Absolute Disgrace - and its Australian – Have had mattress 4.5 years (came with 10 year warranty) .It has slowly deteriorated to a point now it is more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Totally compacted ,collapsed in the center to a point we just roll to the middle all night. warranty of no use as all these problems are comfort issues which it does not cover.Over priced ,Over rated, junk. Show details

Sleeps hot and no mid back support feels like quicksand – Bought this Queen blue/ green series for $2500 in July of last year After taking that “ sleep test”. We were barely given 30 days to try it by Art Van ( now out of business). I felt like I was sinking in quicksand and hate to turn the AC up so high I was still drenched in sweat and sore/ tense with left shoulder pain all the way down my mid back… Read more

Kingsdown not getting another chance – We purchased a Kingsdown Sleep to Live series 400 from Snooze in June 2010. Was initially comfortable. The first was replaced under warranty after a few years, which we were very lucky with. Same complaints as all others i’ve read - major sagging and fluffed pillow top. Second mattress - same issues. Limited warranty is called that for a… Read more

reason as it’s impossible to avoid any stain on a mattress and claim won’t be honoured. I’d be happy to have same mattress resurfaced with current topper. Instructions are to avoid cleaning solutions or sprays, cleaning as may cause damage. Warranty claim instructions direct you to have mattress cleaned before it will be assessed, contradicting earlier direction when it appears claim won’t be accepted anyway. It’s ready for the tip and hopefully get it right with another brand. Will avoid Kingsdown from here on as why give another chance? Will recommend others use this site for honest reviews.

Rubbish – The shop sleep easy were no better than the rubbish they sell you. Terrible mattress. Does nothing it claims to do. I was silly enough to pay over $5,000 for this rubbish. After 3 months the mattress began to sag and the manufacturer said it was within tolerance. I’m not overweight and neither is my partner. I did a lot of research before buying.… Read more

Don’t waste your money or time. We bother suffer back and hip pain because of this useless mattress. Does not support your back or hips. I would not recommend the sleep easy shop or the manufacturer of this product to anyone with back or hip pain. Just because it’s expensive, doesn’t mean it’s any good, It’s absolutely rubbish. Mattress sagged after 3 months. Manufacturer was not interested in helping. Now we suffer back and hip pain because of this rubbish. Never again would I buy from sleep easy or this manufacturer.

Doesn’t last the warranty time – It is an expensive bed and we like it. I went to snooze where we got the bed from to see how long we hAve had it 7 years it seems. We have noticed that it is sagging and has a huge bump down the middle of the bed. Our backs and necks starting to suffer. Lady in the shop said we could not claim warranty and to buy another one which is under a new… Read more

name and has been perfected for not sagging and no bumps down the middle. We paid over $3000 for the original bed - not going to pay that again when I expected it to go the full haul of time.

Absolute Disaster – We paid almost $6000 for this mattress. After the first 6 months it showed signs of sagging. It was supposed to support all of the area's entered into the system for our body profiles. What a con. I cannot believe these are still on the market. Glad to be rid of it and finally have a quality mattress for 1/3 of the price.  Show details

Great bed but a little pricey – I love the bed compared to the select comfort air mattress I was on. The sleep to live really helps my lower back with the perfect support. Took about a week for my body to adjust but then it was perfect. I sleep like a baby. Gave 4 stars only because of price.  Show details

I feel so deceived and cheated – This mattress was amazing for about 6 months, then kinda so-so. After a year it had body indentions that made it hard to sleep anywhere else. No snuggling. After 2 years it is downright uncomfortable. The store told us to get lost in kind words. We spent close to $5k on this mattress, truely believing that we bought something that was good… Read more

quality. I looked up all of the foams the salesman said it was made of, everything suggested it was made of top notch materials. A few days ago I was at a place that manufactures foam mattresses locally, and got inspired to cut this mattress open and see what was inside. Its comical, the foams used are not at all what was on displayed, or what the salesman told us. Dozens of lies about the materials. After researching online more I realize that the mattress they sold me used materials inferior to many sub $1000 mattresses shipped to your door. I feel so dumb. So so dumb. I learned a lesson, I may as well been sold snake oil. Fun fact. Locally I can have a mattress custom made with literally the best top quality materials for just under $2000. Do your research, and skip this company altogether.

