So I bought this thinking it was a really loud pencil holder. I put pens in it. Nothing happened. Then I put a banana in it and it screamed at me. Turns out it’s called a blender. Apparently it's not for storing office supplies?? It's for turning solid things into snack soup. Which is honestly insane if you think about it. I’ve since blended: •… Read more

Ice (it yelled) • A shoe (not recommended) • Some strawberries (very good) • A spoon (it lost) Also, I forgot to put the lid on once and it decorated my entire kitchen in blueberry. My wall now looks like a smoothie crime scene. Anyway, I use it every day now. I’ve had six smoothies, one milkshake, and an accidental gazpacho. My teeth are getting a break and I feel powerful. Would give 6 stars if it had a mute button.

NutriBullet suggests to check the box contents prior to purchase as they are not consistent with their contents – Read the box contents prior to purchase. Nutribullet is available at David Jones $84.00 without To Go Lid. Kmart it’s $69.00 with To Go Lid. When I contacted NutriBullet Customer Service about the missing lid in my David Jones Purchase they emailed me to read the box contents next time. NO WAY WILL THERE BE a ‘NEXT TIME’‼️‼️‼️ Show details

Not worth it – Burnt two just over a year of use. Out of warranty. Doesn't like to blend congee. Three point fix gets stuck on the machine and you'll end up with a mess if you're not careful taking it apart. The blades get blunt after six months of use. Food smells burnt sometimes after use. Show details

Great Blend – I love this cheap blender. It has helped me to lose a bit of weight with some delicious smoothies that I can make instead of eating other things for breakfast. I just destroys everything you put it in. Its very easy to clean, the only one bad thing about it, it is quite loud to use Show details

8 years! And still going strong! – I bought 2 NutriBullets at the same time. Gave one to my daughter. It lasted 2 years. Her teenagers wrecked it by running until the motor was hot. And destroyed the cups by using them to switch on an off Mine is still going strong after 8 years of almost daily use. I’m vegan so make green juices, nut creams, and nut milks. It makes excellent nut… Read more

creams and milks BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT NEVER EVER run the motor for more than 30 seconds without giving it a cool down break. Repeat in cycles - 30 seconds-cool down! I believe this is why my motor has lasted so long. I only have two negatives: Thw cup design is flawed. Three tiny jutting out plastic pieces apply pressure and engage the motor. No matter how gentle you are, they BREAK OFF REALLY EASILY. Then the motor wont work!!! Annoying that the cup design is what can bring the NutriBullet to a grinding halt - pun not intended lol. Also the seal wears, causing liquids to leak out while blending. NutriBullet do not supply replacement seals. And it is not possible to buy single genuine product replacement seals To improve their product NutriBullet could strengthen the cup design AND include one spare seal in the box. Spare parts are readily available from NutriBullet, but they + postage are imo a bit too expensive and they do not sell spare seals. You have to buy a new entire blade/seal component. Environmentally unsound much! A ‘Deluxe upgrade set’ of cups and blade/seal unit is available from major electrical stores for $49., but annoying if all you need is one seal or one cup. All in all a fantastic product that can do much of what any high speed blender can offer - as long as you are patient and willing to get there in 30 second + cool down time increments, and don’t want hot soups etc. I highly recommend NutriBullet for the single person or couple on a budget that won’t stretch as far as say Vitamix etc

Hygiene nightmares black mildue – I had one, and many of my friends and family still use them. Black mould grows under gasket in the base and lids. I noticed the black specks in a malt shake which only had white coloured ingredients. Little flecks of black in my drink. On closer inspection, the gasket allows the liquids to go under the gasket.. after a short amount of time… Read more

this liquid turns into black slime. Most likely very poisonous.

Everyone thinks it's a sealed blade base, it's not.

Everytime I've taken out the gaskets on other people's Nutribullets, same thing.. disgusting, bad and thoughtless design.

Also, removing the gasket is difficult and often causes the hard plastic, of the blade base, to become easily damaged.

These blenders are not fit for food.

Search online for the injuries being caused to people when these blenders explode.. horrible!

The manufacturer of this product should be ashamed of themselves, they need to go stand in the corner and have a good hard think about what they've done wrong with this.

Life changing gadget – I bought my NutriBullet shortly after they were becoming popular in Australia, and I paid a LOT for mine, I got it off an infomercial and it came with a free set of frypans and saucepans! Needless to say, the NutriBullet has outlived my frypans! This gadget is amazing. I use it for so many things not just juicing. When making juices it… Read more

obviously keeps the pulp in the drink, which I love because it adds the fibre plus the juice, which is healthier than just having juice. And more filling.

I used to make a green juice every morning, and that would be my breakfast. the options are endless - look up recipes online, or have a go at making your own up!

I use this for making almond flour - it grinds almonds to a powder so easily. Add a bit of olive oil and you can make your own almond butter!

Blitz up eggs for a smooth scrambled egg mixture.

this machine crushes ice easily.

The only downfall is that the little knobs on the cup that is needed to press into the machine and activate the machine to grind - broke off my cups within a year, and I had to buy replacement cups. Also if you don’t wash and dry the blades they rust underneath, and this caused rust to go inside my drinks - I bought a new blade and haven’t had that issue.

If you don’t tighten the cup enough and it comes loose while you’re blending, it’s difficult to clean the base of the machine properly.

Despite all of this, I love my

NutriBullet, and when it breaks eventually, I will definitely buy a newer higher powered one!

