blue light and waking our child. Have tried everything suggested but nothing works and the camera is constantly searching and trying to connect. Disappointed to find out that Kodak service centre ceased operating in September 2023.
It also appears as though the app is no longer in use which is disappointing. There is no upgrade available and it’s now constantly offline. This was the main feature which caused us to buy this monitor instead of similar, less expensive, monitors on the market.
I spent a lot of time researching the best baby monitor and paid a higher price point for the special features this camera offers only to have it become unusable, of course after the warranty expires.
I would not recommend anyone purchase this monitor as it doesn’t last past 12 months. It’s lucky we worked this out before purchasing an additional camera for the next babies room.
Great in theory troubles in practice – I purchased this in 2021. It had everything I wanted in terms of a parent unit, wifi, room temp etc. but we have had so many issues with it. it’s totally died on us. Won’t even show any lights when connected to charge. It’s a great unit if it worked well but has a lot of flaws.

the company I purchased the monitor from to get involved as I have heard no response!
For this reason, I recommend purchasing another brand of baby monitor, the customer service post-purchase is horrible! It's a safety measure for my little one and no one at Kodak seems to have taken any urgency in resolving the issue. With so many other reliable brands around the same price range in the market, I would purchase one of these.
Personally, I will never be purchasing another Kodak product again.

Was good for about 3 months – This is my second parent unit now. The other one had an occasional problem but always managed to fix the bugs. This parent unit has completely does after 3 months. I’m so disappointed. I can’t even follow their trouble shooting guides because it won’t even turn on. So so so annoyed. I did love it. Now I’m left with an expensive camera that I can’t use.
Do not buy as split screen monitor – We bought this as a split screen monitor for second child on recommendation in store. We had been looking for a monitor that would play audio from both cameras the c520 had a nice switching function. half the image useless. For the cot this would mean mounting it on the roof in order to get a good view which seemed very dumb.
We contacted customer support to check if there was a scaling mode or some way to see whole image. There is not. This is how it's designed.
Overall disappointed and trying to return it for something else. Other functions seem pretty good it's just useless as a split screen monitor.

Good at first – This seemed to have all the features, quality and what we needed. But after a few months of use there are some big annoyances.... 1. multiple times even whilst on charge.
2. The low battery beep is extremely loud and there should be an option to “dismiss” it once you have heard it and don’t want it beeping anymore. It will keep beeping really loud and you can’t turn it down. Often Ill be doing something where I can’t plug it in for a while.
3. When using the app, it times out after 5 minutes. I view through the app quite a lot when I’m doing things around the house and have had to get out the shower several times just to press “continue view” otherwise I wouldn’t be able to monitor bub.
4. Sometimes it just disconnects and takes 5-10 minutes to reconnect but there is no alarm or warning that it has disconnected which worries me. This is a big one for me. Lucky bub still sleeps in my room, otherwise it could do it and I wouldn’t know and wouldn’t have any active monitor on bub.
Pros: app access, good screen, long charge cable, batteries in both camera and monitor, good range.
Don’t know if I would buy again for the price.
