6 years of trouble free usage – I love my Minolta 5D it has travelled with me to the USA twice & last year to Dunbai, England & Spain. Reliable & I could use the Minolta AF film camera lenses. Battery life has been awesome. After 6 1/2 yrs I'm still using the original battery. It has taken some great shots for me & as I've mainly teamed it with my Tamron AF28-300 lens, the camera shake doesn't work, but that hasn't made any difference to the quality of the photos. I guess that comes down to operator. It has problems with low light, but, it has an inbuilt flash
