I purchased one of these vacs from KMart 5-8 years ago for $39 and it has been brilliant! Unfortunately I left it in the carport and a critter chewed the power cord rendering it unsafe. Because it is a retractor cord, cutting it off and refitting a plug wasn't practical so I went back to KMart and found the same vac (white not black this time) and it was still only $49 !!!!! Well done KMart! I am one really happy customer. Show details · 2
I'm not going to lie, I thought this would be a pretty average vacuum. I was pleasantly surprised. I have hard floors as well as rugs and a cat. The vast majority of fur came out of the rugs with regular vacuuming, fine details I just removed the rod and used the hose on its own but it was no hassle. Quick and easy. Great suction. It's light… Read more · 1
weight, easy to manoeuvre, and simple to pull apart to empty and clean.
For 49 bucks, I'm impressed. Definitely recommend.
This is a fantastic vacuum for $49, the suction is as good as much more expensive ones. This is my 2nd purchase of this vacuum, the first was still working fine after 7 years, the felt had just worn off the underside of the brush so maybe Kmart could look into selling handles separately. I vacuum every day (dog) and it's great for doing the house… Read more · 1
and car, it's so easy to empty with no bag. Don't waste money on more expensive ones, this is a great purchase.
Amazing vacuum it's like a turbo vacuum the suction is so strong you can see the carpet pulling away from the floor, you only have to go over the carpet once, highly recommend it , the only thing is you might need a extension cord because the cord is short, and it's under $50.., I just use the vacuum just now it under warranty as well . I am surprised to see negative reviews, I have been using it for 3 months, carpets and tiled floor. Light in weight, powerful suction, easy to clean. I am one person household and do not have a lot of things, but somehow when I empty the bagless container, there is a lot of dust collected, this is the indication that it really picks up dust. Just remember to book replacement filter every 6 months as per instruction. Show details · 1
It is cheap. It has great suction until you attach the poles and the cleaning head and then it sucks up absolutely nothing. The hose is so flimsy it kinks repeatedly. The cord is incredibly short will only do small areas. Cannot vacuum my bedroom without finding a new plug to plug it into - the power cord is short. Not worth the very cheap price as it doesn’t really work and it will be broken in weeks. I’m returning mine. Show details
With just one change things could be so much better – I tried this Vacuum cleaner today and well, it does pick up okay but sometimes I need to have more than 1 or 2 passes to pickup some small things on carpet. Still 150% better than the Black and Decker cordless I regret buying every day of my life. The Kmart Anko is all plastic so that in itself tells you cheap and at $49 I suppose it is for a… Read more
vacuum. The biggest problem with me was the vacuum head that grabs onto the carpet as your trying to vacuum, and it all comes down to where the wheels are positioned. Having the wheels at the back of the vacuum head means you need to lower the vacuum rod to tilt up the front of the head, easy if your under 5' 2" tall (157.48cm) but to get the same result at 5' 11" (180.34cm) means you have to lower your arm too far to get the same result. There is cheap vacuum heads with wheels under each side of vacuum head that works so much better. Quality control is non existent at Kmart, so because Kmart buys and never tries, it's up to us the customer to weed out their mistakes. Better vacuum head and this 2 star review could of been a 4. Keep trying Kmart you'll get it right one day.
