If I could rate this 0, I would. I booked a pick-up on 18 May, and the assigned driver, [Name Removed], did not show up or send any message to let us know he wouldn't be coming. Due to our busy schedules, we had to rebook for two weeks later. I specifically requested a different driver as [Name Removed] had already proven to be unreliable. … Read more
Despite this, [Name Removed] was assigned again. He then changed the booking date from Monday to Sunday, even threatening that if we don't confirm the booking will be cancelled and the next day, he attempted to cancel the booking entirely due to missed calls — even though the pick-up was properly booked through LBC's customer service and the schedule change was confirmed via message.
His behaviour throughout was rude and unprofessional. LBC clearly doesn't screen their employees, even if he is just a contract he represents LBC. If he's not reliable, then clearly LBC is not.
Very unprofessional. Set a pick up time of between 9:30am-5pm, arrived after 7pm. Online form is cumbersome and leaves a lot of information out that you then need to complete again anyway. If there was an option to give a zero star review I would do it. Ended up cancelling the booking. Would rather pay extra for better service and experience than have a cheaper solution with less than zero service and poor experience. Show details
This has been one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had with LBC. Not only were several valuable and sentimental items missing from my delivery, but the courier company has refused to take responsibility or investigate the matter properly, despite clear signs of theft or mishandling. Here’re the items missing from two boxes: A… Read more
rectangular Amazon box containing personal gifts for my aunt: a mix of bags, a dress, necklaces, earrings, pouches, and scarves — all completely gone.
A red toy car — only the remote was delivered. The car itself was missing from the packaging.
A large plastic bag filled with chocolates from Costco, worth $45, was also missing.
I reported the issue promptly, only to have the delivery company dismiss my complaint entirely, denying any wrongdoing. This is especially alarming considering that some packaging did arrive — but not the contents — which clearly points to tampering.
This company has demonstrated:
Negligence in securing parcels
Lack of transparency
Zero accountability
These weren’t just random items — they were gifts for loved ones and represented both financial and emotional loss.
It's not my nature to audit items hence it is highly likely that LBC has been thieving from my boxes until I found out in this occasion.
I strongly urge others to be cautious using this courier service. If your packages go missing, don’t expect help or honesty. I’m now pursuing other avenues to report the incident and will not be using this service again.
Mag-ingat po kayo sa magnanakaw na LBC.
I am not delighted to send boxes using LBC anymore. Firstly, I am qualified to avail $10 discount last year, but the courier who picked up our boxes didn’t grant it to us. Secondly, the last two boxes I sent overseas last year via sea was extremely delayed and when it arrived at home. I was so disappointed because the other box was wrecked, few… Read more
items were lost such as hats and most of the items were damaged like packs of sugar and cans of spam. The box with damaged was wrapped with lbc tape. I didn’t get the chance to ask my in-kaws to take photos of the items. We were in video call when they opened the box. Lastly, poor costumer service, especially when I am tracking the balikbayan box.
NIGHTMARE! – NO UPDATE, NO CONTACT, WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Complaint for missing items pending since February 2024. Show details
PSA! This business is rotten and corrupt to the core. Don’t do business with LBC – If I could provide a negative rating I would, but unfortunately I can’t. Poor customer service, or should I say, non existent form of service, other than to take your money. Fellow Filipinos, DO NOT USE OR ENGAGE in any business with this mob. Once your balikbayan box arrives at the distribution centres in Manila/Philippines, expect your gifts to… Read more
be stolen by stealth. I truly hope Karma catches the thieves who raid the balikbayan boxes by stealth and steal items meant for our relatives. The business and distribution centres are rotten to the core and this business should be shut down.
Poor service and assistance – Very terrible service! It took more days than the timeframe provided to us. From sending to receiving an item both have issues. Very disappointing. Tried tracking the item online, but it was not accurate. Tried coordinating with the branch itself, but staff don't have answers to queries. Might wanna fix your service. Never again. . Show details
The slowest delivery ever – Useless slow service . takes almost 1 month to pick up your box. Then the box sits in the warehouse for 5 weeks , then finally gets loaded into a container. 2 months and it still has not left Australia. The tracking page is useless . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Show details

