Served me very well – I can't remember what I paid for it, or where I got mine from, it was too long ago. I haven't had one problem with this after 8 yrs, its still going strong. I would use it on average once in two months, more when had large family as its shrunk over the yrs. I've read the reviews other people have given and I find it hard to believe that the lid… Read more

is faulty. The only time this has happened for me is when I've had too much liquid in it, too full, or too high. Where you have the unit situated can make a difference as well. I've never had a problem with any odours after its been washed and I've cooked a lot of fish broths, bone broths, mainly for my dogs :). Also stews/casseroles etc in it.

I've always enjoyed my dishes I've done and yy dogs love their broths and I like how I can remove the inner part and pop in the fridge if need be.

I inherited another one so I'm going to try to swap it for a smaller one with someone because now that my family has shrunk, I feel I could sometimes use a smaller one.

Love a lamb shank in this – I bought this slow cooker at Big W a year ago and have used it about every 2 weeks since. I love the ease of usae, simple clean up and delicious food I cook with it. Lamb shanks fall apart and a roast is just delightful. When it eventually dies I will buy another.  Show details

Slowcooker – I've had my kambrook slow cooker for years, I could not live without it, nothing is easier than chucking everything in it first thing in the morning, and coming home to have everything cooked to perfection in the evening. Nothing rated better for me than a slow cooker. I just love mine  Show details

Not good – Not good product. Not recommended. Water comes out while cooking with the steam from the side of the lid. Looks like lid is too light so it does not stay down from the pressure of steam. Bought one from kmart and did not use for one month. Lost the receipt after that so could not return. Always bad experience with kambrook. Never buy kambrook product again.  Show details

Second slow cooker – I needed a new slow cooker as my Morphy Richards slow cooker has a crack in the ceramic bowl. I use a slow cooker all the time so didn't want to wait until I had a new bowl. As I have lots of dinner parties I also though that there are times when I could do with a second cooker. The Kambrook slow cooker doesn't have the same features as it is a… Read more

cheaper simpler model but as a second cooker it is excellent and works as expected. It is easy to clean, has a slightly smaller capacity but will still take a family sized meal. I would recommend this product as a low priced efficient appliance.

Lid shattered! – I have had a similar experience to another reviewer with my lid shattering whilst cooking on low. My appliance was less than 2 years old. I have another slow cooker (different brand) which I have had no problems with >5 years old, so I suggest you buy an alternative brand.

Cooks fine but proved to be unrealiable – With some fine tuning this slow cooker was excellent to use. However after two years of use (a fair amount of time) the glass lid shattered into the dish while cooking. For what it's worth I'm only writing this review because it failed and I may be just that one in ten thousand.

Fantastic!! – Unsure what temp to set my Kambrook Quatro Multi Slow Cooker at? I also have the Sauté Function which works fantastic. What I don't see is what temperature the dial should be set at, low or high or medium, not once does it mention this in the instructions. Anyone know???  Show 2 replies

Every kitchen should have one – I wasn't sure if a lamb leg would turn out successfully. I decided to give it a go. For a 2 kilogram leg, I browned it all over in a pan first, rubbed it with a light sprinkle of garlic powder, chicken stock powder and a little white pepper. Placed it in the slow cooker on a trivet, (for elevation) added 1 cup water and a large sprig of rosemary… Read more

from the garden. Cooked on HIGH for 1 hour, then LOW for 4 hours. It was the YUMMIEST roast lamb ever. My husband raved about it, I must admit I did too. It was so tender and carved perfectly. Do try it, you won't regret it. I love the fact that I can "set and forget", come home and it's done. No fuss and easy clean up. Not much really, just sometimes creates too much liquid and makes it too sloppy.

Not hot enough – Slow cooked some vegetables using the low setting and after 8 hours coming home from work the pot was only about 60 degrees Celsius. Tested the next day with high setting and it wasn't much hotter at about 70 degrees Celsius. Not even hot enough to make the water bubble. The flavour of the meals cooked in it didn't taste as good as we expected if… Read more

This could have been a faulty unit but we returned to get Kmart store credit.

Efficient. So easy – Great slow cooker. Good heat distribution Recipe booklet which comes with it isn't great but no big deal. Easy to clean. Bulky to store but that's slowcookers generally. I have a massive cooker/oven so this saves gas for sure Reliable. Easy to use. Trust that it won't burn out Bulky to store recipe booklet is very average.

Excellent – This cooker cooks food beautifully. You can cook whilst you are off doing other things, and then sit down to a beautiful meal at the end of the day. The house smells glorious! You can cook a range of dishes in this slow cooker, and the manual comes with some recipes to help get you started. I also know a few other people with this model, and it… Read more

came highly recommended to me. Excellent slow cooker with a massive 6 litre capacity. This means it will fit your lamb shanks with no problems at all.

