Can I get a new control unit for my Kogan KASBRBTAIOA sound Bar?. The original one has ceased to function correctly.

Yes I think so,you should be able to buy a multi-functional control unit from someone like a electronic store, then you will need to set it to the speaker. This should work.

I vaguely remember that for the Bluetooth to connect , the button had to be pressed one position past where the FM radio was

Hi sunny about your question, Buy a small gadget called Bluetooth 4.1 transmitter or a Dongle which plugs into the audio socket on the side of your tv and then transmits audio to your Bluetooth speakers this is what I did and works great, some are expensive and some are not they all work the same, cheap one will work great.