I have better mattresses for much less money – We bought our king size mattress Sleep to Livee 800 series in March of 2014. In the store (Art Van) in felt nice and comfortable. Slowly but surely it started to sag on both sides and in the middle there is a ridge. So when I sleep I feel like I sleep on the hill. And the sagging is getting worse. Is this what I paid $3,000 for? every other night is a struggle, I wake up not rested and my back is hurting. Worse purchase ever.  Show details

Kingsdown Adelaide Worse Mattress Ever – The mattress was comfortable at the store. The mattress sags in the middle and my disabled mother is unable to sleep in it. She sinks down in the middle of the bed and can hardly roll up to get out of the bed. The warranty department tried to blame it on the bed frame. I contacted the company where the mattress was bought and paid an additional $50 for a new frame that I was told would correct the sagging. It did not work.  Show details

Been sleeping on my couch for 3 yrs now! What warranty!?!? – I'm disabled from an auto accident and sleeping is one of my biggest battles. The bed was great for a few months, then, like SO many others have stated in reviews, the bed became my worst nightmare. It is visually sagging but according to the warranty people it isn't sagging enough. The bed's support is also visibly breaking down in multiple areas… Read more

and you literally can't even sleep straight and getting out of the bed became so difficult that I required help getting up due to my injuries. It got so bad that I have been sleeping on a couch for the last three years because I can't afford another bed on my disability income and especially after spending the outrageous amount on this bed. The sides of the mattress are visibly broken down. It is impossible for two people to sleep in the bed together because you both end up on top of each other in the middle of the bed. The warranty people said they only replace it if it is sagging one and half inches and that they do not take into consideration how the rest of the bed is performing or what condition it is in, despite the obvious fact that even he said he could see the multiple areas where the mattress seemed off.

Well, that's my experience and my 2 cents...save it, spend it, throw it away...

Third time was not a charm – At first sleeping for about 5 hours the mattress is fine but after that I sink into the canoe and can hardly roll up to get out of bed. I'm sure the 800 series mattress is durable but I haven't had one of the three I've had long enough to give a accurate opinion. Won't buy another pillow top  Show details

This mattress is a huge waste of money! Poorly made – This mattress was comfortable at the seller, Art Van, but shortly after it was delivered it was sinking. We've had it warrantied once with an over 3 inch dip. It's doing it again and you can feel it breaking down even if you cannot see the sag. I can barely get out of this bed without severe pain. Worst bed we have ever slept on – We purchased this bed system in 2011 and after 6 months rang as it was sinking on the sides. They said sorry no fault. One of our best decisions – My wife and I have had a Sleep to Live mattress for about a year and a half and it is one of the best things we have done. You sink in a little bit so it is really comfortable, but still provides great support for our backs. I often woke up lower back pain and a stiff neck in the morning with our old mattress. After getting the new mattress, the… Read more ·  1

lower back pain in the morning nearly disappeared after about a month, and stiff neck is gone.

As for durability, after a year and a half, there are slight body depressions that you can see if you look close on either side of the bed where my wife and I lay. This does not seem to affect the support at all. I remember it took a couple of weeks to kind of break it in when it was new. It actually felt a little stiff. Now when we climb in bed, it is like putting on a comfortable pair of slippers. The stitching seems to be holding up well. The fabric is still in great shape, but we use a mattress protector cover. This really is a great mattress.

What a Joke!!! Worst Purchase ever – This has been the worst purchase I have ever made - to fault of mine I just accepted the fact but now looking online and after my bed has now collapsed in the middle I have decide to declare what a piece of rubbish it actually is! between my husband and is 130kg. We got the tan/Green.

About 3 months in I called the store (snooze and they advised it was normal) called again about 6 months later and they advised that it was cause I had not purchased the base...1 year later I was rolling down a cliff (my husband's side) and could not even roll to his side as the mattress has sunk so bad!

Don't waste your money going to Snooze - get a brand you can trust and one that is not scientifically based. We have a spare mattress in the guest room and its better quality at $500.

Expensive gimmick... Absolute Rubbish – Worst mattress i gave ever had the displeasure of sleeping on and paying for. Initially we bought the bed becaus the "science" was supposed to provide us a bed that was best suited to our sleeping style, weight and potential pain issues. We ended up with a tan and green... 6 months in and we were in agony... Both sides had huge dips in it. We… Read more

contacted snooze and had the rep contact us who told us that the dips 3.5cm was acceptable. We persevered for 3 more months and then the dips got bigger. After a lot of running around, they replaced the mattress, they told us that there was an issue with the foam layers (manufacturers fault). They also told us that they had changed their software and we needed to be re profiled. Meanwhile, i have lost 20kg since the original bed and i have been told that i need to move to a firmer bed due to my weight??

