More branded rubbish in Australia – This is another one after 6 months it's flat I'm trying different ones i don't recommend this as well for the price and the name Kingcrome should be ashamed of this going flat so fast. Chinese $20 ones work longer than this all branded products now days are rubbish just the name and a big price on it but doesn't work. This is why China is doing so good and Australia is going down hill. Show details

Not worth the price tag – Bought this jump starter/ charger used a handful of times , when I can get it to charge then the game of trying to start a joke , paid a lot money thinking this would fix all my problem I have had over the years only to find was a waste of money and no longer works or charges in under 2 years . Batch code 0017 Show details

Absolute garbage! – Purchased this unit believing in the brand name. Used twice and then it throws up an error code and won't charge past 79%. Having only a 12 month warranty and given the number of times the average person has a flat battery allows this product to work perhaps once only then out of warranty. Kincrome has become cheap Chinese garbage. Do not get sucked into wasting your hard earned. Show details

I agree, not really worth it – I've only used it on my Motorcycle a couple of times. It worked once. The unit itself won't charge via the wall charger anymore, in fact the charge level drops. I've emailed Kincrome for assistance but I don't even get the courtesy of an acknowlegement. 29 March 2023 Kincrome finally responded. Their technical folk said the wall charger is… Read more

only for charging the jump starter part of the unit. Given the unit does not have batteries to charge, only large capacitors, so what the hell is being charged?. They obviously have no technical knowledge of their own product.

Given I no longer have proof of purchase they won't help any further, so I've opened up the unit and found two of the capacitors on the circuit board are measuring double their rated capacity. I'm not sure if that is the cause but it maybe. At the point these are soldered on the soldering is very suspect, it is very messy with too much solder all over the place and flux still on the board, given that and the unit was missing one screw it looks like I was sold a repaired unit.

I thought Kincrome had quality products. This has now made me think twice about all of their products.

Dud Kincrome Starter – Kincrome Kickstart II Batteryless Jump Starter 12 & 24V - KP8003 Kincrome. Don't bother buying one this unit can only crank over 3 crank's only and after that you have to wait 20 minutes b4 trying it again" what a joke how is anyone meant to start any car with only 3 crank's not possible" specially with diesel vehicles 24v it keeps cutting out… Read more

will not start trucks at all. Do not buy this rubbish product. For this price kincrome is dreaming" I've lost my money but other people in Australia or any other country don't buy. I bought a $100 cheap one it starts everything.

Looked like a great new product but time has told otherwise – I bought this mid to late last year from a big brand hardware store, excited to ditch the big battery style jump starter and carry something I didn't have to charge. When I did try it on the forklifts at work (we have many some are gas some are diesel) it wouldn't even kick the small gas forklifts over. I thought I was possibly just using it wrong… Read more

and put it away to investigate but never got around to it.

Fast forward to now and the thing wont even charge up. It gets to about 23 percent and the screen goes red and it says Err with a picture of a screwdriver. Unfortunately I trusted the brand name and don't' have the receipt just the box. Either it was only gonna live for 1 or 2 charges or it was to frail to live in the boot of a car, I'm not sure which.

Keep your receipt, I'm thankful I didn't have any situation where I had to rely on this with my car being flat.
