Great face cream for 40 plus – This cream has no strong smell, you only need to dab a small amount into the areas of your face. I have dry skin and this makes it soft and dewy. It hasn't irritated me either. Show details
Surprised by quality – Really like this night cream. It absorbs really well and leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. Show details
Seems to have changed – Been using on & off for years & have recently bought again but the night cream is t as thick as I remember seems so much lighter. If it was same I’d have rated 5 stars. Show details
Perfect – I have been using it for years. I’ve used all the expensive name brands and this is wonderful. I do use the La Acura Caviar serum 1 st which makes it penetrate more easily and I’ll never go back. I keep an eye out for when it’s available and buy 2 packs so I don’t run out. Show details
Just Simple Moisturiser – I have been using ALDI Day & Night ALDI Caviar cream for weeks, I have normal skin and in my 45. I can only say it's a good moisturiser for skin, no change in wrinkles but it keeps my skin moist and soft. Good for this price. Show details
Tried hard to like it but it is an overhyped product – Product does not absorb well. It is thick and sits on the skin like butter, which is not a pleasant experience. My skin looks tired and the skin tone becomes uneven when I use this product. Show details
Seriously Overrated – I've been using this for 2 months now (along with the day cream and 'eye mousse' - which is pretty useless). and no real change to either tautness, smoothness or elasticity. Overally I believe this is not worth the hype behind it and the prices charged on ebay. I mean it's all right...but nowhere near as good as Lacura's other creams. Show details
I use it day and night, my skin simply love it! – Leaves my skin feeling and looking clean, fresh and soft, I use the cream day and night. put a smile on my face every time. I am 73 and the price is also .right Show details
Not sure what all the fuss is about – At first it seems to be amazing, I'm 59 and have very dry skin initially it absorbed well, was non greasy and moisturising but by the time I was into my second jar my skin became dry and angry and lots of lines started to appear. I went back to my old moisturiser: Dr Spiller Vitamin A night cream and immediately my skin looked calm and smoother so I wouldn't recommend it for mature /dry skin. Show details
great product and price – I love all of the Lacura Caviar product and they are great value for money You have to be quick to buy as it is very popular Even got my daughter using it Show details
Very thick and occlusive, better suited for dry skin – I purchased a Lacura Caviar gift set during Aldi's special buys before Christmas around November 2019, after reading about how popular it is, and how it's a dupe for La Prairie’s very expensive luxury moisturisers. The gift set was $30 and included the day cream, night cream and eye cream. Sure enough, on the day of release, women were lining up… Read more
outside Aldi before the doors opened.
I decided to open these during the winter months given that my combination skin is drier in winter months. The moisturiser feels very luxurious, but it is very thick. I think the night cream is a tad thicker than the day cream. I have not had any negative reactions using it, and the night cream keeps my face moisturised until the next morning. I can't say that it's improved the appearance of my skin, but I already have quite a complete skincare regime using other active ingredients.
I think this range would suit those with dry skin better.
Never going back to Kiehl’s – I take good care of my skin and was stuck to Kiehl’s products as they worked really good, fast and consistently. This is much much better than their avocado eye cream mousse and for a quarter of the price. It sticks to your skin and doesn’t absorb fast, which is what you want in an night eye cream (as you’d lose so much product on your pillow if it was runny). I highly recommend it. Show details
Bargain price for amazing product – Switched from expensive name brands to Aldi's Caviar serum, day and night creams ... love the results and price! My senior's skin is dry, very sensitive, lined, lots of pigmentation after years of outdoor activities. Other brands' strong scent caused irritation and sneezing, had to stop using them. Aldi's skin products have hardly any scent - no… Read more
negative reactions. Skin care articles say you need to build up resistance to retinol, using other products first may have helped me. If first time using retinol, perhaps apply lightly for first couple weeks, check for reaction, if good then gradually increase amount.
