Had a Showerscreen installed in March 2025. Water started leaking from door area gradually getting worse each shower. Emailed messaged and rang numbers upwards of 10 times but very tardy response. Today I finally received a call about the resolution. Sadly that was to tell me that it was installed properly and that I must have tampered with the screen for the water to be leaking. The solution was that I would be supplied the items required to fix it but they would not come and undertake the fix themselves. Discussing the matter proved useless as it was indicated that we had different view points and that the problem had been resolved by supplying the items to me to fix. I have now contacted another Showerscreen company and have to pay an additional $350 to have them resolve this matter. It appears to me that they have taken advantage of me and there are no consequences for their very poor behaviour and workmanship
Follow-up · I hired another company to put the bottom plastic slider on the screen to stop the water flow. They came and did the job in 20 min but I had to pay $350 for the job. K&D shower screen said they would deliver the same part for me to affix which I had no skill to complete. K&D shower screens said that I must have done something to the fitting and so it was my fault not their responsibility The father of the the man I dealt with who runs the company texted me 3 weeks later to offer and come and do the job but I declined their offer as I didn’t feel very safe inviting them back into my home and of course the job had been completed by their late offer. K&D shower create very unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with let alone being very slow to communicate with as a customer
