Only had it two months - bottle locking teeth broke and it went up in smoke – Bought it January to make brekkie smoothies (avocado, fruits, seeds (no ice)--> creamy consistency). First the locking teeth of the bottle broke off, then motor stopped and smoke came out. Show details

Great value for the money – My old food processor (with blender attachment died) so I needed a new blender for fruit smoothies and protein shakes that I make on a near daily basis. I read the reviews (here) and getting mostly 4 out of 5, and the price point being $15, I decided to give it a shot. As of today (10 April 2016), Kmart also has the 2 extra bottles on clearance… Read more
for $5 (instead of the normal $8). I spent a total of $20 for the blender and 3 total bottles.
*Be aware that Kmart gets returns and will some times put them back on the shelf... Since the boxes were open, I had a good look inside and made sure that everything looked "new" (no cracks, good rubber seal, etc).
After getting it home, I threw in frozen strawberries (I keep in the freezer), pineapple, apple, pear, banana and watermelon. Fruit went in about 2/3 and I put in a 1/2 cup of filtered water and squeezed a bit of lime. Not having any "setting" I pushed the single button for 10 secs a couple of times and the end result was no different than my other larger blender. Even with the fibrous pineapple and the frozen strawberries (these were small ones), it did a really good (considering it's cost and size). I made 2 bottles worth of drinks for me and my partner and there were no surprises.
For $20, if the motor lasts for 2-3 months, and keeps working like it did today, I will be very pleased.
The plastic bottles (having paid $2.50 each for the extras) are really nice.
I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a simple drink maker that doesn't require a lot of power. Slim profile, easy single button, easy to wash, cheap and the cost of 2 extra bottles are crazy-cheap.
If you want to eat nuts... chew them ;) – Yep, this $15 job from Kmart does me well at work for a refreshing smoothie for lunch without bogging me down in the heat. I don't go (or need) overboard with ingredient i.e. kale, diet powders etc. Just plain sugar free Greek yoghurt, frozen raspberries, a heaped teaspoon of psyllium husk, dash of milk, a banana and top up with water. Blend it… Read more
for 60 secs and presto... a delicious fibre filled and healthy nutritious cooling smoko or lunch to get through the afternoon.
I have one at home for my son too so he can add extra cocoa to his shakes. Easy to clean (except for the seal around the base) but of little hindrance.
If you do want the nuts etc. in your drink, unfortunately you'll be better off to just eat them like normal or fork out for various already ground mixtures such as LSA (linseed, sunflower, almond) . The vessel is just the right size for one serve but for $6 you can purchase the BPA free spares in a 2 pack. Don't, however, purchase a unit or spare vessels if they're the coloured variety. They're the ones with BPA in them... If that concerns you? The clear ones with a yellow lid actually say on the packaging "BPA free".
All in all, highly recommend them and for the price, hey, if it lasts 6months who cares eh? The more expensive versions crap out just as often anyway and consumer rights laws agree with Kmart's return policy... They'll not hesitate to exchange it. Don't forget your consumer rights peeps!
Cheap/Awesome/Does the job/Stackable/Easy clean/Love it – 250 Watt motor, $15 for base and drink bottle, $8 for extra 2 bottles. Comes in a choice of blue or green colour. After much research, I decided to buy this blender for soft fruits, semi hard fruits, frozen berries, protein shake, thick shake (with ice cream) blending. This does not work for kale, beetroot, carrot, brocolli, ginger juicing. For… Read more
these, use the Breville Commercial Fountain Juicer to spit out the pulp, especially for Kale, it makes the juice slimy, eeeewww. Don't even think of buying the 250 watt Magic Bullet for $120, it's pretty bad lol, even though they claim it does the job, it really doesn't LOL. So ok, after buying the base and the drink bottle that comes with it, I decided to buy another 4 bottles just to blend fruits and stick it in the fridge. I have cold shakes every day now LOL. I stack it
in the fridge like beer bottles LOL. The bottles has a flat surface side to prevent it from rolling. The Kambrook and the George Foreman also does the job but then why pay more when you can get this cheap Kmart one? I have notice that the blade attachment has this small arrow that you need to line with the arrow in the base and really click the bottle in. If it does not click, it won't blend or it will blend and then just suddenly stop. I thought I had a faulty one and was about to return the unit until I discovered that LOL. And also, add a bit of water/juice/milk/FLUID to allow the contents to move around the bottle. Pretty happy with it eh? Nothing bad so far. Oh yeah, common sense here, chop semi hard fruits to help the small little unit to blend it. Managed to convince my co-workers to buy it and now we are a healthy little bunch LOL.

