I spend a bit of money on it, suppose to be simple to put together but it wasnt, a little noisy, but it works...i had issues with the head part, it wouldnt stay up, kept leaning down, i know i did it all correctly, but instruction book was so bad, any idea to get the head to stay up ways? Its a annoying, any step by step i can watch? Show details
Powerful fans – The only flaw with this Kambrook pedestal fan is that the grill is attached to the frame with minute Phillips head screws. Which is quite a pain if you want to detach the frame & clean the fan. You literally need a tiny set of special Phillips head screwdrivers to dismantle the fan & clean it. I don't understand why they can't have foldable hinges like the other brands.
Great Fan! couldn't be more happier – This fan looks sexy and works amazing. Great airflow with 3 speed adjustment. It also swings smoothly without any jerks. Show details
Terrible. Low quality – I only bought this fan from good guys as it’s the most attractive one compared to the white or silver clunky ones from Bunnings etc. unfortunately Kambrook brand let me down big time. The fan couldn’t be made any worse. It simply doesn’t oscillate and tilt function broken meaning it just flops down - the Motor cover is also all flimsy and doesn’t… Read more
sit right. I’m still trying to work out why they would make something so simple so crappy. So disappointed- it will go to landfill :-(
Cheap fan in expensive shell – Blades are not aerodynamic and therefore are inefficient and noisy. Oscillation is clunky. Moves side to side in big jumps. It broke down after 3 years. The mechanism is from a $30 fan. Expensive landfill. Show details
Don't be fooled - this is a cheap fan – There is little difference to this $120 fan and a $50 generic fan you'll find at Bunnings. I have purchased and put together nearly a dozen fans over the years and the only difference with this one is the finish. All the fittings, screws, knobs, clips, blades - everything is identical to your much cheaper fan - it is the heavier base and the nice… Read more
gunmetal finish that is the difference - definitely not worth a ~$70 premium. Construction of this fan was one of the worst I've done - with ill-fitting screws and holes, and a tilt function that is actually incorrectly designed! My wife and I spent an hour trying to fix it - so we ended up 'locking it' in the one place. Very poor. It is a little rattly too on the highest speed.
It is quite a powerful fan however and will do any sized lounge room (overkill for a bedroom) and has a wide reaching oscillation range.
Overall I'm very disappointed. This is a $60-70 fan being sold at $110-130 because it has a nicer finish. A Kia or Hyundai with a Rolls Royce paint job.
Great fan with great airflow – The fan offers great airflow with 3 different speed options it’s very basic and easy to use not like a few of the new ones with 10 buttons and a manual on how to use them! It also offers great isolation throughout the room it is a little noisy but if you compare on how it cools down the room you will forget about that real quick great fan for a… Read more
great price but however it only does offer a standard 12 month warranty which these days others offer a longer warranty
Reliable fan but could be better – This fan has a decent wind power but could be better for its price. I also bought a target tripod fan which has better wind power and at half the price. Overall it is a stylish fan which does the job and is durable. If you want a fan that is both stylish and has wind power, then would recommend this fan. Show details
Stay away from this one – I got a $300 gift card to be used in Bing Lee stores, as I couldn't think of any thing that I really need I decided to venture outside my comfort zone and buy "a decent fan not like the $10 ones I used to get all the time" so I got two Kambrook KPF449GUN instead, one for upstairs and the other for the lounge room, both did not last full 2 years,… Read more
became faulty just after the warranty expired, tried to salvage one of them and imagine my horror when I opened the back of one of them; an absolute poor workmanship (plastic parts for the swiveling parts??!!) saying that and to be impartial in my review I have to state:
- the fan is powerful (except the faulty rotation parts)
- The fan is way too noisy and definitely not suitable for bedrooms, lounge rooms (you have to max the volume on your TV) or kids rooms
- As for the fan functionality, it is easy to assemble and very basic buttons
