This K-Mart curling brush is dangerous. I have a bad burn on my forehead from using it. The problem is the side that doesn't have bristles, allowing the hot barrel to touch your skin. It should be withdrawn from sale.
Follow-up · My hair is short. I simply wanted to curl my fringe under. The wand is quick to heat, and has an on/off button. It hadn't been heating long when it burnt me.
