Solid, stylish, and so easy to assemble I’m really impressed with the Koala Brunswick Bed Base (Queen). It arrived quickly and the packaging was neat and minimal. Assembly was a breeze — no tools required, and the instructions were clear. It only took me around 15 minutes to set up on my own. The frame feels very sturdy and doesn’t creak at all,… Read more
even when moving around at night. The minimalist design suits my space perfectly, and I love the natural wood finish.
Overall, it’s a great combination of design, quality, and functionality. Highly recommend if you’re after a hassle-free and durable bed base.
I loved how easy the bed was to assemble. It made the whole experience very much stress free. The bed itself does not creak at all and I love how the wooden slats are straight and not curved, that was the stand out for me. I love the colour of the head board and it is very easy to clean. I’m obsessed :) Show details

Beautiful colour and easy to put together No creaks and squeaks Show details
Easy to assemble, looks good and is quite decent. Only downside is the head board is quite small (which they do have all that information online so that’s not their fault) but I chose the Lux Mattress which is quite tall Show details
So easy to build and looks great in my bedroom! Show details
Best bed base I’ve ever had! You can move around and there’s no squeaks, no slats cracking etc. You don’t feel the person next to you move all night either!!!
The bed itself gets 5 stars, comfy, looks good and very easy to assemble. The delivery experience was poor following a mistake on delivery address which was not rectified in time despite multiple calls. Koala did come back several weeks later to offer an apology, a refund and voucher which was greatly appreciated, but overall rating has been reduced due to the delivery challenges. Show details

We needed to update our spare room and this little bed frame did the trick. Compact, a great colour and perfect height. For a small room, the frame fits well without overwhelming the room. And so easy to put together! Show details
Cheap and wobbly – Well. I got sucked in with the online offer, the beautiful pics. Ive have this frame in a king now for 6 weeks or so, and I have a tempur mattress on top. I thought it would be a great match but I was so wrong. Firstly, this frame is so weak. Its cheap. It looks pretty but its cheap. The frame "locks" together but the screws for the fittings are… Read more
loose. The joints twist and move. The legs move. Im a professional Carpenter and I did tighten everything, but it still moves. The whole bed just wobbles and when my wife turns, the bed shifts from side to side with her. ITS LIKE A MINI EARTHQUAKE. Its shocking. Plus the materials are weak. I put my knee on the slatted underframe and it went straight through the timber supports. Im so disappointed. Looks pretty though. Think i'll put the mattress on the floor for now.
Koala was a wonderful company to deal with, professional and efficient. I ordered the Brunswick King single and found the bed to be extremely well made, great quality materials and easy to put together. Unfortunately for me the bed did not suit the decor of the room and I needed to return it. This was no problem for the Koala staff. The return… Read more
was organised quickly all I had to do was wrap the pieces in plastic and koala organized the rest. I received my refund in 4 working days. It was a delight to work with this company from the website to the staff, delivery and refund. I’m disappointed the bed was not suited to me, no fault of Koala of course. They were true to their worded policy. Thank you Koala I would not hesitate to use your products again one day. Great company
Great service. Superfast delivery. So easy to click into place. Solid and great quality. Very happy with my purchase Show details
The Koala Brunswick bed base is the second bed base we have bought from Koala, and we have also bought about 7 mattresses - for our main house and holiday house. All their products have been great quality (that's why we keep coming back)! Their mattresses are the most comfortable we have ever slept on, and the bed bases are sturdy, easy to… Read more
assemble, and look good. When friends and family stay - they always comment on how comfortable the beds are. Thanks Koala for making great products.
The easiest thing to put together. The longest part was removing it from the box. It’s very sturdy and looks pretty in my bedroom. Show details
Easy to build, looks good and is super comfortable! I recommend koala to everyone! Show details
Excellent packaging and instructions on self-assembly. Beautiful condition and furniture is as described and shown on the website. Unfortunately two of the bed legs (centre and right corner) have broken, seems the thread has become smooth and the screws on the leg won't grab anymore. I've been waiting for a few weeks for a response from someone at Koala on what our options are. Hoping for a response soon to sort this out. Show details