Does the job – It is a great blender for the price. Works well to blend fruit, veges and ice. Easy to operate and wash. If you need anything more than that, definitely go for other blenders. It is more than enough to cater simple needs. I have been using it for half a year now without issues. It is still going strong. Great value! Show details
Best Buy – bought this two weeks ago, I've only used it three times, but it's been amazing. so easy to use and perfect for making smoothies for just two people. I think if you're putting solids, better to cut them up to smaller pieces, and add enough water so the blades won't get stuck. I do worry sometimes that it can't handle too much, but it's survived three uses, so lets see. Show details
Great Everyday Blender – I bought one of these a few years ago and it lasted well and worked well - it even blended ice to a smooth crushed consistency which is more than it's marketed as capable of. Only problem was and still is with the latest version (which is lime green now, not yellow as before), sometimes your drink will overflow and it can get into the base motor… Read more
area which is a real hassle to clean. My old one died from that I believe. Still, a great product, compact, powerful and good value. I use it for protein shakes which I make using 1 scoop, a few ice cubes, a handful of frozen berries and a little water.

Broke down after 1 month – It broke down after 1 month, 5 uses. Also I used it to blend garlic and cannot get rid of the smell from the plastic bottle. Will never buy cheap appliances from Kmart again. Show details
You get what you pay for – Blends well for the price however, keep in mind is not suitable for too much ice, frozen berries or thick ingredients (not powerful enough). We have had two as first one broke from overuse! Blends soft foods well. Easy to use single button, single speed. Engine wears out easily. Show details
Ok for drinks, not food – This is really a drinks maker not a blender but that's OK I am more than happy with it for the upper cheap price. It comes with two drinks bottles that are actually the jug you do the blending in. Works great for soft fruit and milkshakes but that's as far as I would push it. It was only $15 Show details

Easy and Great Size – I purchased this blender from Kmart and at first thought it would be good to help blend protein powder with ice in the summer time, once i used it i found my self extremely surprised that the blades are quiet tough and strong. After that i started using my blender to make smoothies and blend frozen fruit and it did so with no shaking in between… Read more
blends, which i found sometimes in the past with other cheap blenders., For the price of $15 i highly recommend the blender. I can not fault it.
Great product with low price – The blending machine is small, but it can blend mangoes, berries and strawberries, banana and lemon with chopped kales etc well. And it’s a handy product, I can just blend the smoothies for one min then take it bottle with me, the the smoothies is very smooth. There is only one button to control, very easy to use. I have been using it for 4 years… Read more
and it’s still in good condition. I am not sure if it can blend any ice, because I never tried it. In summary, if you are only looking for blending some fruits yoghurt smoothies/ice cream or make milkshakes , it definitely good price to invest on.
Good price for a small blender – The blending quality of the machines is great for its size, but the downside is that some foods such as fruit that's put in it need to be cut up to fairly small pieces before it can blender evenly. The portability of this blender makes it worth its price. However, the long plastic bottle can become difficult to clean properly after too many uses. Show details
Blender buzz – My daughter received this as a gift and found it very easy to use and portable for travel. Nice colour of product so it looks good on display as well as making great smoothies. Show details
I love this! – I love my kmart blender, its perfect for shakes and even crushes ice unlike some other blenders. This is the second one I have had. The only downfall is I find the bottles are hard to clean and over time seem dirty around the bottom on the inside. Show details
Awesome!!! – I brought this blender in 2015 to make breakfast shakes and it is still working. Blades are strong and blend frozen fruit and ice perfectly for fruit smoothies. Highly recommended. Show details
Fun Little Blender – We used this quite a bit over summer - it's great for shakes and smoothies. It's designed with drinks in mind, not food, and the jug you blend in becomes a drink bottle with a pop lid. Its great and was extremely good value! Show details
Good for everyday use – I am quite satisfied with its performance even though it is cheap. It blends well with the protein shake that I drink everyday. This is more suited for soft foods and drinks. I do not use it with anything hard like ice. Show details
Go easy on this blender – This blender is suited more for watery soft foods and drinks, doesn't handle ice or break up things like spinach/kale well. The motor burnt out when a thick shake was being made so maybe the ice, ice cream and fruit was just too thick and frozen for it to handle. Convenient and cheap idea, just doesn't have enough power behind it to make it useful and last. Show details

