Poor customer service, and terrible quality monitor
I have had the monitor for just under a year and since the start I have had problems. The screen goes white and has a fuzzy sound then turns off and after a couple minutes it will turn back on. It does this numerous times a day. After a numerous different conversations with customer support I was just told everytime to either turn it off and on or to upgrade it. Neither made a difference. The buttons stop working and I have to take the battery out to turn it off so it can restart. The last conversation with customer service said that they will ...
Read morereplace the monitor but I haven't heard anything since and they will not respond to my emails and im afraid it will turn off during the night while my child is sleeping and I won't hear them wake. Disappointing
We were very excited to use this as it seemed the best on the market, but have been very disappointed.
It was relatively easy to set up, and the camera quality is great, but the battery only lasts a couple hours then the monitor beeps loudly that its low then will just cut out. I want to move my son to his own room but just dont feel comfortable as the monitor can't last the night.
We also took the device away with us and it couldn't connect via wifi, which was frustrating as this was a feature we were impressed with.
I do like how the camera can rotate and connect to our phone if needed, but what's the point of all the features if the device doesnt last more than a couple hours?
Purchased in June 2019 for $350.00.

Disappointing
Very disappointed with our purchase. We’ve had this monitor for 6 months and I fail to understand why something that is basically a video live stream from 10 metres away functions so poorly.
The video stream constantly times out or lapses, rendering the monitor useless whether on wifi or the units frequency. The motion and sound detection settings are so sensitive (or don’t work at all) that if turned on, you’ll receive motion alarms every minute.
If I had my time again I’d just buy a normal video camera synced to a phone or tablet. For something so simple they really haven’t delivered.

Absolutely useless as a baby monitor
If you are wanting to monitor your baby using the sound, look else where.
We can only use this product with the sound off due to a constant ticking/white noise sounds when baby monitor is in use. Monitor freezes when we try to adjust volume or move the picture. It also randomly freezes so I think my baby is still sleeping when he is actually wide awake and screaming (can't hear the screaming because we have to have the sound off).
As a new mum I want to move my baby into his own room but we can't as we have no way of monitoring his noise duri...

The perfect baby monitor
As a second time mum, I really wanted a baby monitor where I could keep an eye on my baby clearly. The image quality of our previous camera is not even close to the quality that the Kodak Cherish C225 provides.
The HD Video and the audio is very clear, ensuring that I can safely keep an eye on my baby and hear clearly. I love the portability of this monitor and camera but also the ability to check on baby through the app as well. My mother or partner often check on bub through the app if i have the monitor which keeps the whole house connected...
Read more and aware of baby. Other amazing features include two way talk, being able to zoom/pan/tilt, have lullabies playing, two way talk, having a lit keyboard (great for nights) and still being able to see bub clearly at night. I couldn't recommend this product more and most importantly, is an essential safety device to have in any nursery.Purchased in May 2020.

Love this baby monitor
Love this product! It’s perfect for when I have bubs asleep and I can still watch her while playing with my toddler outside. Sound quality is great and product was so easy to set up :)

Love this Baby Monitor
Super happy with our C225 Baby Monitor - very easy to use and set up and the picture quality is great!
I love that I can use it anywhere around the house and adjust the camera view 85 degree angle plus two-way communication is perfect for living in a two story home.
Plus the phone APP has made mum life a whole lot easier

Time saving for a newborn and two year old!
I have the Kodak C225 Monitor in use for my newborn's nursery plus a separate, additional camera I setup for my 2 year old.
I have a two story house and the monitors save me endless trips up and down stairs. The range is great; i haven't had any issues.
The additional camera was easy to add and its simple to flick between each camera on the monitor so I can watch both children.

An amazing camera with bonus options
This camera has been a lifesaver as we transitioned our 4 month old daughter into her nursery. Having both options (monitor and phone) it brings ease to myself and my husband to keep an eye on her at all times. One of my favorite features though would have to be the temperature setting and music. Knowing her room temp is important during these hot summer days.

Everything you need!
This camera ticks all the boxes! Has all the features you need and more. I love the fact that it has a smart camera app but that you still have a bed side monitor with it. Temperature is super accurate and the tilting/panning abilities are perfect!

I am looking to replace my Oricom sc710 that has an out of warranty problem. I think the Kodak c225 ticks most of the boxes. Even after 3 years daily discharge / recharge, the oricom can last all night with charge to spare. Does the Kodak c225 parent unit really only last 4 hours on battery, with vox on and screen (mostly) off? Or have I misread the specs. Thanks.

Thank you :) do you have more information? It is confusing - There are many online / review references that the battery lasts up to 4 hours, but nothing about 8 hours and power save mode. There is nothing in the manual about battery duration, or even about power saving modes. Is the 4 hour reference to total autonomy time at maximum usage? Having the battery die during the night is a bit of a deal breaker.

Hello I recently purchased a Kodak cherish monitor and have been very pleased with it but it makes almost a static sounding noise when left on in a quiet room, I usually keep the volume at at least a 3 so I cAn hear bub cry but the static sound is so frustrating, is there a way to fix this?
