What size is the filter? – Great entry level product to start drinking cleaner water, saving money & reducing plastic (arguably better than soon the bigger brands too) You can tell it’s working because you will no longer have those dry white spots on glasses after your drinking glass has dried out. My only criticism or question is what size is the filter? Normally filters are measured in Microns, however there is no explanation on the packaging nor the website. Show reply

Doesn’t tell you what size filter (how fine or wide in microns) that they use. And the water filters through fast, so not sure throughly it’s removed any impurities. Show details

Don’t waste your money! – I don’t feel the Kmart filters are as good as the brita ones. The water tastes better with the brita filters. Don’t waste your money on the Kmart ones! Show details

Leaks from the top cartridge – If you fill the top cartridge to almost full and attempt to pour after it no longer filters (when the water level is up to the filter), the water from top cartridge leaks out. The only way around this is fill the top cartridge only partially so all the water in top cartridge is filtered before pouring… it’s quite annoying… Show details

Not effective – I live in an area with highly chlorinated water and can still taste the chlorine after it passes through the filter. You can’t add more water in the top reservoir (to chill while you are drinking the ‘filtered’ part) as it leaks out through the top when you pour so you end up with a glass of mixed filtered and unfiltered water. My husband dropped… Read more

the lid (onto a wooden floor) and the spout cover just snapped off.

Mine looks a little different from the picture so not sure if updated model (same design but mine is not blue)

Idk if it works – I still use it for drinking and refilling my aquarium anyway. Eventually I'll do some sort of chemical test. Show details

Not sure about filters – Water goes through filter so fast it cannot be working thoroughly - there is an aftertaste in the water too! Will not use as it tastes better straight from tap! Not good!

What the…….! Cannot get the lid on – Tried over and over to get lid on top of the Anko water filter. So annoying. Will be returning this product.

Yes it fits the comparable brita jug well enough but I’m not impressed with the taste of the water – Ease of use in the universality of size and shape so the filters do fit the brita jug Show details

Bought a year ago and love it – I had been using Brita filters in their jugs for ages but the jugs don’t last forever, so switched to KMart when I saw they had what looked like a nearly identical product for much less. 1. The filters seem to last longer than Brita ..they say they might last twice as long, probably depends on starting water quality. 2. There’s a neat little… Read more ·  3

rubber/nylon seal in the base which stops it sliding about on the bench (OTOH it comes out easily and is quite difficult to put back in… I’m contemplating glue) 3. The water tastes great… no chemicals detectable. 4. Same process for preparation to use, as Brita (i.e; soak first, then discard first 2 jugs full)

I’m currently just drinking tap water, because (probably due to supply chain issues) I’m unable to get replacement filters right at the moment (Covid, arghhh) Can’t wait to get back to super clean water again.

Amazing value & works great! – Since my tap water has started tasting of chlorine a few months ago i decided to shop around for a water filter jug & found this at Kmart for just $15! I was a little skeptical about what the quality would be like because most brand name jugs start around the $40 mark. For the price, what did i have to lose right? But it works so well i cannot… Read more

taste even a small bit of chlorine or any other chemical/sediment in my tap water, very happy with this great product!. I would've given it 5 stars except for it doesn't have a contour grip handle which would help in holding it while pouring, also i dropped the lid & a little bit of plastic broke off so maybe could be a bit stonger made.
