Hopeless customer service

Everything is fine until you have a problem or need to speak to someone. Then, good luck with the overseas call centre. Show details

Left without access to card overseas

We contacted Latitude Financial to advise we were going overseas and we would be using the card. They noted the details and we were confident all would be well. We were wrong. It wouldn’t work when we tried to use it and so we had to withdraw local currency cash from our Aust bank account. Thank god we brought another card with us.
Tried customer service and could not get thru with the number to call when overseas on the card.
Tried the app, got a bot. Totally useless, will be cancelling when we return home. The last thing anyone’s needs is to be overseas and not have access to their cards. Show details

I got the card a month and wanted to cancel it as it incurs more fees than providing any benefits. But so far my 15 requests have not been answered. If someone wants to close the account, they never do that. Incompetent and ignorant staff. Show details

Problems using card - some online booking systems refuse it, or it refuses them!

I can only agree with other reviewers. This card is problematic - when it works its a good deal so long as you remember to regularly pay it back- a process that is clunky to say the least. I regularly have situations when the card is rejected by booking systems. I recently tried to book a tour using Fareharbor intermediary and it rejected my card or rather my card refused them. Oddly it works just fine through PayPal. I got the card because it didn't charge fees on international transactions as so many others do but today was the last straw. I am now applying for a card from a more reliable provider. Show details

Worst customer service, avoid at all cost!!

I would leave no stars if I could. I have been a loyal customer since opening an account 7 months ago and I have always paid my card in full every month. I have sent a request to increase my credit limit as I'm travelling overseas and sent all the requested documents. I have received a call almost every day asking me for the same additional documents. I keep sending them and still receive more calls. They still haven't made a decision. They promised an answer without 2 business days. It has been a week and nothing. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing in this company. I'm cancelling my card and applying somewhere else. I wish I had read these reviews before. Avoid at all cost! Show details

Scams $30 late fees

They stopped sending reminder due dates on credit cards around May 2022, they would first send an email that statement is available to view...not attached to the email, you have to go online and sign in to view it..22 days before the due date!!! Then they would send you an email reminding you it's due in 7 days again..that email stopped...now can you remember a due date 22 days away...no txt messages and no attached statements....easy $30 sting, if afterpay can send you emails and txts a few days before due date...Latitude can but why lose the opportunity to extort $30 Show details

Never trust this one

Took more than 2 weeks to gather required documents. Incompetent staff members keeps on telling you different stories such as yes we have received the document we asked for, then next one day you will be asked to send same documents again.

That went on for 2 weeks and even after formal complaint customer resolution team didn’t do anything about it.
On the top of all this, I was asked to send my financial documents via email while informing you that you are taking your own risk.

28 degree card maybe great for travelling but if anything happens, the resolution team is basically no use.

I will not recommend this one to anybody. Show details

Free travel insurance scam

Same experience as the other reviews with the the free travel insurance offer. Totally pathetic, first I was told that the insurance docs would be available on the master benefits webpage surprise suprise the website doesn't work. I called mastercard was told I would have to manually apply for the travel insurance and supply a raft of paperwork. Numerous calls and getting passed around from latitude to mastercard and back again trying to get out of cycle account statements in just frustrating and being told to wait for next statement cycle on the 15th when I have to travel on the 7th is crazy. Also dealing with overseas based customer service agents adds to the frustration. Stay away guys

I had canceled the credit card in June 2021. They in January 2022 I received a letter from the bank requesting for payments. Then i went back to the site and checked there were transactions that were put through in September in Japan- obviously fraudulent transactions.

I contacted the institution and they began an investigation which I heard just heard back saying the the time frame for the investigation has lapsed and I am liable for all payments

This is absolutely absurd. I will be contacting fair trading for this

Avoid at all cost

I would give them negative stars if needed

absolutely disgraceful Show details
