MacBook Pro Water Damage - Excellent Service!! – Booked into Apple Genius Bar with dead/black MacBook Pro less than 12mths old. Advised Apple would replace the logic board under warranty. Two days later, advised water damage found and no warrant cover. Cost of repair was quoted approx $1800. Later found out my son was caught in rain on way home from school! Found Laptop Rescue and spoke with Ben… Read more
explaining water damage. He asked me to bring it in, and if it couldn't be repaired, would be no cost. Within 3 days, Ben had the MacBook pro fixed and in perfectly working. Ben explained and showed me on another MacBook opened what was fixed. Cost was $600 with a 3 month warranty. We couldn't be happier. Mind you, this happened in August 2022, 7 months ago, and no issues. I just kept forgetting to write up my review..... Thanks Ben, I've already recommended you to others.
The Best – These guys are great. They are my first and only choice for computer repair service. Extremely fast response and quick computer repair. I am extremely satisfied with them. The Best !
Stay away from this guy ! – I took my laptop for a repair at Laptop Rescue in mascot. Told the guy the light on my battery charger was turning off when I plugged it into my laptop, everything else was working fine as I was using it the night before. The charging was the only reason I took it to him. He called me today to say it's fixed & ready to pick up. So I went to pick… Read more
it up & then he says to me "You also have a Systems problem & you can only use the laptop in Safe Mode. Also the battery is no good". I couldn't believe what he was saying & told him that I never had a issue with any of those things before I left it with him. Then he says to me " I can fix it but you have to pay more money" ! I told him that I wasn't happy with what he's done to my laptop then he proceeded to yell & get angry. He threatened to take my laptop if I didn't pay him, which was never my intention. So I paid him $350 & now I'm left with a laptop that has more problems than what I originally took it to him with, it's basically useless he ripped me off big time ! What should have been a simple fix turned into a nightmare ! Stay away from for this guy, you'll end up with more problems than you originally had & out of pocket !
Awesome service highly recommended – My 2010 MacBook Pro was running very slow and finally refused to boot up. I decided to take it to Laptop Rescue where Ben diagnosed a motherboard problem which he was able to quickly repair (3 days). He also replaced the old hard drive with a new solid state drive. No more moving parts. My laptop is now as good as new. Ben is very capable and professional and I can highly recommend Laptop Rescue.
High recommended – Had to repair my sons laptop, as he dropped it days before NAPLAN. I was originally told by JBHIFI that it would take 4-6 weeks, if they sent it off for repair. I went in to Laptop Rescue, was quoted the next day free of charge and repaired it in less time than he originally told me. I highly recommend Laptop Rescue for the overall experience… Read more
from the moment I walked in to when I pickup the laptop. So happy with the repair and we had it back in time. Would definitely use again!
Stepped in when ASUS stepped out – This ASUS UX310AU i5 is a beaut laptop with a history of power problems - not charging, not connecting etc. The ASUS service centre regretted they no longer tried to repair it - and suggest a motherboard change. $700+ for the part plus labour. Not economical for me or for them. Amit from Laptop Rescue fixed it for less than half that. See how long it'll last - of course - but for the moment he get 5 stars from me.
Fantastic Service ! – Recommended to me by a friend, quick assessment and repair, typing from my functional laptop now which apple had quoted me a small fortune for. Laptop Rescue repaired my laptop for a much better price and I would definitely recommend them. Thank you!
[Content Removed] & [Content Removed] – I sent my laptop into be repaired & was told it would cost $200. I thought that was a bit much so they lowered it to $185. How nice of them. When I had to pay they said it was $205 but I didn't bother arguing because I just wanted my laptop back. It worked fine for a short time then broke down again (just out of the 3 month warranty period… Read more
