WARNING!! You will be ripped off for replacement parts. This product works well, sometimes the water doesn't come out, and sometimes the software and the robot malfunction, requiring a reset. The real problem comes when you go to buy replacement HEPA filters. Not only do they make you pay 59.99 for it, but they also charge 12.99 for shipping. Unless you become a "First" member, which is just a rort unless you plan on buying everything with Kogan - you pay to become a member.

Purchased at Kogan.com for $189.

I am so very happy with this product. I didn't give it 5 stars but for the money I spent, anything over 3 stars is exceptional! Had it for 24 hours and have played with it a bit. The good parts - it does a good job! Picks up probably 95% of the dirt on my tiled floors. Didn't buy it to do rugs or mopping but it's had a few runs over my short pile rugs and they look better. Very manageable noise level on regular suction on hard floors, noisy on carpet (automatically increases suction but you can adjust it on the app). Love the ability to pick a room or part of a room (kitchen mess anyone?) for a quick tidy up. Haven't tried to program it yet to run overnight etc. Set up was pretty easy. A few goes to get the wifi connected and it will only work on 2.4Ghz not 5Ghz but that wasn't really an issue and once connected seems quite stable. Loved the array of spares that came with the machine and the cleaning tool is simple but effective for sorting long tangling hairs from the roller. Negatives - you can't map several different areas. We have multiple sets of stairs so while 80% of what I bought it for was a single level area, it's a shame it can't map a second and third area (eg. downstairs entrance hall) for use there. You can always just put it in those areas for it to clean without a map so it's still useful, just not quite as useful, but that's splitting hairs. Probably the biggest issue so far is that it did fall down the stairs. We did increase the degree of difficulty by having a small lip approx 1cm high before the edge of the stairs and while it coped with that head on, when it turned sideways and ran parallel to the top stair it fell off that lip and then down about 5 stairs. It seemed to weather the fall quite well so maybe that's a positive as well as a negative lol? I will manage simply by adding an avoid area at the top of the stair. Final negative so far is that when trying to edit rooms (split a single space for example), there are icons on your map to indicate what the robot should do there. That's fine but they don't seem movable so the dots you click and drag to show where the split should happen can get stuck under the fixed icons. Not a big deal and I found a way around, just irritating. All in all I am completely delighted that for such a low price (got it on sale) I have a super functional vac that does exactly what I want. The big vac will still get used from time to time for stairs, rugs, skirtings etc but this takes the heavy lifting out of cleaning the floors on a day to day basis. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Purchased in at Kogan.com for $417.99.

Forgot what using a hand vac is like – This review is talking about the Lx16 robot vacuum with self emptying dock. This robot has fantastic features, very exact room mapping and can be over multiple floor levels ie 1st floor 2nd floor etc. Used so far for 3months, it got stuck once, tangled in a cord, my bad, apart from that it does not get stuck or lost. Multiple levels of suction, can be auto adjusting depending on surface. Mopping function with adjustable water flow. On app can send to clean a single room or entire house, can mark no go zones for either vacuum or mop or both. Obstacle avoidance 2nd to none, cleaning ability honestly very very good. Ability to set and forget ie auto routines and days / times to clean. Combined with auto empty dock this vac needs very little attention, about once a month empty dock and clean filters. I've forgotten what vaccuming was like to actually do by hand, I don't miss it. You can buy the lx16 without a self emptying dock, but you can't buy a stand alone dock from kogan for it, only as a pack. However if you buy one without a dock, you can buy a Lubluelu self emptying station dock, it is fully compatible with the kogan lx16, in fact all Lubluelu parts and consumables are fully compatible, and substantially cheaper than kogan spare parts. Great robot vacuum, could not be happier, really, I've had many robot vacuums, love this one for set and forget. No regrets on this purchase.
