Not really worth it! – Low noise but low reach. Having the fan on high is like my normal fan on low medium.

anko ceramic heater malfunction short life – I purchased this this anko ceramic heater model abh100 only two months ago. I only used it some cold nights only few minutes before falling asleep. Now it is malfunctioning no heat only cold air and stop at 20 degrees. My old heathers after 5 years still working. Unfortunately. Kmart products to my experience are low quality and waste of money.… Read more

What is this… a fan for ANTS – I was told it was better than the [Brand Removed]. Well let me tell you it was ferkin rubbish. Laying in bed I can only just feel the air by a bees [Content Removed] on my Shins and that’s with it right in front of me while my partner in the bed next to me is burning up in hell. Show details

Light turns on and off continuously – Absolute rubbish product. The light turns on and off by itself omitting a loud beep every time. Ive tried turning it on via the unit rather than the remote to see if the problem stops but it makes no difference. Also the "2" hour timer setting doesn't work. After 3 faulty products, (food processor, electric fry pan and this now this fan) Anko is… Read more

Great bladeless fan – I rather like this fan. I use it beside my bed at night, keeps me quite cool and isn't too noisy. I've had it about a year & has recently made a squeaky sound when it gets to a certain spot on rotation. Might have to spray with WD40, but am concerned with it eating the plastic, so will maybe just put up with it. Show reply

All style and no substance – It's the output. Even on maximum speed you can barely feel it. It looks good but it does nothing. Extremely useless for the outback where I live. I'd stick to the $10 pedestal fans. I also tried to leave a review on the kmart page but it doesn't let you. Show details

I am in love! Lovely white noise and great airflow! – I read all the reviews before buying but decided to bite the bullet anyway. This fan is great!! I think the other reviews might be for a previous model though. Mine is the new one that is in kmart August 2023. So.. it does make that fan white noise which I was hoping for. I love that for sleeping because it masks all the other busy city sounds. … Read more ·  1

The air flow on this fan is excellent! I previously had a very noisy black kmart pedestal fan and it was quite powerful. This one is putting out more air with a much nicer, quieter, even white noise sound.

Best of all, it is going to be so much easier to clean than the pedestal fan.

I used a smaller dyson bladeless fan at an airbnb once and this is better than that! This one doesn't heat, of course, but that's not what I buy a fan for anyway.

I am honestly starting to think that the airbnb dyson must have had something wrong with it because this fan is so much better! I'm not anti dyson either. I love my cordless stick vacuum.

Very happy customer here. The only remaining thing to be seen is how long this fan will survive. If it fries itself in within a year or two I will be very disappointed. I will update if it does but that will be a while coming.

Just go get it unless you want a silent fan. The low setting on this is fairly quiet and puts out more air than the usual low setting on a pedestal fan in my opinion. I think this will be excellent for the Queensland summer!

This fan is useless – The only thing good about this fan is the light. The output of the fan itself is just very poor. Even at high speed it barely puts out much at all. I’d get more out of waving a piece of paper in front of my face. I would have left this review on the Kmart website but there’s no option to leave a review. The reviews on there for this fan have got… Read more

to be fake cause they are all 5 stars and say it’s great. Don’t waste your money on this fan. I have another Kmart pedestal fan and it works great although a little noisy but I’m use to it.

Not bad for a $79 bladeless fan! – Yes. As many other posters suggested this fan’s noise level may not be suitable for everyone. However the overall built quality and functionality is excellent, considering the price of the product is at least 1/5 of the Dyson’s equivalent. The fan itself feels sturdy and with sufficient blowing air for my own use in my bedroom. The touch /… Read more ·  1

remote control itself are also very sensible and well calibrated.

If you are looking for a bladeless fan in the market then I would highly suggest this ANKO 85cm unit as the overall design, functionality is by far the best bang for the buck.

Note I am not comparing this against the traditional blade fans so I am aware of the noice level posed by this bladeless design.

Pretty good at 1/10th the cost of Dyson – I have 2 Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool fans which are fantastic, so I knew exactly what I was opting for when I bought this Anko fan. As expected at 1/10th the price of a Dyson, the Anko model is far less sophisticated and lacks the multiple speed options, customisable swivel angles, HEPA filter, heat option, WiFi connectivity, customisable… Read more

scheduling, on board display, and quietness.

My requirements were simple: a stable pedestal fan under $100 that came with a remote control and offered at least 3 speeds, a swivel option, and a timer. That the Anko has a light and is bladeless, making it easy to clean, were bonuses.

It is noisy at 50 dB compared to Dyson’s 30 dB, and similar to the Dyson at higher settings. However I don’t mind this white noise, which is similar in dB to being in an airplane cabin.

I also prefer the rather diffuse breeze it produces which is a little like the Dyson, rather than the “standing in a wind tunnel” effect produced by powerful fans.

In summary, if you must have a powerful breeze, get a regular fan. If quietness is top priority, shell out for a Dyson.

Noisy – Blows air fine. Although at 50db (compared to 30db reported by Choice on the equivalent Dyson) on the lowest power setting it’s not going to work for a bed room fan as intended. I’ll be returning it and forking out for the Dyson. Show details

Very Noisy – While the airflow was good, it was incredibly noisy - which is not ideal when it was intended to be used in my bedroom. After one night using it, I returned it and got a full refund. It would be fine for the day time and when not trying to sleep. Show details

Works well – I think that for this device it is important to consider it in comparison to its direct competitors rather than bladed fans. I have the Dyson Pure Cool Me so that is my point of comparison. The Kmart fan has pretty good air flow with 3 settings (which are probably equivalent to levels 3, 5 & 7 (of 10) on the Dyson) a remote control, a timer,… Read more

rotation and a light, which is a nice feature . It doesn't have a HEPA filter, vertical adjustment, and is as noisy on 1, as the Dyson is on 5 or 6, and when on 3 maybe comparable to an 8 on the Dyson. To be honest though I kinda like the white noise sort of sound it creates and don't find it intrusive especially in the corner of the room.

I still prefer the Dyson for my bedroom because I need the vertical adjustment, use it on the lower setting, and bought it for the filter, but at the price this Kmart fan is still a good buy.

Don't waste your money – What a waste of money. A $12 Kmart special fan would do the same job as this one. This fan is very noisy and wouldn't cool a dog kennel down.  Show details

Just ok – Works ok. The remote control is great to have. It circulates the air well but is so noisy - even on speed one. Too loud for the bedroom that’s for sure.  Show details
