Great straightner pity it blew up just months after i started using it – This was given to me as a present and wasnt used for the first 6 months. It is a great straightener and straightens/curls my hair very well and has (as i now find out after its broken) a temp gauge - so it would be even better!! Unfortunately i switched it on this morning and it banged and arced sparks while i was holding it (girly screams)and is now useless. not happy - hubby says board is fused and unrepairable. wont be buying again as every post i see says they blow about a year in. really easy to use - does a great job - twisty cord is great blew up 6 months after i started using it
Terrible – Very disappointed with this, already took back a straightener and was told by the shaver shop lady that this one is awesome. $200....not worth $2!!! I'll just go back to using my 3 year old babyliss tourmaline 500. It glides nicely Doesn't straighten hair properly and no chance of curling. Makes hair all frizzy!
Excellent – A great product. Does everything really well. No problems with it. Would recommend to anyone. And I got mine for half price, only $99.95! Glides through hair soooo easily, floating plates so hair doesn't catch, great for curling or straightening, variable temperature control, heats up quickly, hair stays straight when straightened (not so much when curly), hair is super smooth and shiny. A great product. The guy at the shaver shop also said it was made by Silver Bullet just with a different name.
Excellent – Rewriting my review because I recently bought the DIVA hair straightener after researching it (very good reviews) - and I found that it seems to be exactly the same as the Kodo. The build seems almost identical. The only differences was the price, colour, and the fact that my Diva didn't have a temperature control. In retrospect I suppose the Kodo Oasis is a quite good straightener, but not for $170 which is what I payed (the Diva was only $90!). It glides very smoothly, heats up quickly, and has temperature control. Generally a good straightener (but maybe not for the price...) My hair doesn't stay straight all night (when clubbing, due to humidity). Also is quite expensive if you buy it from the Shaver Shop - you can get the same quality for cheaper.
