Hard work – The ratchet system on the pruners is not sturdy. Often slips or doesn’t connect properly so have to start again. Also there is a grove in the bottom edge of blade and wood builds up so again have to stop, clean blade and start again. The pruners aren’t as easy to use as shown on advertisement. Show details

Disappointed – Package arrived within days, however the pruners don't seem to work as well as expected. The moving handle makes them hard to use and they don't cut easily or well even for thin stems. Disappointed as the advert looks so good. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Sorry. Show details

Thi is perfect – Couldn’t believe how easy they were to use, I have rheumatoid arthritis In my hands and thought gardening was gone for good. These are the best money spent, I got my sister to use them and she was impressed, she has arthritis in her hand also. Show details ·  1

Worst pruners ever! – Blunt, don't work like they do on the commercials, struggle to cut thin twigs and slip on the larger ones. The only decent thing in the whole purchase are the scissors. Show details

Disappointed – I bought these because I have arthritis in my hands and they were recommended by a friend. The ratchet action is OK, but after cutting, the space between the blades is very small and I have to use my other hand to open them before I can make the next cut. Do I have a faulty pair, or can this be fixed?

Disappointing – I had lot of trouble undoing the safety latch. When I did, I ended up with 2 cuts, one a VERY nasty deep one on my thumb which has taken a while to mend. The ratchet is good for wider branches, but they are annoying for the small ones as don't cut first time. I have bought a better quality pair. Show details

Terrible pruners, junkie and flimsy excuse for a pruner – Junkie rubbish pruners. The cat and I are extremely disappointed with these pruners and won't be recommending them.

Great little tool – I'm glad I purchased this. I have arthritis in my hands which makes it hard for me to prune the trees. This little tool is way easier to use than a normal pair of secateurs. Show reply

Terribly disappointed – cuts small to medium twigs but the top cutter gets stuck half way thru a reasonable branch and it doesnt take the net step. both green and dry.

Not as good as it seems – I found these cutters not as easy to use as they look on TV. Found them awkward to hold and to cut and they were not cutting on the first try half the time on smaller bushes . My son however found them ok to use on bigger / thicker branches.

Great little gardening products? – My only disappointment is that the hand guard in the pruner is very loose and makes it hard to grip it properly. Not sure if this is normal. Otherwise it works great! Hand saw works really well. Show details ·  1

Rubbish – Used them for 5 minutes. Wouldn’t cut anything bigger than my small finger without getting jammed etc. So disappointing. Threw them in the bin in disgust Show details

Very helpful for large shrub pruning – Couldn't work out how the safety lock works. Is there a way to keep the shears closed when not in use ? The safety lock is very stiff and because I have arthritis in both hands I had trouble closing the shears when not in use. Show reply

Good but not Great – I gave into the hype with the pruners but they did not live up to my full expectation. Mainly my concern is with the the way it cuts and the gearing is or seems not strong enough and feels like it will break at any moment although it has not yet. Show details ·  1

Purchased as a special gift & one for me – I haven’t had a chance to use mine, but, my friends tells me she loves how easy the are to use, they fit nicely & the hand is protected when pruning - money well spent Show reply

Wow!! – First impression was "these are loose and flimsy, how are they going to work?". How wrong can one be. They are brilliant and cut some pretty thick branches with only minimal effort. So glad I took the punt on them. Show details ·  1