Products absorb quickly with light massage, leaving skin silky. After 3 months my face, neck and back of hands are smoother, less lined, brighter with slightly reduced pigmentation. Hope improvements continue. Day cream has 15 SPF sunscreen, maybe enough for winter but will add SPF50 sunscreen in hotter weather. I don't use face cream on nose or ears so SPF50 them year round. Only downside is challenges finding more product when I run out.

The problem in purchasing all Aldi Caviar products has been created by Aldi Management themselves – Each time this product is occasionally advertised, there is an unedifying rush to grab as much of the product as possible. These groups are highly organised: one grabbing boxes while the other one packs in bags or trolleys. Within five minutes there is no product left. This behavior could easily be managed by restricting the item to 2 or 3 per… Read more · 1
customer. Surely this is in Aldis best customer service interests. We dont all want to be paying inflated online re-sellers prices.
I love it – I have been using the night cream for a long time and don't use anything else on my face. My skin is very dry without cream. Caviar is a wonderful product for me especially for that price. Unfortunately it sells out too quickly. You have to know when it is for sale as one of the special buys. Show details
Love it – First time using this product and I find it absolutely fantastic. No adverse reaction and my skin looks and feels great. Waiting to see if scarring improves after a few weeks use. Show details
The Emperor’s New Clothes – This range of products is great for the price, but simply copying the La Prairie packaging and name does not make for an equivalent quality product. I’d say it’s on par with L’Oreal etc, but because I don’t have a laboratory in which to break down and compare products, I can’t say this with any certainty. And neither can the hordes of beauty… Read more
bloggers proclaiming how wondrous this discount range is. I bought the range and found it to be ok. There was no visible sign of improvement in the appearance of my skin after 6 months. I used La Prairie Caviar range for several years, and did find the texture of my skin was finer, tighter and had a healthy glow. Ridiculously expensive though, so changed to something more affordable. Lessons to be learned - You get what you pay for, and if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Burning , swelling, redness – I applied the night cream on clean skin and went to bed to be woken by burning, swelling and redness . The swelling was very significant , the burning continued after repeated irrigation of the site. I will be returning to Aldi tomorrow to return for a refund and will post my review on the response. This is no minor reaction, so be very careful!!
Love it – I heard from people how great this product is, found it very hard to believe until I finally got my hands on the product itself, and I absolutely love it! I live in Queensland on the Gold Coast it sold out everywhere here, a relative from Victoria managed to get me the last jar at a store down there, I can’t talk this product up enough, my skin… Read more
feels so soft and supple, I wake up my skin still feels amazing, you need to try it yourself, I now want to get my hands on the day cream .
Lovely! – I've been using this night cream for several days now and even with my sensitive skin I've had no reaction (my skin would usually react within a couple of hours should there be asn't adverse effects) and my skin is feeling beautifully hydrated and soft in texture. There's no strong perfume which is a plus and feels soothing on application. I'm in Sydney and this product has just been released here so one impressed new customer! Thumbs up
Not as good as the day cream – I've used the night cream for about a month now and have found it not to be as nearly as good as the day cream. On my skin the night cream feels sticky & oily, almost as if it sits on the skins surface. It also reacts with my eyes even though I ensure I don't let it get too close. The intensive night serum oil however is quite rejuvenating.
Lacura caviar illumination night cream – I had been using the Lacura Naturals range of face products (serum, night cream and eye cream), they were the best and produced most visibly notable changes in my skin in a very short time. However, after discovering they no longer stock this range, I was forced to try alternative products. Other Lacura products had moderate to minimal results but… Read more
I have recently tried the Lacura Caviar night cream, with astonishing results compared to Garnier, Neutrogena, Nivea, Loreal and Olay night creams. In my 40s, my skin instantly feels much softer, and the next morning when I wash my face I find my crappy Garnier day cream that I am trying to use up, is more absorbent. I would highly recommend the caviar night cream, and looking forward to trying the caviar day cream. I am hoping they come out with an eye cream!
