If you're bigger than a size 8 do not buy from here – I had a terrible experience with this brand. The bathers did not fit me well and I ended up exchanging them for the size up which is much bigger than my usual as I already size up for bathers. I then received the exchanged bathers that were now two sizes larger than I needed. They came and they fit the same - poorly. These were a size 18 and the brand makes up to a size 20. I emailed Le Buns asking for a refund as I believed that the sizing was inaccurate and that although their bathers went up to a size 20 they were not in fact size inclusive. They denied me a refund. This conversation went back and forth, they took weeks to respond at a time and asked me for measurements to prove they were not faulty. I had not accused them of being faulty, I had just pointed out that they were not size inclusive as they claim. I originally bought my first pair in December. It is now the end of February and this issue has not been resolved. They have just emailed again saying that there will be no option of a refund. Their customer service is awful and the quality of their bathers are poor, especially for the price.

Terrible client service – The advertising looks good but the client service is as predictable as you might expect from an off-shore budget store, which, they probably are. After washing the garment according to instructions, there were subtle stretch marks on the front of the skirt. They weren't overly bad, but, they could be seen, and I felt this warranted feedback. The reply was immediate from the customerlove@ email address - I was instructed to gently press them out, even though the label says not to iron. The result was horrible, a completely ruined garment, as you can see in the photo. I emailed them 3 times over 4 weeks, with no reply. I then emailed the 'hello@ email and got this:

After checking in with our fabric mill & customer care team your query is the only kind we’ve had, therefore we cannot assist this as a fault on our part. As this has been a very popular style & all skirts were cut from the same yarn of fabric - there have been no other emails of feedback of thus nature therefore we have to determine that this is coming down to the after care of the skirt. Our whole team also has this skirt wearing & washing in a weekly basis as with no issues. Looking at the pictures it looks like it needs to be gently pressed more throughly - we would recommended asking your local dry cleaner for some further advice.

I followed their instructions and ruined the skirt completely, but apparently, it's my fault. I suggest you spend your money with businesses who have ethics and values.

Honest Review of Le Buns – This is a genuine and honest review of my experience with Le Buns. I bought everything with my own money. I bought Le buns about 9 months ago after wanting to try higher quality underwear brands. I searched everywhere... and this was one of the few brands i liked. So I bought some underwear and a bra. I have been generally happy with my experience with them (with a few gripes) but here is the in depth breakdown of my experience:

PROS: - I generally like the aesthetics of the site and it was easy to navigate. It's nice to see they do show a *decent* range of body types and skin tones. (4 Stars) - The quality is pretty good and they have held up these past months pretty well, and i dont use a garment bag to wash my underwear (i probably should). However there were few loose threads when i initially got them and there have since been a few loose threads but very mostly minor and most probably my fault. I would say though that the stitching could be a bit cleaner. (4 stars) - The general look of the underwear is cute and feels like statement pieces but for everyday wear. They dont look like any other underwear i have bought before (as in they dont look cheap!), so generally happy with it. (5 stars) - They do have some sustainable practices which is fantastic. They do provide good but concise information bout their factories and sustainability practices. However I wouldn't say their the MOST sustainable. (4 stars)

Neutral: - Comfort depends alot on the style you get, but everyone's comfort is different. I much preferred the G-string to the cheeky cut. The cheeky cut rode up my butt like crazy, i dont tend to reach for this style often. (3 stars) - The non-high cut versions still feel high cut, when compared to other normal underwear. I would prefer they lie lower on my hips instead of cutting into my slight muffin top. Unless you are super skinny and have no fat, then its perfect. But if you gotta bit of fat on you, It doesn't look nearly as flattering. (3 stars) - Price is ok... its not cheap but not super expensive. Given it's natural fibers and it's a bit more sustainable, sure its gonna be more expensive but $33 is quite expensive for 1 piece of underwear. (3 stars) - I would like to see more range in the size and colour of the models wearing the garments. (3 stars)

CONS: - No exchanges or refunds of underwear (unless faulty). The underwear doesnt come with a hygiene protector either. I would think they should do that otherwise if you dont like the underwear your stuck with it. (2 stars) - Each underwear came in a small polyester washing bag (4-6 bags in total?) which is incredibly silly! The polyester bags were tiny and wern't gonna fit anymore than 2 underwear in it, and i have a large garment bag already. So i had to throw these out, which is complete waste. For a sustainable brand they should be avoiding this and just using paper based packaging. (1 star) - This brand comes off as very 'Instagram-y'. Because of their look, i find it hard to take them seriously as an underwear brand. There are other underwear brands that have a more serious look and i feel better marketing towards consumers who dont look like 'models'. (2 stars) - The colour range of their garments, aside from black, is poor. They really should be putting out more flesh tones in underwear. The lighter colours are cute but not utilitarian for everyday wear. A spectrum of flesh tones would be fantastic! - Dont trust the reviews on their website hence i am posting my own real review!

Garmet Review: 1) Cheeky cut / High Waist - Taylor (3 stars) + Generally comfortable and doesn't ride up my bum as much as the cheeky cut. - Sits too high on my waist for me personally. The top band that wraps around the waist tends to roll down as there is nothing to hold it up. Once my pants are on, it feels tight around the waist due to the amount of fabric. 2) G string / High Waist - Taya (2 stars) + Comfort around the waist is good. Its not as much fabric around the waist as Taylor. - The G string cut (the fabric that lies between the bum) is too thick, and this is comparing it to the non high waisted G strings. It definitely gives the wedgie feeling which i hate. Generally avoid wearing this one. 3) G String / Normal waist - Robbie (4 stars) + Generally comfortable. Its not as uncomfortable as the ones above. The G string cut the runs between the bum is the best thickness. - No negatives, just not my fav style. 4) V shape G string / Normal waist - Billie (4 stars) + Incredibly flattering V shape. Fits the body really well. I love this style and it my go to when looking sexy. This one i would buy again. - The G string cut (the fabric that lies between the bum) is again too thick. Its not terrible but i wish it was thinner. It gives a slight wedgie feeling but it's not as bad as Taya. Mind you i have a bigger bum and will feel thick fabrics more. 5) There are a few styles which I can no longer find on the website but are more or less similar to the others listed above. 6) Bralette - Devon (3 stars) + Incredibly flattering shape. It shows off the breasts really well and is generally pretty comfortable. - It' a bralette! Which means there is no adjustment and very little support. If there is no adjustment, the bra doesn't stay in place very well. I find its slides around a bit during the day and the straps have become a bit stretchy and is a bit looser than i would like. I think it's only suitable for casual wear (around the house) and i personally feel this is best for smaller breasts.

Poor Fit. Poor Customer Service. Buyer Beware! – I was thoroughly disappointed with this item and even more so with the service I received following my purchase. I purchased this robe during the Boxing Day sale and could not believe how poorly such an expensive item could fit. The shoulders don’t sit properly which affects the way the garment sits at the back, which then affects the way the front of the garment sits. My intent was to wear the robe as a dress as well, as suggested on the website. Unfortunately that won’t be happening. Looks bad as a robe, worse as a dress. Contacted customer service twice on their email address provided on the website but received no response. I finally received a response after contacting them via messenger. I was told they did not receive either of my 2 emails. The customer service representative was kind enough to reiterate the terms of sale/exchange and the fact I could not exchange for something else but failed to address/answer the styling questions in my original email. The worst customer service I’ve ever received.
