mid summer in the outback of Western Australia.

I use their bb tinted face sun screen, as well as this Coconut one for everywhere else.

It's a reef safe chemical sun screen, which is also animal friendly (not toxic to my dog, or the cows or goats) not tested on animals and proudly Australian owned and made.

Yes, I have to reapply every 2 to 4 hours depending on time of day and year and what I was doing. Yes I wait 30mins before stepping out of the shade. Yes I have to have a thick layer on. (Doesn't matter what sunscreen I use, I've had to do all 3 for all of them).

Difference from other sun screens is I don't burn through it as if I was dinner and got too close to the flames on my rotisserie, or stayed too long in the hot pot from hell. Side note, this sunscreen also gives my skin a smell like a summer night on long island in the Whitsundays, doesn't make my skin feel oily or break out or leave an oily (bleaching) arm print on my car door.

I don't understand some of the negatives reviews, I don't get that people have burned using it... Maybe a bad batch, which can happen... Don't know.... Just know that I've used it for years... Never once burnt while using it... And I hope that LaTan never stops making it... Or their light shaded bb facial sun screen.

Does not work – Smells good, feels good but does not work. Applied 15 mins before swimming and got sunburnt!

5 hrs today and applied 3 times. Once in car on way there approximately 20 mins before arriving then twice at the beach. My body is red raw burnt to a crisp. I am so burnt I thought maybe i brought an out of date bottle but when i checked it still had long use by date. My face is fine not burnt which suggest it has to be suncream. My hubby and son who wore no suncream are not even burnt. I should have just used the other brand all over or nothing at all. Please dont ever apply this stuff to children. I highly recommend Aldi brand sunscreen and will stick with that from now on.

Worst sunscreen ever used – Applied to myself and kids and we all got extremely burnt to the point my son got blisters on his face! Applied as directed. application of the lotion onto my skin. I use the large pump pack and also carry a small bottle of it in my beach bag. When that bottle empties I have the large pump pack to refill the small bottle with, money saver. A big tick also from me is it is an Australian made product and has been around since the 70s. A lot of comments from others who pass me by are about the coconut scent, absolutely divine and lingers for ages. Well done Le Tan on a great Australian made product that serves me well in the outdoors under a hot Qld sun.

Terrible Range, do NOT buy – My husband and two daughters used this thoroughly around 8am. I applied before getting dressed to every inch of my body. We went down the beach for not even 2 hours. Reapplied thoroughly again. All of us are so severely burnt it's a joke. I had to google whether it was sunscreen or tanning lotion given it's made by Le Tan. Horrible experience – My partner and I both experienced the worst sunburn of our lives using this sunscreen down at the coast this past weekend. We both look like we have a skin disease and have been wearing clothing to cover our bodies in the summer heat because of how bad the burn is. Dec 2018 Got burnt – Lets go Coconut Sunscreen 950ml - Le Tan. Took this sunscreen to travel overseas to Bintan. ( Indonesia). I used another sunscreen, but both my husband and daughter got badly burnt on their bodies and face - bather lines are clearly visible. My daughter has to stay indoors now with a long sleeve top on for extra protection. The company is closed for Christmas break for comment, but I am tempted to get the sunscreen independently tested.

My go-to sunscreen – I have tried a lot of sunscreens, and the Coconut Lotion range of Le Tan sunscreens is still my go-to sunscreen. use application (especially on your back when you don't have anyone to help you!!) and the most fantastic texture of any sunscreen. This is the only sunscreen I use and have been using it for many years. Everyone in my family loves it and the results from it.

is very fluid so it is easy to rub in quickly, and absorbs fast. I does not feel greasy or heavy, but your skin does feel like it has something on it when you touch it. OK – I personally do not like the spray on sunscreen idea, for one you need to spray it on your skin and then you just end up rubbing it in like you would if you used a typical lotion. about the coconut scent, but I guess it isn't too bad. Would not recommend applying it when you plan to go for a swim it washed off easily and stung my eyes.
