Krups EA8080

Very good machine – I have had this machine for quite a few years and have used it constantly. I rarely use the milk attachment, preferring to have a normal coffee. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, good quality coffee maker - have tried a few and this is by far the best. Never had a problem with it in all this time.

This is the perfect coffee machine for us – We have this machine now for over 4 years and almost 10,000 cups of coffee. The machine is still going strong without any problems at all. I would recommend this coffee machine to anybody who wants to buy an everyday coffee machine. .
Love this machine – I have had this machine for almost six months and it has not skipped a beat. Got a great deal in Harris Scarfe's where they gave me a Tefal Toast n' egg machine valued at $79.99 free with the purchase of the coffee machine which was at a reduced price of $699.00. Instructions are easy to follow. We do not use the attachment as I prefer to heat my milk in a metal jug using the steam wand. I have the timer set to come on each morning at 6.00 am and the machine is pre-heated and ready for use when I get out of bed. It is a nice compact size and does not take up a huge amount of space in the kitchen although the bean hopper might be a bit on the small side for some people but the upside of that is your coffee beans are fresher when you use them if you have to refill the hopper every few days and keep your beans stored in their foil packs in the meantime. I have not tried to purchase any cleaning accessories yet as a package came with the machine for de-scaling, cleaning etc. So far it has been very reliable and I am pleased with the product. Reliable, instructions easy to follow.
Good machine – I personally loved our Krups and used it every day. Grinds beans well however you need to ensure they are not "oily" beans as this clogs the grinder. Automatic milk frother attachment has been useful. You do have to change water filter, clean and scale regularly which is an added cost but I imagine contributes to the life of the machine. We found a wholesale coffee supplies outlet and bought our filters, tablets and scaling powder in bulk which has worked out quite economically. Unfortunately two days out of warranty (12mths) an error message has appeared and the power button will simply not turn the machine on. Krups were helpful in recommending a local service centre. The service fee will be $85 and reimbursed if we proceed with the repair. It is disappointing though, particularly when you are pedantic about the maintenance of your appliance that it would have issues after only 12 months. Hopefully the problem is not major and the repair cost low enough to not tarnish my opinion of the quality of the machine. Shall update re repairs in near future. Timer, pre-heat cups, grinds beans, optional milk frother attachment/jug. Power button no longer worked two days out of 12 month warranty.

I love my coffee mahcine and we too did not have a problem with my machine either and then it happened - two days out of warranty (12 mths). An error code appeared and we simply could no longer turn the machine on. It needs to go to the service centre - $85 service fee which is reimbursed if we continue with the repair. Hopefully not a major problem and is an easy fix as I miss my morning coffee.
