Just down-right dodgy tactics to get a sale – I purchased a netbook from this guy's business on eBay, it had a blue casing and I wanted to put the internals of a netbook I already had, into it, and his netbook said it was 'for parts' and the pictures didn't show any damage to the chassis and no mention of any damage was in the listing so I thought 'why not' and bought it.. and a half later, and the first thing I see was a large chunk of the casing split and missing, I went back to their auction page and looked over the pictures once again, I found that they had cropped out the left bottom side of the unit in every picture (where the extensive damage is located).. I contacted the business and he gave the old excuse of "oh, well it must have been damaged in transit", yet if it was, the missing and split pieces would be within the double-sealed parcel (it arrived in a sealed box which was inside a sealed courier bag).. He couldn't give a response to that, and I haven't heard from them since. They have a few different accounts on eBay, the account I purchased from them was called 'laptop.graveyard'. They've now received their first Negative rating on eBay, and if they continue doing this to others, I'm certain it will be the first of many.
