This car is an absolute delight to drive, BUT...... Driving the 2025 KIA Seltos is a Horrible Experience I regret buying it! While physically, the car is a delight to drive, the constant beeps, chimes and alerts utterly ruin the driving experience! You can’t listen to the radio, you can’t have a conversation with others in the car and worst of all, you can’t concentrate on your driving or what’s going on around you!

Some of these “features” (annoyances) can been turned off. However, I found myself swearing at the car when I next started it and found they’ve all been turned back on!

It's like constantly telling Oscar Piastri that there's a curve up ahead!

Where’s the “Save my settings”? Where’s the “Silence Alerts”? Where’s the “I want control of my car” button?

KIA have completely ruined the driving experience with intrusive, unwanted sounds!

I’m now considering work arounds such as taping over the forward looking camera, shorting out the seat belt sensors, snipping the antenna and cutting the PCB tracks to the speakers (and buying a transistor radio).

KIA, what on earth were you thinking?

Please don’t be so base as to write back telling me I’m disabling all the safety features. KIA made this their fault when they gave me no choice in what I wanted to hear!

Summary - The system programming in this car was designed and implemented without the slightest consideration of the driver of the vehicle. The user interface is based on what KIA wants to say rather than what the driver wants to hear.

I look forward to a major software update designed from a users perspective rather than a perspective that constantly spews unwanted data at the driver.

Don't but a SELTOS KIA – The worst car ever. They have a beep that can't be turned off and it annoys you everytime you are 1 KLM over the speed limit. Beep. Bloody beep. Recommend DON'T BUT A SELTOS

can't use a bike rack on a tow bar – Kia Australia is completely behind with the times. In other countries (US, NL, DE, UK. BE), you can have tow bars that are suitable for bike racks, even the Kiwi's have them. But not here. I asked the dealership before buying and they said it wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, it's too late now as I don't have it in writing. I wouldn't have bought the car. And I don't understand, if the tow bar can't handle a bike rack, the tow bar won't be able to handle a normal tow as the bike rack is much lighter. A sub standard tow bar that will break. Unfortunately, customer services were not able to give enough detail what exactly the issue was.

Great Car – This is a comfortable, solidly built car. It handles well and is easy to park. I did have a problem with the dealer and kia head office were completely ineffectual in assisting me, they need to grow a pair. My only problem with the car is an ongoing glitch where it tells me there is a school zone ...e.g. on level 6 of a city carpark. They have been unable to fix this so far

Purchased in at Riverland Auto group for $35,000.
