Everything works good besides the night vision – I recently purchased the Kodak cherish c525P plus the second camera and I am having issues with the night vision with both cameras. I have tried to research as much as possible to be able to rectify this issue but nothing has helped not even switching to auto as was told to do. Is there anyway I am able to fix this? blue light and waking our child. Have tried everything suggested but nothing works and the camera is constantly searching and trying to connect. Disappointed to find out that Kodak service centre ceased operating in September 2023.

It also appears as though the app is no longer in use which is disappointing. There is no upgrade available and it’s now constantly offline. This was the main feature which caused us to buy this monitor instead of similar, less expensive, monitors on the market.

I spent a lot of time researching the best baby monitor and paid a higher price point for the special features this camera offers only to have it become unusable, of course after the warranty expires.

I would not recommend anyone purchase this monitor as it doesn’t last past 12 months. It’s lucky we worked this out before purchasing an additional camera for the next babies room.

half the image useless. For the cot this would mean mounting it on the roof in order to get a good view which seemed very dumb.

We contacted customer support to check if there was a scaling mode or some way to see whole image. There is not. This is how it's designed.

Overall disappointed and trying to return it for something else. Other functions seem pretty good it's just useless as a split screen monitor.

monitor so I can watch both children.

I particularly love that the camera are small and portable and easy to move around so I can move quickly from the baby's nursery where he sleeps during the day, into our room where he sleeps in a bassinet at night!

The monitor image is also really clear particularly the night vision.

I can also use my phone to monitor the kids by syncing the cameras with the Kodak app!

Oricom customer service 5 stars – I have a c525 monitor that was working fine, but parent unit stopped working, originally it took some time to contact Kodak due to a system outage, once I left a review they quickly got in touch. I was then passed onto Orciom and spoke to Daniel who was nothing but helpful, and understanding, he arranged for a replacement camera to be sent out under my warranty, next time go straight to Oricom for a quicker response. Show details ·  1

Lots of features – Lots of features on the monitor. Picture quality is great and I like the zoom feature. Good if you don’t have wifi and can still use it as well. Fantastic camera – Very clear picture both during the day and at night. Also pretty good sound. Small issues would be is it doesn’t come with stand so unless going to fix into wall you need to get one separately. Also the monitor won’t give you movement notifications you only get that on your phone. Overall being using for 3 months and love it and have recommended to friends.  Show details ·  1

Great in theory troubles in practice – I purchased this in 2021. It had everything I wanted in terms of a parent unit, wifi, room temp etc. but we have had so many issues with it. the company I purchased the monitor from to get involved as I have heard no response!

For this reason, I recommend purchasing another brand of baby monitor, the customer service post-purchase is horrible! It's a safety measure for my little one and no one at Kodak seems to have taken any urgency in resolving the issue. With so many other reliable brands around the same price range in the market, I would purchase one of these.

Personally, I will never be purchasing another Kodak product again.

device is a few months old and already beeping to say low battery when it it plugged into the wall socket… - device is clunky for sound and visuals and not the level of quality you would expect at this price range. - the entire set-up is unfriendly and poorly thought through and quite simply feels about 10 years behind the other devices in this category.

I have raised several requests with the Kodak support team and have never had a response. Terrible service on top of a terrible product.

issues solved. This time they only replaced the camera and wouldn’t replace the parent unit. Received the camera and still having issues with the parent unit not working and not getting connection in my bedroom which is right next door to the baby room. Also the micro usb charging connection on the parent unit broke and the parent unit won’t charge. They kept wanting videos of everything not working and wouldn’t actually just replace the faulty unit. They kept avoiding the issue and trying to offer solutions which just weren’t working. They only reply to one email a night which makes it a really long process. When you use this for a baby/child every night you need a quicker resolution. Unfortunately I can’t afford to go out and buy a new baby monitor. I need one that works and does what it says. The background Audio on the app isn’t working and I can’t hear my baby cry through the night. I feel like a horrible mum. I feel stressed out. This baby monitor is expensive. Wish I spent $350 on a different monitor as this is not worth it. Avoid this company and product!!!

decrease volume button so once we turned the volume up, we were unable to turn it down. Extremely unacceptable for such an expensive baby monitor ($329) Also Baby Village make you deal with Kodak directly to sort out faulty products which is not legal in Australia under consumer law. I would recommend not purchasing anything from Baby Village based on this returns process and would definitely not recommend a Kodak baby monitor.

issues and support aside, the cameras themselves are very clear compared to others I have seen. I have the larger screen parent unit (currently not working) and its a great size to split screen for the two babies/cameras. it is definitely preferable over the app. Very easy to use with some good functions. I particularly like the colour lights on top of the unit for noise in case we have the sound off when watching a movies etc. App is great with one camera/baby and could use some minor improvements with two or more cameras/babies particularly if you are using the app as the primary parent unit which we need to do at the moment.

Overall I really do like this system, just wish customer support was a bit quicker/was able to be contacted via phone call.

connecting to both the screen and the app, so effectively the whole thing is useless as I can't see my baby. I've contacted the customer support team and it took over a month to get anything resolved. There is no phone contact, so it's all done via email and it takes at least 24 hours for a response to each message, which makes the whole process very lengthy. They repeatedly ask for a log to be sent, yet despite following their instructions this does not work, yet they insist on asking for more logs. The whole thing is frustrating when you pay a premium for such a product, and we've been left us without a usable monitor for weeks.

In the end they passed us onto Oricom who must be the ones who produce the product, and their customer service was outstanding. They replaced the unit for us immediately. Do yourself a favour and just buy an Oricom branded one so that you dont have to waste time with the kodak customer service.

Was good for about 3 months – This is my second parent unit now. The other one had an occasional problem but always managed to fix the bugs. This parent unit has completely does after 3 months. I’m so disappointed. I can’t even follow their trouble shooting guides because it won’t even turn on. So so so annoyed. I did love it. Now I’m left with an expensive camera that I can’t use.

Kodak customer service have also been useless, I've sent countless email and device logs, asked for a refund, yet I get the occasional response saying sorry try resetting the product. Not sure why resetting for the 100000th time will make a difference. Don't buy this product! Don't waste your time dealing with their customers service as it isn't a service.

Parental unit is in the kitchen, one camera is about 7 meters away and the other barely 5. I have tried moving the parental unit to our bedroom and still not had any luck. When it does connect I can see both rooms effectively and would be pretty happy with the picture if it lasted more than 2 hours. Also one camera has terrible night vision and the other is better so I’m not sure what is wrong with that. I will be looking in to returning the whole thing. UPDATE: I have been in communication with Kodak Support to try and resolve the issues. Support was via email and very slow and has now stopped on their end. Nothing has worked other than both cameras and parental unit all being within 2 meters of each other and our wifi router and at this stage I have a $400+ monitor sitting idle and not monitoring my kids. Stupidly I threw out the boxes when I received it, so I cannot return it. I would definitely never recommend buying this item.

does 200 degrees and only pans in one line. You need to position the camera above the cot for ideal viewing. Terrible terrible terrible – Terrible baby monitor. Parent unit makes.clicking sound and also when in VOX mode turns on randomly giving false alerts waking you up in the middle of the night for no reason. Customer service is equally as bad. Have been back and forward for two months being fobbed off. Such a waste of money especially at the higher end of the market.
