Cracking good time – I want to add a little balance here. We have a 2007 ATV 2; chassis cracks have appeared, I am peeevvvvved! These vans are touted as "strength of the north" as we have put an extreme amount of our hard earned into this van (I’m not a man with wads to throw around), actually spending above budget to get what we expected to be an upgrade and the unit was to allow us to road trip away for next 2 years as this is our 4th off-road van in 12 years (first kedron) a 16ft, 18ft and 19ft, this one is 21ft.

Today I took it to my engineering shop (they build truck beds and articulated trailers), I was pointed out many points of failure in the chassis and potential points of failure! I am NOT taking this van into the bush! Ok so I did not choose wisely, lesson learnt. I am told that this issues is due to the stiffness of the rear springs/suspension of my vehicle (by Kedron) - I am also advised that now the chassis is modified to the strengthen these same points of failure.

Kedron did offer to fix my issues but it would cost me to return the Van to them some 3900K's round trip.

I have the repairs done near home; they found lateral cracks in the a frame working all the way around from underside, perhaps have a close inspection when looking at older Kedrons?

Comfort in a caravan – Having lived in Kedron caravans for past 9 years could not find better servicing from the Gall boys. Nothing is ever a bother. Now at their new enormous factory makes servicing a breeze. Following being in the middle of a cyclone, glad to be in a Kedron caravan, which kept us safe, had some minor damage which was quickly repaired by the service area, as well as doing some extra updating which we requested. Couldn't thank them enough, would never look at another caravan but a KEDRON. Barry & Heather.

Good off road caravan – If you are looking at serious off road caravans then forget the rest. We looked at "off road" vans for over a year, after completing a 4.5 year long working holiday around OZ in a "Kimberley" off road trailer. We settled on the ATV and have really punished this van for the past 18 months(Some river crossings have had water over the bonnet of our sahara !!) Lots of van manufacturers label their vans as "off road', but still have chipboard kitchens that fall to bits at the first set of corrugations , or have garden trailer hitches. Mostly the solar/battery set up is not nearly adequate for the caravan.

The most rewarding thing is knowing that this ATV can do the job that we expect...... we are not in the gall boys category , but close, and its fantastic having ppl say to us ......." how the hell did you get that in here" :-) Love the product!!! It's extremely tough but please be aware of the track/conditions of your destination ,,, like everything , if you look after it , you will get there..... It took me some time to realise that you can"t take it everywhere.

Excellent – Kedron is family owned/operated and it shows in the care and quality of the product. The Gall boys can't do enough to help in planning and in their after sales service. Standard of build and custom fitout. Tows brilliantly and makes hard off roading a breeze. Has the extras others want to charge for.

Excellent – Great van and a great family business to deal with. Couple of minor warranty issues (product failure of battery charger and camera monitor) dealt with quickly with no hesitation to rectify. Van tows well and lives up to the offroad blurb that a lot of other manufacturer's claim but fail to deliver. Absolutely brilliant van. Attention to detail is superb with everything "finished" off. No sharp horrible bits. Good sealing and build quality. Access step. Too low for an offroader got buckled first time off road.
