Stylish fan with great performance & price – Great fan that works well & looks good for an affordable price. Excellent output, it’s easily enough for our open plan lounge & dining area. I don’t think any performance has been sacrificed being designed to look better than most pedestal fans. The noise is fine for me, I like the controls being on the back & that it oscillates-a lot of other more expensive fans I looked at don’t for some reason. I think the weight is good-it won’t fall over & doesn’t feel wobbly or flimsy like other 4 footed, plastic blade fans I’ve had in the past. I found assembly easy, and this fan takes up much less space than a tripod or fan with 4 feet. I have a copper tripod fan I bought at Kmart 3 years ago & it is still going strong so I felt confident buying two of these (I got a similar one at Bunnings that died literally 1 week after the 12 month warranty ran out!) If I have any problems that some other reviews mention, I’ll return it-Kmart have a good returns policy too.

Don’t buy it – Bought around September, very fiddly to assemble, side knob that controls up/down tilt continuously leaks oil onto base, fan overheats and makes loud vibrating hum near motor. Have barely used it during November but with weather heating up, it’s just not reliable. Will be returning it once I look through my mountain of KMart receipts to find it. Disappointed. Was hoping to have it for a while.

Sturdy, powerful and stylish – Had this fan for over 3 years, quite stylish and very good airflow, in 30C head still provides nice airflow to cool. Sure it's heavy, but it's sturdy which is a huge positive. After few years the cage protection bit rusted. I'd buy it again definitely, which is how I got this webpage, have been looking for this model to purchase.

Its ok – This fan is attractive and works well. Its controls are up the top rather than on the pole which makes it handy. It's drawbacks are that its rather heavy to move about and its also quite loud. Still its good value.