Bad Customer Service – The Blacktown LBC doesn't have an updated list for prohibited items and qty limits that can be send via airfreight. One crew there seems to have her own version ( as opposed to LBC website advertised ) of what can be sent and the quantity that is allowed. Example, website says, costume jewellery is allowed...she said not... she also said perfume… Read more
limit are 2 bottles. Website did not even particularly mention perfume. If there are changes in the items not allowed or qty that are allowed/not allowed, it should be clearly advertised. It is not helping customers need to walk 10 minutes while carrying heavy box and wondering if the precious items will be accepted.
LBC Express doesn't Communicate - Hopeless – LBC doesn't communicate properly and when I emailed their contact centre no one bothers to respond, rudeness not responding to any emails and good communications is the key to successful business, if you don't want to communicate then why bother Doing business. Booked, Confirmed BUT NO PICK-UP or UPDATES: LBC inform customers: Bookings Temporarily cancelled if fully booked – I booked for a balikbayan box pick-up and was confirmed to be picked up 11 October 2022 with a reference number. I rescheduled my work and waited for the LBC agent, but nobody turned up or gave me a call or text message. I emailed customer support and was told they already told their agent to pick IT up. When I asked when, they just said they are… Read more
still waiting for their local agent. A week past still no update on the pick-up date, emailed again and received the same reply. As the box is for Christmas presents to my parents and relatives, and with 70 days window for delivery I decided to forget that I booked and rebooked again. As my balikbayan box is LBC I thought that other delivery agents will not accept it, so I have to book again with LBC and put a note that the booking is for the second time as nobody picked up the box in the first booking. The agent arrived and he said this is for the second booking, so they knew. I asked why it happened, and he said, I don't know but maybe the crate for that loading is already full. GOODNESS GRACIOUS WHY ACCEPT THE BOOKINGS???? WHY OVERBOOKED? GREEDINESS? LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE? What happened to your slogan? WE LIKE TO MOVE IT????? HAVE A MERRY DELIVERY??? If the box will not be able turn up this Christmas because of your delay, it would be a BLUE DELIVERY. Not because of port congestions or Covid as you say but because of your inability to pick up the parcel on the confirmed date. We allocate time for these delays that's why we try to book it earlier but if it will not be picked up for two to three weeks, it is LBC's unpunctuality.

Terrible Company Missing Items – Dont have a mistake on taking this company for your cargo. My cargos were delayed for 4 months. I had lots of missing items (signature watches, signature sunnies, lego toys, stuffed toys, canned goods, chocolates) And some of my items are broken. I hate this company. Hope you learn your lessons Show details

Desperately seeking competence – Imagine if you will, you want to send a largeish parcel/wedding gift overseas......and Australia Post says it's too big though it's under 20kg. This happened to me recently....the option of sending by SEA was not an option as it was needed in under 60 days... You quickly find that options are extremely limited. ARAMEX, FEDEX, TNT etc were all… Read more
quite ridiculously priced at around $500- $1300!! I paid under $800 for my economy return fare (to CEBU, Philippines). The next price tier included the Aussie couriers all-around $400 - $500. I was happy to find LBC Express. This courier specializes in sending items to and from the Philippines, and provided a handy online postage calculator....this is where the real issues start. Apart from having a clunky website, where links and buttons are yellow in a brownish background and the whole site is crowded with promotions and specials. The online calculator indicated a charge of $183 plus taxes. This was great. I rechecked my dimensions and weight, and although I didn't quite fit their promotional flat rate ($140), I was confident that the online quote was accurate. I booked the pick-up, and was instructed to pay the courier by cash, and that the tax would be $15-$20 extra. A week later, the courier came to inspect the contents and pick up the item. After verifying the contents free of contraband, he measured the dimensions and weighed it. The dimensions were as I had stated online, but the charges were incorrect. He stated the online postage calculator was incorrect and spent almost 20 minutes trying to contact the office.....they were understaffed he said.... He gave me a new tally....$366.40, which I questioned as it was almost double the online quote. He explained the postage calculator was wrong because the postage should've been based on "volumetric rates", which indicated my postage included up to 28kg despite my parcel being under 20kg, $302.40, add to this a Tax of $30, and another Tax of $34 for import of a "new item". Transparency is non-existent with LBC, but being a trusting soul, I accepted this and went ahead. Basically, this service was way cheaper than almost 90% of the advertised rates of competitors. There's no guarantee that those other couriers wouldn't also change their charges too...I find this area of service industry, similar to car rentals here and overseas......full of caveats, and opportunity to upsell at the very least. In the end, I have a fully insured parcel, being sent overseas, door to door, for under $400AUD, not cheap, but no other choice. Just as a last footnote. My parcel arrived safely, and was delivered to the door. Well done LBC!
No updates??? – Cargo box was supposed to be picked up last Tuesday (bet 9am-5pm). They did not arrive and there was no call or updates. I called their 1800 number and my details were taken, promising an update. 2 days on - still no update. I seriously don't care what happened, I just need to know when they'll come and pickup the boxes. So over it
