Had doubts I was wrong – There's many different types of air purifiers out there and this one caught my eye with design but I hoped it could do a decent job and not be some useless item, well my musty spare room and anywhere it smells it really does zapp the smell away, Oh yes don't forget to open up the bottom and take out the filter from the disposable plastic bag lol The filter looks strong and professional, something I'd find in a big truck air filter tube, amazing design and honestly it does freshen up the room by removing smells, my only let-down is it should of had a air quality readout but it does have a light that will come on when the filter is at its end, apparently around 8 to 12 months and can be cleaned as well, has a timer and 3 speed and is energy efficient otherwise most impressive machine.

No replacement filters – Ordered replacement filters advertised online refund issued 24hrs later advised no stock. When will an equivalent replacement be available? Why sell a product requiring filters if you don’t plan to stock filters?

Works great...until you need a replacement filter – No choice but to refund this product as they never carry the replacement filters and can offer no advice as to any alternative, what a joke.

It significantly reduces pet dander and other allergens around the home – I bought this Anko air purifier from Kmart as it was the most affordable option for its size. It has 3 speeds, a timer that can do 2, 4 or 8 hours auto-off and a filter replacement indicator. Has activated charcoal (odour neutralising) HEPA filter. My dog sleeps inside at night, either on my bed or on the couch out in the lounge room; usually I’d wake up with a blocked nose and itchy throat, but ever since I bought this air purifier my airways have been completely clear when I wake up!
I’m asthmatic and I can tell if a room is too dusty or if pets have been around as it becomes hard to breathe. Again, since the air purifier I’ve noticed it’s become much easier to breathe in my home and I’m not relying on Ventolin puffers as much.
It’s been an absolute game changer for me! I’ve not had to change my filter yet, but I do tap it out every few weeks or so outside, just to keep it running efficiently.
EDIT November 2024 - still going, replaced the filter after a year (with maintenance of the original filter throughout)
EDIT April 2026 - still works, my sister now has it (I upgraded to a slightly fancier one), she says it really helps with hayfever, although replacement filters are now only on sale intermittently through the Kmart website or app.
