Blender not working – Please, I got the blender earlier this year and it has been serving well until this morning when I tried to plug it in, it showed the blue light and went off, I have tried different sockets and it is still same. My cooking has just been interrupted. What do I do please?

Thinking of buying a cheap kmart blender? DON'T! – Used four times only because it was so loud I had to wear ear plugs. Really hard to clean. Started leaking through the base by the second use. On the fourth use, the plastic tab on the cup top snapped and jammed in the groove on the base and the contents poured out. I posted this review on this page with the exact date I purchased it then I got a comment that I have attached here. So, I removed my comment and then contacted the Kmart team as advised. Then they said that they, unfortunately, cannot do anything as the warranty is over and pretty much wasted my time. What an unpleasant blender and unpleasant experience.

Terrible and should be disposed and Kmart should stop selling it – I will never recommend this blender. Bought last June 2022 and first time I used it, it leaks. tightly. Today, I used it again and asked my husband to properly put the blade cover and make sure it is tight! I blend my 250ml smoothies with 3 pieces of ice cubes, guess what, it leaks at the bottom and when I lift it, the blade cover was remove automatically!!! I called Kmart Dandy as I don't have my receipt anymore, terrible customer service too! Called 4x different times and nobody wants to answer!!!! Shocking – Waste of money, this is the 4th blender i have bought from Kmart south hedland and theyre all terrible, you have to hold the lid down otherwise it will pop open and spray all over yourself and the kitchen, it leaks out the bottom leaving a big mess every time. i was actually looking for the company to email through a complaint so if anyone knows thatd be great. Great for individual smoothies or larger – This item is LOUD. BUT-not much louder than a regular blender? I wouldn't use it super late though if the household was sleeping. it does have to have a few goes. It WILL get there. You do have to make sure the lid is on properly, but then, that is true with all blenders. I wish it came with 2 cups, but the jug is a good size for larger portions. Easy for the family to use, easy to clean. I wouldn't try it with nuts, but it does cope with the ice/frozen fruit in small amounts. You can always add more. The suction feet are surprisingly strong & help stop it move around. I mostly use the smoothie or pulse setting. Great little blender for the price, with a bonus travel cup.
Honest 4 Stars but could be quieter – If you're an aspiring alcoholic like me and blending out a Pina Colada at 3am helps you sleep at night, then by all means this is the blender for you. The rubber seal has stetched and it now leaks badly - to the point where the blender is unuseable. Leaking mess – I’m a pretty strong guy and no matter how tight I do up the base, it loosens generally through the ice crush function when it’s pulsing on n off and leaks, Mrs has no problem and thinks I must be doing something wrong but she only blends hers for a short time and not pulsing. Apart from the noise, I cant fault it – Replaced junky Nutribullet because their base/blade unit kept burning out bearing. Bad design due to dry bearings. Im pretty sure the Anko product does not have dry bearings which is preferable because these things scream. tighten with too much force, as the thread is not exactly the same. ----- Makes perfect smoothies and doesn't take up too much space. Tip - for prewash after use, half fill with water and put on a short burst smoothie cycle and it makes the product much easier to clean later. ---- As for another user comments about the base leaking; yes, well they do if you don't screw them up properly; surely this makes sense?

Come on feel the noise – Blends ok, not so great with frozen fruit though as it tends to get air pockets and just make noise (lots of noise). Should come with a family sized box of ear plugs. My daughter loves making frappes with it, and it gets there eventually, usually at about 10pm. Dogs 4 houses away start to bark. Capable of almost everything – I love my blender and use it every single day for smoothies, it has no dramas blending ice. I blend pesto and more dry ingredients in there too which isn’t as successful as it needs a fair bit of liquid to blend or chop. So many different speed settings. It is quite noisy! Show details
Has some cons but good for under $50 – Very powerful it demolishes anything I put in it. Oh my gosh it is noisy though...I have to give the kids fair warning to evacuate kitchen lest be scared witless. I also have the issue a few times of the bottom detaching mid blend.... Powerful and good value – The blender is excellent value and comes with a couple of attachments (the main blender and 2 cups). It is more powerful than I expected and has blended everything with ease.

Seals very poor quality so blender leaks – Unfortunately the seals are cheap plastic and have worn out within a year. Cannot find replacement seals online to fit so everything is now leaking out the bottom. Motor still working but without proper fitting seals the thing is useless. third one last almost 2.5 years before it cracked the blender jar body and then we again placed our trust in kmart and got the same model again which is going strong for last 1.5 years ...!
it is worth noting that you can either buy something worth $150 or $200 and then use it for 5 years or you buy $49 every two years ! choice is yours but we consider that paying low upfront is value for money for US ! Just note that if you happen to buy this then keep the receipt of purchase in case you need to replace it !

Very unimpressed – Sadly on the first use the xj-12412 will be heading for the bin. The processing liquid just came right through to the base mechanism , which has now well and truly made the machine . ( yes checks were done to make sure it was all tight and good to go) $50 down the drain. Worst purchase consudering choice gave it a decent report.