Good price, great that you can get spare bottles – For the price, this works really well and it’s awesome that you can get individual bottles separately that you can use for normal drinking purposes. It blends well, even with a few ice cubes in it. I haven’t tried it with a lot of ice because I don’t think it’s designed for that. Useful machine. Show details
Good little drinks blender – This is a pretty awesome little smoothie and milkshake maker for the price in my opinion. If you want to crush nuts forget it but it spins up pretty fast (just not a whole lot of power behind it) and its more than enough for light duty like smoothies and milkshakes. Super value too Show details
The motor works pretty decent and it’s so convenient for a quick small blend – The motor works pretty decent and it’s so convenient for a quick small blend. Plus the price is not bad as we can use it for long time and no problem so far. Show details
Amazing blender for the price! – This blender is fantastic for only $15! We were looking at purchasing a name brand blender for $100+ but thought we would give this a shot first, expecting it to break soon after purchasing, but it has exceeded our expectations! Going on 5 months plus now and this little blender is great for fruit smoothies and smashes through frozen berries without any issues. Highly recommended if you like a smoothie on the go! Kids love this blender – It is priced like a toy ($15) but is a proper drink bottle style blender and works very well. The kids have had a ball making fruity drinks for it then chilling them for school (the jugs become drink bottles, I reckon is the best fun to dollar ratio I have seen in a while. Show details
Great Value – The price is pretty cheap and the quality is ok as you cannot expect too much with this price! It does the job and I usually use it twice a week maybe for a smoothie or milkshake, but i do not actually recommend you guys to blend ice as it does not work well, the machine’s sound is quite loud which sometimes annoys me, but everything is fine so far Show details
Fun little blender – Despite appearance and the very cheap price tag ($15) this is not atoy! The kids have had a lot of fun making "concoctions" with it and I am totally OK with that as they are mostly doing variations on fruit smoothies (with the occasional ice cream milkshake snuck in) It works well in this role and even comes with drink bottles. Money well spent – Bought this back in mid 2017, for 20$ , my intention was to use it for a day or two, however I have been using it ever since. the downside of this, if full filled it will leak. Show details
It’s okay for the price – It’s cheap. It works for a little while. If you want reliability, spend a little more and purchase anything else. The rubber ring always moves or deteriorates quickly and liquid spews out of the bottom and straight into the motor. ive bought about 8 of these over the past two years as they keep breaking. I’m cheap so I keep buying this silly… Read more
thing. Can’t be used with heat. it’s extremely loud. It doesn’t do well with ice or anything too chunky. Some of rubber things that spin the blades on the underside have melted off to nothing after trying to blend a smoothie with ice. It’s okay for the price. I should probably stop being cheap and actually purchase a decent one