Has a glass lid so you can see how your dish is coming along. I like the removable bowl so you can wash or scrub this out properly, without worrying about the electrics. There is nothing I don't like

Terrible – A great size for a big family. Dissapointed that i have had 2 lemons. Customer service has been great and easy to deal with though so a plus there. Great size!! I have had 2 of these Slow cookers in 4 months and the thermostat in both of them has been stuffed. Cooking food in 3 hours on LOW.

Good – Overall a great product. If my unit ever stopped working I would definately buy it again. Kambrook really need to fix the condensation problem though. Great size crock pot for a fmaily of 5. but can be hot to touch while it's cooking. Providing you put it far enough back on the bench the kids won't be able to reach it. When storing, I invert the lid so it fits in my cupbaord properly. After it's been cooking a while condensation builds up around the lip of the lid and bubbles out everywhere. This can be very dangerous if the cooker is left next to the power point! I have tried any things to stop this but it just keeps happening despite the 'feet' Kambrook have put in the lip to allow the lid to sit off the unit slightly.

Not a good slow cooker if you're only cooking a small amount. Due to the width of the crock pot food cooks faster and will burn if left unattended.

Good – This is my first slow cooker and I am angry at myself for waiting so long before getting one. It is fantastic. It is easy to use and seems to cook food really well. I only ever use the low setting (because its usually about 12 hours before I can get back to it. The low setting is still quite a high heat and I have found that I need to go and… Read more ·  1

purchase a 'power-point' timer so that i can time the slow cooker to start about 3-5 hours after I have actually left for work (so that its not cooking for the full 12 hours).

I also love that the ceramic insert is dishwasher safe and that it is a very big size - i have even cooked a roast lamb in it. Easy to use, Cooks Well, Great size, Visually appealing and fits inside my draws for storage! Doesnt have a timer, recipes included in the manual arent great.

Excellent – Our family (of 5) is new to the slow cooker business. My parents bought this Kambrook unit as it was on sale and now gets used at least once a week at our house. It's really easy to use and we haven't had any problems with burning or anything like that. It's so good to be able to just dump a whole bunch of ingredients in there, go on about your… Read more

Excellent – I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I L-O-V-E I-T !!!! I love the oval shape as it fits in all sizes/shapes of roasts etc - something that a round slow-cooker can't do. The larg capacity is also excellent as you can do double batches of cooking - so not only saving time with one meal, but also preparing large quantities .... I love the easy clean surfaces,… Read more

and the overall function of this appliance. It looks good too so if you use it often and leave it on the bench it isn't an eye-sore - It is excellent and I recommend it to friends/family when they are purchasing a slow cooker. Nothing really - but would have loved it to have a 'timer'.

Excellent – I had a slow cooker twenty years ago and switched to a pressure cooker. Both are excellent, however; to put it on before work and come home to a cooked meal. The smell fills the house and you are eating before it hits your lips. Excellent. Good size for a large family or big eaters or if you want leftovers to freeze. Not enough receipes

Bad – Not recommended. Burnt things on more than one occasion. Am not the only user to report issues with this either, so I know it's not just mine that does it. Aside from that, IF you can attend to it, it does what a slow cooker does, but if you want something you can leave all day and come home to dinner, I advise you to look elsewhere for a large capacity slow cooker. It's big Burns things if left unattended.

Excellent – It is a really large cooker. Great looking. Great value for money and it really simplifies getting dinners ready. No complaints! It is really easy to use. Good – I really like it, however it's too big, which means we're wasting food. I paid $70 at Big W for it. I'm thinking of switching to the sunbeam, which was $10 more, but was a little smaller and with a detachable cord. Very easy to use, seems to be good quality, great value for money. There's only two of us and all of the recipes that came with it… Read more

seemed to be for at least twelve people. (And the instructions say the cooker needs to be at least half full). It would be great for a large family. The stainless steel casing also get very hot, which could be dangerous around children.

Good – A definitely recommend this slow cooker. I bought it to replace an expensive one I had that was only 4L and just too small. It does the same job for half the price. Large enough to feed an army, clear lid so you don't have to lose heat to see how it is going and it also doesn't seem to steam up, pot insert easy to clean, it is almost impossible… Read more

to overcook anything, stainless steel looks very nice on the kitchen bench.. Quite heavy so it is a bit of a pain putting it away and bringing it out each time so it has ended up sitting on the bench permanently. I also wish it had a timer.

Good – I bought the Kambrook KSC100 stainless steel slow cooker about a month ago and already had a few dishes cooked without any hassel. or those who do not enjoy slaving over a meal. However, I must admit it was a bit hard to wash the pot afterwards because it is so heavy and the stainless steel holder gets hot quickly after it was turned on so just becarefull if you have kids around. the design, ease of use and pot size the pot is a bit heavy and the stainless steel exterior becomes hot very easily so quite dangerous for kids if they accidentally touch the pot while cooking

Good – This cooker has been a fantastic purchase. I have been able to make healthy home cooked casseroles etc for my family even when I'm working full-time. So simple to use - I've used recipes from a variety of sources and the results have always been mouthwatering. Can be a bit difficult to clean. I've had to soak it in soapy water for up to a day to remove the food residue.
