shirt. If I put it back on the base, it heats up in seconds. Doesn't take long. Steam function is great. Plenty of steam if needed. The spray is actually good too... and nice mist. Build quality is 10 out of 10. The coating on the base is great, I've had other irons where the base burns or gets sticky. Never had that problem with this one. When I've forgotten to turn the iron off, it has an automatic safety feature that turns the iron off. Very good.

I highly recommend this iron. If it stopped working (don't see that happening) I would buy it again for sure.

Hardly any steam. Not good – After having my last Kogan cordless iron for 5 yrs, when it died on me I thought this Kmart one would do the job. Boy, was I wrong. From the first time I turned it on, it never or hardly ever had any steam power at all. Only time was when I used the steam surge button. Waste of money don’t buy! – I don’t know how Kmarts website has so many good reviews for this iron steamer, it’s a piece junk. Don’t waste your time & money. First use it didn’t get rid of any wrinkles on the finest fabric & it sprayed water onto the garment & worse, it had brown water dribbling out of it!! ( I put filtered water into the unit) I will be returning this pronto, so glad I tested it before using it on a wedding dress !!!!

Anko cordless steam iron doesn't hold heat – I've had a cordless iron before so thought knew what to expect. However expectations were not met as the Anko cordless steam iron from K-Mart (Australia) does not hold the heat at all once off the dock. One puff of steam then the iron cooled very rapidly. Not good at all – Agreed, iron cools off too quickly to iron out wrinkles etc, needs more constant heat, if you have to keep putting it back on the dock it kinda defeats the purpose of being cordless...not well designed. Also settings knob is too hard to operate, poorly designed and placement of position & hard to turn. Bought from Target who only had 2 models in stock! Show details

Not hot enough for my liking – Unfortunately, I’ll be taking this iron back for a refund. In my opinion doesn’t get hot enough to iron out creases efficiently. Anko cordless steam iron – Dreadful purchase. Cumbersome to use and doesn’t hold its charge for long enough to iron a single item. Water competent so difficult to open I’m sure the lid won’t last long. Waste of time and money. Show details

Terrible iron! – This is the worst iron I have ever had, has to go on stand to recharge, doesn’t hold its charge and is not good with certain fabrics they stick to the iron! It is bulky on ironing board, will never purchase another cordless iron! Show details

other being used. Buying 2 cost me the same amount as my original iron. Sadly that is when my problems started. I must have been lucky with my 1st purchase. Fired up the 2nd one - no blue light indicator. It worked well, but that indicator is very useful. Returned, exchanged. Now the 2nd one spits water out of the top where it shouldn’t (near the pointy part) and drenches whatever I’m ironing. So frustrating and I haven’t even filled the tank up to the maximum water level. I will be returning for an exchange and hoping to be 3d time lucky. The convenience of cordless ironing is great though and I’m thrilled with my first one.

14 May update - I exchanged and this time it seems to work perfectly. Hooray. At least KMart are very good about exchanges.

Water tank inlet can't be open easily – Very bad when opening the water tank inlet cap. It was a struggle and i finally broke the water tank and whole iran was wasted. Can't believe it, how could they make bad this water inlet cap.

Disappointing product – Purchased this iron as it seemed to have everything I needed and the price was good. However it is very disappointing and very frustrating as this iron leaks when using the steam. The water reservoir lid has been badly designed, it is closing downwards instead of upwards. The other thing is that the heat does not stay long enough to finish properly the larger garments, I have to reheat the iron in the power base very often. This takes much longer to finish ironing. The last thing is the steam setting button, which is hard to press. Overall very disappointing product.
