Kogan Cyclonic Bagless

Stopped work, used once a month – I have this vacuum for over 2 years always carefully cleaning the filter after use, but it stopped work suddenly when I was vacuuming. Used once a month, which gives me a total of 25-30 times of use. It is a very very low life time for a product. The maximum that I heard from the support team is that the warranty is over and a "sorry". If you do… Read more
a simple research it is possible to see that I am not the only one having problems with this brand. I do not recommend this product and I would expected to the product last longer or to have my money back. Both did not happened.
died after 12 months – my model cost $99 and the motor died after 12 months - and I am hardly a regular vacuum type of lady. It got used probably 3 times a month on average. Waste of money. Fair Trading say a product should have a 'fair term of life expectancy" and i should have demanded a refund or replacement. I didn't realise this was the law - i thought i was out of… Read more
consumer rights because the warranty of 12 months had ended - but that's not correct.. as consumers we are allowed to expect a "reasonable life" out of goods we pay for. So complain to Kogan and get refunds/replacement if your motor dies too :( This seems to be a common complaint of Kogan vacuum cleaners. portable, small, good suction motor died just after warranty ended
Shocking and a waste of money! >:( – Hadn't even had it 6 months and it has lost majority of suction. It often overheats and shuts off and cannot be restarted for hours which is a nuisance when trying to clean the house. Do not buy this vacuum. It is a terrible waste of money and I will not be buying from Kogan again. Very disappointed.
Died after about one year – I had this item for about a year and all of a sudden it stopped working. Vacuum cleaner won't turn on when it is plugged. I contacted the technical support and they asked me to send photos of the filters. I did but i still haven't heard back from them.
Terrible – What a shocker! Talk about lack of suction. Im going back to using my 10 year old Huffy Vacuum cleaner.. Sorry Kogan, for purchase from you. Is now my last. Will not recommend this product too anyone. Like the previous guy, i guess that is why they removed it from sale. So they should! They should just refund everyone money. Nothing What a… Read more

kogan cyclonic bagless – I have had my second Kogan Multi-Cyclonic Bagless for about a year, as the previous one was returned due to loss of suction. Your company replaced it, but this one works ok suction wise, but cuts out all together after about 10 mins. It smells hot, and is very noisy?? My wife complained about it nearly straight after we got the second one, but… Read more
I didn’t take any notice until she started to use the old one when I was on sick leave.
I have wasted a lot of time following this up, but it is still a very big disappointment. I am unable to give you the returned information on the first one, as my computer crashed and I loss previous emails when replaced.
I know that you don’t stock these anymore, and maybe this is the reason??? I have brought TVs etc from you without a lot less problems. I have gave your company a lot of good fee advertising by work of mouth, but this has shitted me off extremely.
Is there anything I can do about this useless vac, or do you just tell your previous good customers to just suck it up???
Kind Regards,

Bagless but prepare to buy heaps of air filters – I have a substantial hearing loss requiring hearing aids and with them out I consider this to be loud! Also I purchased this as it was bagless thinking that would not need anything else after the initial purchase. I was wrong, the air filter lasts about a month in our 2 bedroom apartment! So thats $29 per month plus postage for additional filters.… Read more
They have to be replaced or the vacuum looses all suction. This is not a cheap vac at all due to that. There are other brands that have washable flitters that are also bag less and thats a more cost affective solution than this 'cheap' vacuume. Small size Expensive air filters + postage, very loud operation
Perfect little vacuum – We live in a small apartment with 2/3 carpeted rooms and this is perfect for us. The cord is a good length and the suction is fantastic. It's only little so it's good for a place like ours without much storage space. Really easy to clean too. Overall very reliant and cheap vacuum! Great for a first home. Easy to store, reliable, cheap, easily cleaned
You get what you pay for – Pretty much what I expected from a cheap vacuum cleaner, unless it was totally empty it would lose suction power pretty significantly. Even when I did empty it frequently I still felt that the suction power could have been stronger. If you can get this quite cheap it may be suitable for a rental property or occasional use. Price for sure. It was cheap :) Not particularly well made.
Poor product Kogan Bagless vacuum – I am not against Kogan as I have a couple of their other products which have been fantastic but the bagless vacuum is Terrible. It has no suction, the customer support was slow in getting back to us when we first asked for assistance and they suggested we change the filter for another $22 (it was brand new) on second use it then stopped working… Read more
completely but they did not respond to our further queries. It has started again but there is a very strong burning smell when its in use and its So loud, the suction is at bare minimum. The cord is not long enough to do a large room and the handle is too short (I am not tall but I am stooped when using it).
We have been very disappointed by the lack of customer support and would not recommend this vacuum to anyone.

Extremely poor service and very unsatisfactory product – I bought a cyclonic bagless vacuum cleaner only a couple of months ago. First time use was great, second time there was no suction, despite nothing blocking and no physical damage. Contacted the Kogan "support team" as soon as possible, yet they were hardly supportive. They asked me to check if there was any objects blocking, I wrote back saying… Read more
there was nothing and if they could advise me how I can get a warranty repair done, or even better, a refund as I was unsatisfied with the product. This was 3 weeks ago. Several emails have been sent out again, yet I have not received another response. Very disappointed with not only the product, but the service I have been given again. I definitely will not recommend Kogan to anybody I know, nor will I purchase anything from them again. It's simply shameful. Inexpensive Second use no suction, terrible customer service
Vacuum not working and poor customer care – I bought a kogan multicyclonic vacuum cleaner about two months before. After few weeks it stopped running(the on/off switch was not working). Informed kogan customer care and they found it is faulty and replaced it with another machine. Replacement process took two weeks. After using the second machine for few weeks it gave me the same problem. I… Read more
was so frustrated that i have to stay without a vacuum for another two weeks because both myself and my wife are suffering from asthma and our two year old son also being sick. I explainedd this in an email but the only response I got is they need to inspect the vacuum. Not even an apology..No way I am taking a third vacuum from them. Good suction when it was working Power switch not working
Okay for the money – It does have great suction provided you not only empty the cylinder after every vacuum but also clean the filter and shake out fine dust from the top half of the cylinder. I did hear someone say they also washed the cylinder, but I haven't been game to do that yet. The turbo brush which came with it didn't survive more than a couple of uses -… Read more
hair and debris clogged it quickly and I haven't yet bothered to cut it away. (I'm in the country, so maybe my house is more dusty than most!) Anyway, I've had it for over a year now and it's still working well. Good value for under $100. Cost, good suction. Turbo brush wasn't good for use on carpets.

Know better, choose better.
Stylish and Functional – This is a nice little stylish yet functional vacuum cleaner. It has all the hoses and nozzles that any brand has and gives enough suction and power to clean my house. I like that is has a cool and funky look to it also :) :) You dont normally find that with the inexpensive brands. But this does the job and looks cool :) Inexpensive
Great little cleaner – Mine arrived last week and I cant believe what a great performer it is. The turbo head is brilliant. As good as what you buy for 4 times the price. For an extra $9 I got a 5 year warranty.I couldn't believe how much dust etc was in the barrel after I tried it out and I had cleaned only 2 days before with my old one. Cheap-good suction-only needs small area for storage. Show 2 replies
