Kiva Wellness Circadian Sleep Pod

Doesn’t work if your rooms hot so if your buying it too cool you down get an eight sleep or something

I have struggled with sleeping hot for some time now (likely thanks to perimenopause!). I had the lightest quilt I could find on the market, and have tried pure cotton, wool, bamboo, cooling underlays etc. etc. etc. I would wake up sweating, throw the covers off, then wake up cold (from the air con), pull them back on again, and that would go on all night long. My sleep quality was AWFUL. I then saw a fitness influencer on Instagram talking about the Eight Sleep system, which intrigued me until I saw it is well over $4000. After a Google search, I found the Kiva Wellness Circadian Sleep Pod. I searched all over for as many reviews as I could, but they were limited. I thought about it for around 3-4 weeks before finally taking the plunge. I was put off initially by the fact there is no returns, but I was desperate. I can understand why there is no returns (hygiene etc.) but I have purchased mattresses online which have 100+ days in which you can return if you are not happy, so I did feel like I was taking a $800 risk. It arrived quickly and was very easy to fit to my bed and set up. There is a humming noise from the tank, but it is not disruptive, and I quite like it - it's just white noise. It has a remote control making it easy to turn on and off, but it will turn off after 12 hours if I forget to do it. The pod does take quite some time to cool the bed down when it is very hot, especially if the room is hot - and on the REALLY hot nights I cool the room down with air con first, then I turn that off and just run the ceiling fan with the sleep pod. It cools better if I have a quilt over me. I have the single size on my double bed, and it does not move around at all. It takes up a bit more than 2/3 of the bed, so luckily it doesn't bother my partner when he stays. Despite setting the Pod to its lowest setting, not once has it actually gotten that cool, but it still cools to a very comfortable sleeping temperature. My sleep has been transformed and dramatically improved. I can sleep with the light quilt on and not wake up sweating, the hot-cold-hold-cold cycle is over!

I am very happy that I took the risk and purchased the Kiva pod, and I hope the machine lasts!
