Kambrook Steamline Detach Steam Iron – I've had this Iron for a few months now and I am most impressed. It is solid, stable and really does feel safe. The way it glides over my creases is brilliant. The water steamer doesn't leave spotches or marks and works really well on linen. I could use the detachable to make my life easier but the flip top is satisfactory. What I don't like is this only comes in purple colour. I had my last iron for 10+ years so expectations were high and I'm sold.
Kambrook need to reassess the quality control on this iron – After doing a fair bit of research on irons, I eventually bought this model. On the box it says "Tested for 520 hours". About ten days after I bought it (for about $50), the steam shot button on the top lost its spring loading and collapsed. Called Kambrook and they suggested I take it back, which I did, and replaced it with the same model. About five days after using the replacement iron, the same thing happened and not only that, when I turn the steam off, it starts leaking over my pants and even around the top of the handle... The factory must have produced a whole faulty batch of these - I've called Kambrook twice. I don't really need the steam shot function, but when it comes to leaking over my clothes (and hand) it's another matter. Looks like I'll try for another brand.

An iron to be excited about – For the money you pay for it it’s really good. It is easy to use. I find that it’s good to use for most fabrics but it’s hard to get creases out of linen. Not sure if it’s really a fault with this product but it’s still great. The only real negative I would say is the stickers on the iron when removed leaves a sticky residue. Don’t really use the iron for delicates but i would say it’s the best value for money
