Kmart Anko Milk Frother SB-0802C1 Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: SB-0802C1I have lost the black whisk that I use to heat milk. Is it possible to buy a replacement one?
I hope KMart will let you and all of us know who want spare parts.
My milk frother is not frothing. The heating part is working but no frothing. Is the frother part supposed to spin? Can I test it with just water to see if it spins?
yes, the frother part is is supposed to spin. If is not, then it is broken. If it is, maybe just the spindle is spinning and you are missing the little wand? Did it go down the sink when you last washed it?
We recommend taking this back to the store so our team can make an assessment. If you'd like to discuss this further, please share your details here external link or call us on 1800 124 125.

Hi there! Your local store team can help advise you on this ; external link Thank you.
On 22 July 2022 I purchased an Anko Milk Frother from KMart in Palmerston North N.Z. It is great for frothing BUT when I heat Milk using the correct attachment, I continually get milk scorching in the bottom of the unit. I have tried various cleaning products but to no avail. I resorted to a scouring pad but only managed to scratch the bottom. It does a great job of heating the milk but I am concerned about the scorch marks. Am I in a position to be able to return it to KMart and obtain a refund as it appears it is a common problem? Thank you. Ro Newport, Whanganui N.Z.

Hi, I purchased an Anko Milk Frother SB-0802C1 nine days ago from K Hub in Portland, yesterday it stopped heating the milk, guessing I’ll have to return it to the store, although I didn’t keep the receipt (as I fully expected it to last at least a year) I do know the staff member that served me and have bank records, hopefully this will be enough to have it replaced for same unit
Hi Richard, we're truly sorry to hear this! We'd definitely recommend returning this to store - if you don't have the receipt, a bank statement showing the transaction can be used as a proof of purchase and our team should be able to assist. We've also shared your feedback with our Merchandise team to look into to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Thank you for your quick response, I will drop into my local Portland K Hub early next week, Regards Richard Clark
The exchange process at K Hub Portland was extremely easy, the staff (Rachel & Liso) were both very helpful and professional. While there, I used the time to purchase some additional clothing items. Again, thank you for all your assistance, I’m sure the replacement milk frother will be trouble free Regards Richard.
We're so glad to hear, Richard! Thank you for the lovely feedback, we've shared this with the Portland team. Let us know any time you need assistance and we'll be happy to help.
Hi, the Anko Milk Frother SB-0802C1 I received as a replacement from K Hub in Portland, has failed in exactly the same way as the first (Doesn’t heat the milk anymore) in less than a week. I feel this is either a bad batch of units or the quality just isn’t there, I guess I could exchange it again and hope for the best or just purchase another product elsewhere, it’s a little disappointing Regards Richard
After one use the frother /milk heater isn’t working at all, the on / off button flashes both red and green. Any suggestions? Or do I just have a dud? Thanks for any help
We are very sorry to hear this Jo, this is certainly not what we ever hope or expect and sincerely apologise for any disappointment caused. Would you please share your details via; external link . We will have a team member look into this further and reach out directly. Thank you very much.
Why is my milk cold? How do I change it to froth the milk hot?? Please help?
Why does my frother attachment only warm up the milk recently?
Why does my frother attachment only warm up the milk recently?
I have used my new milk frother three times since it arrived in the post. Each time it has frothed over. I made sure the milk was between the two lines. Can anything tell me if I am doing something wrong. It frothed up really well but it is annoying having an extra cleaning job every time I use it.
There are 2 different attachments that sit at the bottom of the chamber. The one that’s inserted when you buy it is the frother attachment, the one that’s connected to the inside of the lid is the heating attachment. Swap them over and it’ll work. It’s not in the manual - no idea why - so I found out the hard way. Mine was overflowing every single time no matter how much or how little milk and no matter how which setting I pushed the button for and I thought I HAVE to be missing something so I looked it over and over and pulled and prodded and found that the attachment that sits in the lid comes off! Once I switched them over, it heated milk up perfectly, no overflow. Make sure you rinse each and every time between uses and let the heating element cool down before adding more milk and switching it on again otherwise you’ll end up with a spot that just always ends up with burnt milk on it. Also learnt this the hard way :(
Thank you Jackie. I did as you suggested and it works perfectly.
Jackie S, thanks frother works fantastic now!
Hi After 4 times i used it dosent work any more, simms not energy
Not sure, I’d take it back but can’t find receipt
Id take it back and get a refund. Spend a bit more on a better one
kmart will give you store credit if you dont have reciept
Mine heats the milk does not froth and tastes revolting . Can you tell me why
Hi Linda It's not the machine it's the milk , they all have different fat contents ..Try a different type .Even when it's a few days old it tends to froth less.. Good luck ..
Bought my milk frother a week ago. Used three days and then it stopped working. Two days after it started working again. Worked two days and now it has stopped. Does anyone know why it is doing this? It’s just me doing something wrong or just the machine being really rubbish?
Anko milk frother (SB-0802C1) User Manual (page 2 - para 14) states "Risk of burns ! .........Hold the product only by the handle". Good idea/advice. Trouble is, the Anko frother I purchased today from my local K Mart ain't got no handle !! Can't find a website for the manufacturer or supplier. Or the person (lawyer?) who drafted the User Manual, so having a whinge here. If only to prove some people read user manuals !!
My further won't work
To be of any assistance, I'd need further information.
Bought the last one left in a Kmart and I suspect one stirrer may have been lost from the box along with any instructions. Can other owners confirm that this model comes with two stirrers - one with a circular spring and paddle, and the other with just a paddle?
Images and instructions for similar frothers often show two stirrers - one for froth and the other for simple stirring/heating. The little nipple under the lid fits the stirrer perfectly, suggesting this is where one could be stored while the other is in use.
