I have annoyingly sensitive skin. My skin is mixed Asian and European. This is the only sunscreen I can wear on my face without a reaction. Its very thin and lightweight formula that absorbs easily. It is effective for pretty much all day use without reapplication. I have worn make-up on top with no issues. The foundation still looks good… Read more

after a full day of work. By then end of the day my face is slightly oilier. Its non greasy, easy to use . Im very happy with this product. Its only 50 ml however does last a few months.

My son wanted this sunscreen. I gave him the money and when he showed me when he came out of the shop I was shocked at the size. It’s teeny sample size! For $39! Then on the back it says apply generously. It will last a week if he’s lucky. There should be a law that says sunscreen should come above a certain size. Such a scam product.

using for years amazing quality product – Great value, when you purchase half price. I love the easy to apply texture and performs amazingly on my sensitive skin. I love the fact the product is made in France and uses quality ingredients. Show details

The only sunscreen I can use – I use the tinted version, and I personally really love it. Most sunscreens make my eyes water and make my skin immediately break out. This product is the only one that seems to not give me a reaction. It sits well over moisturiser and it evens my skin tone and gives me a really healthy looking glow. Normally I use this with just a bit of concealer… Read more

and it's a perfect light-weight day look.

The packaging is also great as it very easily fits in my pocket, so I can reapply throughout the day.

The only thing I don't love in the fragrance. It smells quite strongly of a kind of alcohol?? Not super appealing if you've had a big night the night before.

Love this – I did use the cream before but was a bit too heavy. This fluid is lovely and light, sits well under makeup too. I don't have overly sensitive skin but it does get clogged easily, I don't get any breakouts with this product. Show details

This is terrible stay clear – I tried the product twice using Anthelios invisible fluid 50+ and have 3rd degree burns to my lips First time I went into the water and thought perhaps it wasn't a good sunscreen for water use. . But as I applied before and after I should have been covered. The second time I didn't enter the water, wore a beanie and a wide brimmed hat and it was… Read more

ivercast and raining and I ended up with blisters all over my lips and a sunburnt face. The email I sent was responded to without care and gave me facts about sunscreen. I had done everything they had suggested anyway. Their product is faulty My specialist recommended the product and he himself had been burnt also while using the product on the same weekend

Super strong fragrance :( – Bought this as it stated it was hypoallergenic, therefore insinuating it wouldn't have a super strong fragrance but it does. Need to use a lot compared to other sunscreens to get the same coverage despite it being very runny. On the plus side it does leave a nice finish and isn't oily at all. Show details

The best sunscreen ! – I have combination skin and this sunscreen is amazing, it's light weight and smooth to apply, spreads easily and gives great coverage. It has 50 Spf . I wear it daily under make up. It has never broken me out and is very comfortable, non sticky amazing sunscreen!!! It has never burned my eyes. It's so good for my teenagers too. They find other… Read more

sunscreens too sticky and thick and many types burn their eyes while playing sport, but with this one , there are none of those issues! It is a little more expensive than other sunscreens but totally worth it!

Fantastic! So light as if you're not wearing anything – This is my fav sunscreen! It's so light as if you're not wearing anything. I thought maybe it didn't do anything, so I tested it on a gardening day on my back and the sections that didn't get covered got super burnt - it's as effective (at preventing burning) as the cancer council one, but without the greasiness and clogging up of my pores. one downside is it's expense. Show details

Dissapointed made my face red – Purchased after researching sunscreen for sensitive skin, so chose this one. My face feels like it is burning after about half an hour, and is bright red. So unhappy with this product. Both La Roche-Posay and Chemist Warehouse, moderated my review and didn't allow the above comments. Show details

Excellence in sunscreen – My skin tends to be quite dry and I burn easily as I have very far skin. This product is excellent for me because my skin drinks it in but others may find it very greasy. I've long looked for a 50+ sunscreen that's easy to apply and not a thick zinc cream and now I've found it. I have sensitive skin and this product is exactly what I need causing no issues and gives excellent sunscreen performance. Show details

Gave me contact dermatitis that lasted for 2 weeks - AVOID!!! – This product is just awful awful stuff for me. I bought this a month ago and it's broken me out into the most horrible contact dermatitis I have ever had; I don't usually react to products this badly, especially one that is targeted to those with sensitive skin and eczema sufferers. That I find is the biggest joke. As someone who suffers from… Read more

eczema, I research reviews heavily on what to put on my face as I am very sensitive. I'm also an avid sunscreen user and never go out without SPF. Now I found numerous glowing reviews about this brand and hardly any negative ones so off I went to Chemist Warehouse to buy a bottle. It was great for the first few weeks; it did not burn or sting my skin and thought it was great! Not greasy at all!

However I started getting more redness over my face within a week of using it. By the 3rd week I was breaking out in hives and contact dermatitis all over my face, which swelled up and made it hard for me to see. I couldn't go out. I couldn't wash my face with even water because it stung so badly; and the oozing was unbearable and only slept 2 hours a night. My partner had to drop everything to take care of me and I had to put my work on hold because of my reaction. This put a heavy strain on our relationship.

I ate incredibly well the next few days and I slowly recovered. Loads of bone broth and organic food. When my skin got to a stage where I could go out again, I gently put La Roche Posay SPF on my face and no reaction. But by the 4th hour my face started getting familiarly hot and bubbly -- I immediately washed everything off, and sure enough my face swelled up in an angry red contact dermatitis AGAIN. I was upset, then worried, then livid. I'm going to have to go through recovery again!

I checked the heavy amount ingredients and there are loads of chemicals. Alcohol is one of the first few ingredients.

I never would have thought my reaction was because of the sunscreen because it never stung or saw an immediate redness. This reaction happened only after I washed the sunscreen off and then the burning began.

You will see this marketed heavily because of the Australian Open. But my advice is to stay the hell away from it -- especially if you suffer from sensitive skin.
