factory reset (some sort of software problem with them) and I lose all data anyway. No customer support or help. Ridiculous.

The best at being the worst phone – This phone is perfect for being a very crappy phone. It’s at good at lagging when doing anything. It also has a banging theme song when you turn it on/off.

Konka SP6 – Konka SP6 mobile phone hotspot to weak for PS4 or smart TV, it connects, but it say no internet connection, why is this, all my phones before work perfectly, so it has to be this phone, biggest price of crap I ever spent money on, 149$ for crap product, stay away from these phone, nothing but problems with it. Show details

Love this iphone, we bought one each – We love our 4G iphones - unlocked suit us for our needs as for years we have been with Amaysim, our Konka iphones were purchased from Big W Grafton NSW very helpful salesman,we did notice that the battery requires charging almost daily, with our older phones we were more spoilt battery wise. looks good,good size, good photo shots, yes we are very happy.  Show details

Ok knock about work phone – I agree with most comments 2 things I have done. Turn screen brightness control down to lowest increased battery life to 12 hrs. Downloaded EQ music app to increase volume and add bass . Hope this helps Show details

hotter than the surface of the sun when I call somebody for 5 minutes. The Google Chrome app can't load websites as well as the Playstore does not load. The internet does not work unless the phone has been powered off and powered on again. The phone is also slow as well as the charging. The charging USB plug that comes with the phone is too short.

I supposed the camera and the video quality/frame rate is ok. Playing games on the phone is an ok experience and run smoothly, but moments, when the game has to process many lines of coding/command it may frame drop. The last thing that I was relatively pleased with was the way the settings were placed out and also how the drop-down menu can be customised.

Overall, I would not get this phone again or recommend it to other people. Adding on, the biggest tag I believe this phone can get is, "What you pay is what you get".

Very slow, but cheap – The camera on this phone is average, not bad, but also not great. It is very durable, I have dropped mine a few times and don't have any cracks or other issues. if I don't use the phone constantly. My main problem is the speed, it's a very slow phone, it takes ages to get out of anything, and when I touch the screen I need to wait a few seconds for my touch to register with the phone.

Major glitches – The konka r8a has appalling speeds, the loudspeaker has never worked. Camera function is faulty at best. The sim processor often goes Into error making this phone unusable as a phone. The wifi connectivity short curcits ALOT. Overall konka has provided the worst phone I have ever used. Why did i buy it? – Been using an outdated Samsung 3G. I purchased purely on impulse. A$145.00, not lot to lose. 4G, All the things i needed in a phone.It has been a nightmare.Always dropping out, hard to switch apps without something going wrong. HELL!!

Google Updates the KONKA R8A PHONE every day which chews up your bandwidth, and the Konka R8A phone uploads to "somewhere" constantly, hence the "upload arrow" on top of the screen,

KONKA R8A Bluetooth continually turns off when using IT to transfer data to an ANDROID Tablet.

90 per cent of the time my KONKA R8A PHONE does not even pick up my tablets 15 inches away at all!!

The WiFi feed from this KONKA R8A also cuts out continually when I use its Konka R8A WiFi "Hot Spot" to feed internet connection to my Samsung Android Tablets.

To be fair the KONKA R8A connects up to WiFi from an external source without problem.

KONKA R8A has no CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER to ring like Samsung etc.

In fact searching anywhere online to find the makers of this KONKA R8A is fruitless!

And they know why they're in hiding too!

I certainly do!!!

The places that sell these KONKA R8A PHONES like Big W, KMart, Australia Post etc don't even sell covers for them. In fact I have had this KONKA R8A PHONE since Feb 2018 and sill cannot get a KONKA R8A PHONE cover in Australia!

There's more S#it on the Konka R8A phone than what there is on an Aussie Arch Bishop's "appendage"!

(And that's putting it very mildly).

Nowadays I must keep this KONKA R8A PHONE plugged in to a battery pack when I go out, and I have only had this KONKA R8A phone since February!

And what a joke it is for KMart to boast Konka R8As "long battery life" on Google search!!

To sum up folks, don't listen to the utter rubbish the sellers of these Konka R8A phones like Big W, KMart, Australia Post etc spew out on line or anywhere else, find someone who owned a Konka R8A phone or search Konka R8A phone on Google, where you will find bad reviews aplenty!

Do not buy a KONKA R8A phone, warn your friends, AND, before you buy any mobile phone, especially a Konka R8A mobile phone make sure they sell covers for them!

I rang BigW customer support Australia AGAIN to complain about their Konka R8A phone in July 2018, 6 months after purchasing the phone, and they said to me,

"Strange, we have not had any complaints about this phone"

Very strange considering I know two other people here in Townsville that have the same problems with THEIR Konka R8A phones AND MORE!

The KONKA R8A Phone has caused me so much angst that I will warn people against the KONKA BRAND especially KONKA R8A Mobile phones till my dying breath!!!

recieve a call as it crashes. In fact everything seems to crash this phone, phone calls, messages, facebook, whatsApp..... Things can take a long time to open or turn off. It gets 1 star because I can't score it any lower like it deserves.

Don't waste your time or money – We purchased this phone for our daughter. On the first one the sim card slot wouldn't open. We returned it and got a second one that wouldn't charge. Worst phone I have ever had the displeasure of owning – Upon purchase everything seemed great... Since then it has been a downhill slide. Takes upward of 4 hours to charge most days and is lucky to last half a day. Jury is still out – This was purchased as a simple smart phone for my husband who uses it for very basic internet & general phone use. not good – The battery on this phone is hopeless. I i can be fully charged at 11pm and be dead at by 11-30 pm the next day. It takes about 2 and a half hours to charge up. I found it hard to start up taking up to four or more swipes to get going. Good value for money – I bought my Konka at Big W, took it home and put it on charge. Nothing happened after 10 minutes so I took it back to Big W and exchanged it for another. didn't look like it was taking a charge so I asked for a refund. While the refund was being processed the attendant raced up to me and said, "It's charging now".

This seems to be a problem with the Konka R8A. The batteries are totally dead when they leave the factory. Worse, the battery management system doesn't display the battery strength if it is less than 1%, leaving one to assume the unit is dead on arrival.

For $149 it is a very good phone. The battery lasts several days on standby, and lasts all day if used lightly. The screen is big and bright, and it has 16GB on-board memory. There is an internal slot for another 16GB SD card. Charging the battery takes a couple of hours the first time but after that it recharges in about an hour.

The unit is light and slim. Having a non-replaceable battery means the rear of the phone is good and solid, unlike other phones with tacky pop-off back-plates.

The camera takes good-quality pictures and the operating system is Android 6. The phone is unlocked which is an additional bonus.

The only quibble I have is the noisy way it starts up. Turning it on in a cinema is not a good idea!

Rubbish – Battery life is not good.also takes ages to charge. Also not easy to navigate, I am fair but this phone continually drops out when making or receiving calls.luckyto last five to ten seconds and I am in good coverage area, I guess I will have to take back after two weeks only. Battery expanded & popped screen – I charged my Konka & noticed the screen had popped out & cracked (few times) left had corner. (2nd charge) As it And a strange smell from the battery or what was left of it. Had i not noticed & kept it charging what would have happened?? Never Konka again! It ended up in the rubbish bin! Great phone – This has been one of the best phones I've had it's great with the 7.0 Android and it doesn't seem too crash or have any problems whatsoever except my earpiece is a little hard of hearing but not anything of a problem really its great when on speaker and other than that I can not find one bad thing to say about it.  Show details