Needless to say, the new bed arrives and after a few months, we are in the same position again. It was back to weekly physio visits to try and set ourselves straight again. We contacted snooze again and we met with the rep who was great... Replaced the mattress for the third time and yep... You guessed it, in three months, we have 2 huge body impressions on either side and are waking up with sore backs. Huge lump in the middle. We were originally told that we should take turns sleeping on the hump to flatten it... Pretty unreasonable request in my opinion! Whilst we were waiting for this last claim to go through, snooze were able to provide us a loan mattress which was a basic inner spring mattress with no pillow top, etc. We had the best sleep on that basic mattress! Unbelievable.

I have just come back from another store where i bought a basic mattress and am looking forward to a good night sleep again.

If you have $3000+ burning a hole in your pocket, dont buy this mattress!

You will regret parting with your money after the first three months...

A terrible mattress – Hump in the middle and no support on the sides. Snooze told us to contact manufacturers rep. She told us that this was caused by using a fitted under sheet! What a joke! Best bed I've ever slept on – I have owned a Sleep To Live 800 for about 2 years now. It is honestly the best bed I have ever slept on. Obviously it IS expensive, but you get what you pay for in this case. My partner and I looked for almost a year for a bed we could both sleep on and after much deliberation selected this bed. We chose 2 seperate comfort levels (Red/firm and… Read more

Green/Soft) and while this makes for an experience akin to sleeping on 2 seperate beds both of us are very happy with the purchase. We are very pleased with the comfort, build quality and service (a minor issue upon delivery was recified within a few days) and the lasting comfort of the bed. The only negative is the STL bed-base which too light and too big by an inch or 2 all around for the matress, leaving a hard edge sticking out and has a tendancy for the 2 sides to move apart. COMFORT!!! Quality and service Cheap, low quality base

dying to sleep – We paid $5400 for an absolute dud of a product. Everything from the moment we fell for the snake oil advertising pitch was wrong. It started with their jingle's take the guesswork out of buying a mattress'.The way they do that is they introduce you when you go into the store to a computer system which is supposed to tell you which is the best… Read more

mattress for you.Its called 'sleep to live; So immediately you can bet the salesman knows nothing about mattress as that task[advise]is abrogated to the computer.

Immediately you are caught in the web as they are intent on selling you the highest margin mattress,a brand called kings down, made in the USA .See,kingsdown developed the computer system and actually own the system so as soon as you fall for the con that the computer knows best you are cut of from all other brands in the store because the kingsdown owned computer system will only choose a kings down ;my side mattress' irrespective of whether or not another brand makes a mattress that fulfils your need or more suited to you.

What they don't tell you is that the kingsdown has the lowest customer approval rating in the USA [61%] and is inundated with chemicals in the production, transport and storage process and then is fumigated by the australian dept agriculture in order to get into australia with pesticide...and you sleep on that for 8 hours a day.Check it and see if there is a label on it or accompanying it disclosing materials and chemicals used in the production, transport, storage process. There isn't! Thats the beginning .

Our mattress quickly developed a hump in the middle and slants on both sides. This is after they replaced it because of the foul door which it gave of when the plastic bag it was in was opened upon delivery...a result of what we now know to be fungicides, pesticide , vinyls, benzine and insecticide.Well snooze promptly replaced it but the second one also smells...but we listened to their 'expert advice' that it would go in time and we slept on it.

We developed back, arm and shoulder pain and my husband had an mri and as a consequence had to have physic so we stopped using the mattress and in time the pains, aches psoriasis started to recede and we asked for a refund under the warranty.

BIGsuprise .both the retailer and manufacturer say that they will only give a refund if there is a major defect but the shifts will not define for us what a 'major defect' is...so we've gone to court and they are still intent on wearing us down but they won't...They are really good at jingles...look at the volume of complaints in the USA which they are trying to drown out by advertising on all the blogs and you will see why 'sleep to live' should be'dyind to sleep'.Shame on these 'expert' exploiters.
