Lacura- FOAMING CLEANSER, this is my second day using it. This foaming cleanser works really well at removing all my makeup, even heavy products. After washing, my skin feels nourished, smooth, and healthy. It doesn’t leave my skin dry or tight — instead, my skin looks well-structured, fresh, and naturally glowing. Neg reviews are from ppl who have no idea what they are using – Im so grateful to have access to high purity skin care options for such a bargain. Ofcourse when you buy a chemical peel product, your skin is going to burn. Why would these people use a product they know nothing about. Our shelves are already stacked full of diluted products charged at full cost, perhaps stick to those rather than applying 100% pure ingredient products with no concept to what its function is or what your doing. I love the Lacura Labs range - the 100% serums are incredible, and such value for money.

75, 50-year-old or younger skin. Thank you Lacura Caviar – I'm turning 76, have tried most well-known products available. Nothing beats the Lacura Caviar range for results, and the prices are unbelievably low. I use the full range and also use other Lacura products like the face cleansing wipes, lipsticks, pencils. I regularly buy many food and grocery items as well. I like the ALDI way of shopping.

Love it!!! I found it better than expensive brands! – I was really hesitant to try this brand as it came from Aldi but I heard so many friends and family, who like me, use to buy expensive department store brands rave about it. I was really surprised at how good the eye cream and anti ageing serum was......I love it and the price is amazing.

Eye cream retinol plus – I used this eye cream for two nights sparingly as instructions woke up to retinol red eyes on 2nd day! It did burn a little on application. Nothing on box warns about this, just says skin will be left with a soft and pleasant feeling! Don’t buy it.

DONT BUY- BURNS SKIN – This instantly started to burn my face. Started off as light tingles and then my face started to become hot and numb. I have rings around my eyes and mouth where I didn’t put the product. 20 mins after I washed it off I still feel the blood rushing and pumping to the surface of my skin. Horrible experience. Doesn’t even deserve one star.

Salicylic Mask & Squalene Cleaner - red & burning skin – I bought this hoping it would be similar to The Ordinary's salicylic face mask which I've never had a bad reaction to. I had the same reaction to the squalene cleaner also from Lacura lab.

I've used other Lacura products many times without incident, on comparing ingredient lists both products contain Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate.

A quick search shows this ingredient is preservative linked to contact dermatitis, and with reactions including reddened, and stinging/burning sensation of skin. It can also induce formaldehyde allergies.

I found more info about the ingredient at this link, definitely think it's the culprit of all these bad consumer reactions. (Left a gap between www. and ewg in link address)

Salicylic acid facial mask causes chemical burns DO NOT RECOMMEND – I had to call an ambulance today as I thought I was having an allergic reaction. I put the salicylic mask on for 2 mts till I ran to the bathroom to remove. It totally burnt my face so bad and continued to burn to the point I had a severe anxiety attack. My face was as red as someone sitting in the sun for 48 hrs straight. My face was burning from the inside!!!!! Very scary.. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT TOTALLY ACID BURNS VERY WORRYING

Aldi - salicylic Acid face mask - BAD SKIN BURN! – I put the product on as directed did not keep it on for even 5 minutes started getting slight tingling washed of product to find entire face has chemical burns. Do not buy this product! Extremely red and hot face. Not happy. I’ve seen lobsters less red than my face right now.

Bad reaction – I have always used the Q10 day cream and been satisfied with it, but the last one I bought I broke out from. My face went bright red then started to itch. I thought it couldn't be because I've always used this product. So I gave it a rest and tried it again. Same reaction. Have the ingredients changed or something? Yet I can use the night cream with no problem at all.

Chemical burns- facial in a box – I just tried out the product today and immediately after my face started tingling and burning. My face is redder than it’s ever been and it’s extremely dryer than usual hence I wanted the hydrating products. My whole face has been hot and read for an hour. Ridiculous how this is still on the shelves. Even after icing my face for half an hour the redness is still the same.

I can't even give this a 1 star review as I had a severe reaction and ended up in the E.R. horrible experience – Bad reaction. Chemicals burns. Rash and irritating skin. Migraine. Ended up in E.R

got chemical burns – the product gave me severe facial burns and i was in so much pain was killing me had to wash off straight away and was sitting with an ice pack for an hour straight

Facial in a box is dangerous, do not use – Within minutes caused a reaction with my daughters face going red, and a stinging pain to the point she is in tears from it. I wish I had read these reviews. They should be recalling this product. Absolute negligence

Bad reaction to step 3 – I wish I read these reviews before I used this product. I have used other products by Lacura and never had a problem of but this time was different. Very unfortunate and a waste of money. Also responded promptly to my email which is a positive. Hopefully they test their products more thoroughly in future

Very burnt face – Same as everyone else, within a second my face was on fire and still is even after removing it instantly, I have never had this reaction to anything and I use from supermarket to high end products. They should either remove this product or put a warning, I look after my skin so will be very unhappy if any damage.

Burnt my face ! – I thought I'd give this a go as I have dry skin. The first 2 steps seemed fine , but the third step (the ampoule) made my face feel like it was on fire. It turned bright red and I tried to wash it off but it was too late. My face was really really hot. I took an antihistamine as I thought it was an allergic reaction, but after reading now it seems it's happened to numerous other people. Not happy with the product at all and don't recommend it !

Me too! – I had problems with the facial in a box too. The glass ampules were a bit tricky to break but the issue was the fact that it made my skin burn with the heat of a thousand suns! Within seconds I looked like I had spent the day at the beach sans sunscreen. Donald Trump…red with white around the eyes and mouth. Not really encouraging if you’re looking for an improvement in your skin.

Deodorant roll on – The liquid product is great, but the dispenser is problematic! I have bought 3 now on which the ball seems to be too tight for the container and so doesn’t release the liquid. I think this is a major design fault which needs to be resolved. The ones that actually work are great, but 3 out of five not working leaves me with no recourse but to buy another brand!

Lacura Clense Facewipes – Be careful when using the face cleanse wipes. They have taken a layer of skin off certain places of my face and blistered my lips. This is the second time as I didn’t realise it was these that caused it the first time. Not happy at all

Lacura eyebrow pencil L2008210103 dark – I purchased this pencil with high expectations and I was happy with the application and colour but after using it for approximately 6 times i tried to wind it up to get more pencil but it had finished! That is not value for money. Do not buy!