Perfect I have had this product for 10 to 15 years – This is a fantastic blender. I do not use it every day but at least a couple of times each week since I purchased it from the days when it was sold on TV. It has never missed a beat. I make icing sugar from granulated sugar along with smoothies with ice chunks. Highly recommended Show details

Wow! This blender is amazing! – This is so much better than my old blender and much easier to clean - just some hot water and scrub! :) It was on sale at big w and I'm so happy I purchased it, trust me, it's worth the money. I made a smoothie with frozen berries which blended super quickly and easily. If you're considering it just go for it there's nothing I have found that's a problem. Show details

Rubbish - cannot make it seal – I have had this item for two years. Have always had problems with the extremely poor design of the seal for the cup. It usually takes several attempts to make a seal that does not leak. Buying replacement parts is very difficult. Just bought another two seals and a base that were a waste of money. The machine is now making its way to the rubbish tip. Looking for a replacement brand. Show details

Defective design – I bought my NutriBullet 600 on 9th December 2020. Even on initial purchase I commented that I bet the thin, brittle locking lugs on the base would break before the motor gave out. By March 2022 all 3 lugs had worn and snapped off one by one. The product itself works fine, however, the pathetic and incompetent (or deliberate?) design of the… Read more

locating lugs means that it would be a minor miracle for your product to last much longer than the 12 month warranty. It’s a shame as I really like the product and it would have taken minutes of design work and a fraction of a cent to increase the strength of the locking lugs. A schoolboy could point this obvious design flaw out. Look briefly and you will see. Unless the morons who designed this product have decided to fix the issue. I doubt it. I will add that I found it possible to purchase replacement components at reasonable prices. It’s just a shame that the original has such an obvious and easily fixable flaw.

Rusty – The nut/bearing under blade became rusty and the milk shakes are contaminated with rust each time the blender is used. No matter how much you clean with a cloth it still adds rust to the food and you can clearly see it. Show details

Great counter top blender – Blender base is small enough to remain on the counter all the time which encourages me to use it more. The base doesn't have much grip so there is some movement when using. It is also quite a loud machine and therefore difficult to use in the morning if there are other people sleeping in the house. Otherwise great blender that gets the job done. Show details

It's pretty good! – It's not bad. Had it since it was only sold on TV shop and not in stores. Used it a few times a week since then. I do find it quite noisy, but it blends excellently. Parts are a bit flimsy, but not bad for like 8 years. I'm always nervous when I use it though, mostly because of the stories I've heard of them exploding. But either than that it's great  Show details

Loved It made Morning Smoothie Easy as Pie – The machine has incredible blending ability and literally was able to transform any cold fruit into a liquid form in just under 60 seconds. I am very happy about the product and I use it every day. Soo far this blender has worked magnificently with all the food i have put in even almonds!!! I just dislike the loud noise it makes. Show details

Bad quality parts non durable – Within 2 weeks I’d needed a new rubber ring gasket and also the bearings of extractor blade needed replacing very soon after. Gasket rubber ring: The original gasket was loose to start with so when placing it on container the seal ring moved out of groove (hard to see) then it was mangled when I it turned on. I replaced it via ebay seller not… Read more

original much better and snugger fit Ebay $5

Extractor blade - Bearings: Whilst blending cauliflower, bits caught under the blade, which puts the motor under strain, and rotation stops, you hear it straining. After which each use it becomes louder and louder, in fact it’s deafening, brown powder appears underneath and then leaks. The bearings are shot and need replacing. New blade extractors $20 - $25

Wouldn’t buy one again. I’d owned a no name brand for $40 it lasted years. I am appalled at the quality of parts and bulkiness as a comparison.

Design fault – Makes a good smoothie BUT the rubber gasket on the blade assembly falls off every time you unscrew the blade assembly from the cup (from day 1). Replacement blade assembly was sent to me under warranty and the rubber gasket also falls off every time you unscrew the blade assembly from the cup! Show details

Was great until poor quality showed – I bought this and it was definitely great to begin with but after just less than a year of using it 5 times a week the plastic that holds the cup down broke. Yes I lost my receipt but even though it’s clearly a poor quality issue nutribullet won’t rectify the issue. My recommendation is get a ninja, the quality is much sturdier. Show details

Good For 1 Year – My smoothies are always choccas full of vegetables, frozen spinach (250g) and fruits and other vegetables. The Nutribullet does a good job making a smooth creamy consistency. But after a year of constant use, i've replaced 4 cups and 2 extractor blades. The 3 piece locking part on the cup always breaks off after a few months and the blades on the… Read more

extractor blade comes loose and won't blend after 6 months. Also the extractor blade starts to leak a black liquid, like people have mentioned. I've now switched to the Optimum 9200a, and I'm confident it will outlast and outperform the Nutribullet.

Love it – I use my Nutribullet all the time. I love making smoothies in it but I would like thinks like pips etc to be blended a bit better other than that it's pretty good. I also use it to make baby food and apple etc. My daughter loved it that much she bought one. Its awesome also for smoothies with ice in them it crushes the ice to perfection.  Show details

Works like a treat – I recently purchased the 600. It was fairly cheap to purchase. It works so much better than the rip off blender I used to have and is easy to clean too. I haven't had it for too long so cannot comment on the wear and tear but i am happy with how it works so far. Show details

Excellent if you are a smoothie drinker – My husband brought this home one day and I thought he had wasted our money, except I got really into morning protein smoothies from then on and it got plenty of use. The little plastic bits that are on the cups broke off so we have to use a knife to press down to start the machine. The actual machine itself is going strong after 3 years- almost daily use! Show details
