I was abit reluctant on spending this much for a protector but have since purchased 2 more for the kids mattresses. Totally worth it and I love the fact that it covers both top and bottom and the top simple zips straight off.

We had some difficulty fitting the Deep Fit Great Barrier Mattress Protector on the Koala Plus Queen mattress. Definitely a two person job. Glad to know that when laundering we can just unzip the top part to wash, so much easier than having to refit the entire protector. Really happy with this mattress protector overall. It’s comfortable and doesn’t change the feel of the mattress, which is a big plus. It was a little tricky to put on at first, but once it’s on it fits really snug and stays in place much better than the usual elastic ones. Just make sure you’ve got it the right way around — the bumpy side should be on the underside.

I ordered the deep fit great barrier mattress protector for my koala luxe mattress. It washed really well and easily according to the tag directions. While a little bit of effort to initially zip it on/around the whole mattress I’m really happy with it. It fits well and is pretty easy now to just unzip and wash the top if needed. Show details

The Koala Deep Fit Mattress Cover feels well made and overall good quality. The material seems durable, and the fit is solid. However, it does retain heat and does not keep the body as cool during sleep, which is likely due to the waterproof layer. On the positive side, the top cover is easy to unzip and remove, making it convenient to wash and maintain.
