Decent card with a straightforward application, instant conditional approval and full approval minutes after submitting face/licence verfification theough the link they SMS. You can then add to wallet and use the card straight away. Balance transfer promo was easy to activate and processed quickly. Payment via direct debit takes 3 days to clear and a fee for bpay is the only downside. Show details

Don't do it!!!!!! – You will rue the day you applied for a Latitude credit card. You will throw money at it, it will go nowhere because the credit rate is nearly 30%. Please don't apply for any Latitude services EVER.

Stressful – This company stresses me out loads. Charge you for 0 balance for monthly fees and not tell you. You call them and you get a representative that does not listen to what your syaing , or their eating or even has a dog barking in background. Ended up cancelling card

Worst Experience, STAY AWAY! – Transactions are not recorded for days, sometimes the process time takes a week or more so it's impossible to reconcile your accounts accurately. Current balance and credit amount is inaccurate with a lag time of updating information for up to 5 days or more. Don't bother making payments on weekends, they don't record payments until (apparently)… Read more

Monday and any transactions are pending until they get around to processing it so you're always behind no matter how up to date you are with your payments. They don't give you the nominated credit amount until you pay your outstanding balances so it's more like a debit card, not credit card. They also took out an unauthorised payment from my linked savings account and I had to 'stop' the amount going through from my other bank. If you are going overseas, find an alternative because Lattitude cost me more in overseas phone calls, stress and insufficient funds to use when I should have had full credit. And customer service is useless! I should have known to stay away after the horrendous application process.

A joke – Absolute scammers. Constantly changing fees, increasing them with no notice. Interest free but with a monthly account that will increase every few months. Finally pay it off and then they continue to charge you the fees without any sort of consent.

Horrible customer service – Amazing card to purchase interest free. However when come to customer service. Ridiculous waiting time. They also easily block your card for no reason and you have to call to unblock it

Terrible call centre, Poor credit card fraud protection for consumer – NOT RECOMMENDED - First they were hacked, now Latitude make card holder liable for fraudulent charges Latitude FAILED to prevent. Again, thick Filipino accent, and worse, call centre person was a confused girl who had no real understanding, still required me to pay for fraudulent charge. Conversation went round and round, call centre person could only repeat standard script lines.

I finally got the answer as to why I was required to pay - it was because Latitude had gone ahead to pay the merchant, despite my confirming it was a fraudulent charge. Also, I would only be refunded if Latitude could successfully claim the money back from the fraudulent merchant.

During my call, just after 4PM, I asked to speak to escalate case and supervisor or manager. Seems none were available and was told to call back again between 8:30AM - 5:00PM the next day.

service and could not get thru with the number to call when overseas on the card. Tried the app, got a bot. Totally useless, will be cancelling when we return home. The last thing anyone’s needs is to be overseas and not have access to their cards.

pin would come through the mail. Waited 2 weeks and nothing arrived. Made several more phone calls one of which the person said to set the pin online but you cannot do this with a secondary card. Got disconnected and put through to others with a promise of a call back if I was disconneced. No such phone call came. Was told by one person the pin would come via email, the next person said they would never do that. Said they would post the pin (again) but I'm travelling in a week and it will all be too late. No sympathy for my plight or offer to sort it out any other way. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

Hopeless service - can’t load card to Wallet – I’ve made 4 calls to Latitude to try to load my card to Apple Wallet. Every time I’ve tried to load it the attempt ends in a direction to call Latitude for card verification. The last person spoke to IT while I held, came back to say they’ve done everything they need to so while she held I tried again. Same result. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused. Said it was at Apple’s end. I knew that was wrong but spoke to Apple representative in the US anyway. Far more professional and well trained than Latitude person. It’s not an Apple problem. I need to call Latitude again (God help me!) and ask for the Payment Network Operator to make sure the token is updated for my card. Failing that (which is likely) go directly to Mastercard. Oy vey!!

you remember a due date 22 days away...no txt messages and no attached statements....easy $30 sting, if afterpay can send you emails and txts a few days before due date...Latitude can but why lose the opportunity to extort $30

Never trust this one – Took more than 2 weeks to gather required documents. 28 degree card maybe great for travelling but if anything happens, the resolution team is basically no use.

I will not recommend this one to anybody.

Numerous calls and getting passed around from latitude to mastercard and back again trying to get out of cycle account statements in just frustrating and being told to wait for next statement cycle on the 15th when I have to travel on the 7th is crazy. Also dealing with overseas based customer service agents adds to the frustration. Stay away guys

Handy card but some limitations – Great card to use - happy with limit offered but dislike that I cannot send multiple payments as I see fit ie locks out for 5 days with bank transfer and forces you to use bpay etc. I find that extremely frustrating this restriction. I have regular spendings and regular incoming cash which I like to put to credit card but can’t - as I see fit. Overall good product Show details
