Not impressed – After only one year of minimal use (1-2 x week) the steam nozzle explodes! off from the machine spewing hot milk and steam everywhere. Very dangerous. No longer heats milk well. Cannot get a strong coffee from machine despite grind, amount and type of coffee. Very noisy and slow. Would not recommend this machine. Slow, noisy, weak coffee, doesn't last.

Simple to use and makes great coffee! – I have used other home and commercial machines and I find this one so quick and easy, with great results! I did need to get used to the frother- I had been trying to use it as I would on a much more complicated machine- but then I realized how simple it was, and now I have perfect coffee every time! Love the automatic tamper. So easy. Times extractions perfectly with no need for manual setting, although you can do that if you want.

New to expresso coffee making but can make good coffee with this machine – Bought it so the family can have their expresso coffee when they visit, have found it quick and easy to use and the kids are impressed with the ease of cleaning, we now make expresso for ourselves. Filter eject works well,no banging it to clear the grinds,Milk frother comes off quickly for cleaning much better than other machines the kids have. Simple and quick to use and clean.

This is the worst Coffee maker I have Owned – This is the worst coffee machine I have ever owned I have had 2 Breville cafe series prior and both where better built. This machine is my second Krups XP5280 the first one didn't work properly out of the box I had to wait 5 weeks for a replacement from the service agent. Now 3 months later this one is starting to only half heat the milk in cappuccino setting I cant use the steamer as it is so poorly manufactured that it broke within a months use. The poor design of the push on milk hose can cause significant eruptions of milk if not carefully fitted or if you attempt to use it to many times in a row.

I bought the Krups thinking I was going to get a GREAT coffee maker what got was a dud.

Would not recommend to anyone look a Breville or Sunbeam in this price bracket better built Energy efficient Poorly designed ad made

Could not agree more, the exact same issues happened to us ie broken steam attachment within 2 weeks and only half heating milk with other attachment. Very annoyed :(
