of online purchases over the last couple of years with lockdown and moving house twice. No other company has provided me with the quality of service that JW Furniture has. With most of my other purchases I was left wondering what was happening, and having to spend my own time following up to make sure that I was going to receive my product. JW furniture provided me with all the details I required and kept communication and updates coming without requiring any prompting. This gave me great peace of mind and I never had the need to follow up. My unit arrived as stated and more quickly than I expected it to at the time of purchase during covid lockdown. The delivery was very smooth. The deliverer personally advised me of when the delivery will be before hand, which gave me plenty of notice to make sure I was available. When they arrived they were very friendly and helpful. I am so delighted with the Luna entertainment unit and JW furniture that I have ordered the matching Luna coffee table. I am very excited to be receiving this before having family over to see my new place for Christmas. Thank you JW furniture for your exceptional quality & service. You have made these purchases such a delight and the checkout on your website was so easy to use.
